《Beast Cultivating System》Chapter 7 - Battling Golden Monkey King

As Dana came increasingly closer to the Golden Monkey King territory, she came across many Golden Monkey's which were subordinates of the Golden Monkey King, upon seeing Dana they thought they could overwhelm her with their sheer numbers.
However, this soon ended up becoming a one-sided slaughter of free soul points, Golden Monkey carcasses littered around a Frost Wyvern covered in blood.
The once bright green grass turned an eerie red, creating a rather horrifying image alongside the remaining of the Monkeys screaming out of fear warning their fellow compatriots that there is a terrifying monster coming to butcher them.
Once this was going on Dana was rejoicing with a beautiful smile which ended up with her current Draconic form looking like a bloodthirsty evil dragon which scares children in stories.
Seeing the numerous soul points she gained as a result of killing the Golden Monkey's Dana is amazed thinking although the individual cultivation levels of the Monkeys weren't that high the sheer amount of Golden Monkey's by far made it up in terms of quantity!
Dana has already made 250 soul points of the hundreds of monkeys ranging from Fourth Level of Body Refining to Seventh, the reason she had such an easy time is, of course, the Wyvern specialist in poison alongside her impenetrable defence among individuals in Body Refining Realm, results in her becoming a mass killing machine against a horde of weaker enemies.
Unlike what many would consider an unfavourable crisis turned into an extremely rewarding encounter.
Whilst pleased with herself, loud stomps alerted Dana to the terrifying large beast approaching her.
Seeing the appearance of the beast it was The Golden Monkey King standing at an impressive 18 ft tall with a stocky frame filled with explosive muscle, covered in golden fur with red bloodthirsty eyes, seeing the dead bodies of its brethren it looked at her with a murderous look filled with killing intent.
Wow, it sure lives up to its names as the sole Overlord of the outskirts of the forest Dana thought.
Dana knew this was going to the most challenging battle she experienced in this world, thus causing her muscles to tense to prepare for the hard battle ahead of her.
The Golden Monkey King launched its large fists in a flurry of blows at astonishing speed.

Dana staggered, barely dodging each blow which contained astonishing power.
Dana knew even with her defence getting hit by a beast which is currently in the process of forming its core to begin its promotion in becoming a Qi Circulation Realm beast will still cause injuries if it struck her cleanly.
Dana kept utilizing her body's superior speed in order to evade the Golden Monkey King blow whilst waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Gradually, the longer the battle continues, the more refined in her movements Dana becomes, adapting to the Golden Monkey Kings ferocious attacks.
However, her speed still was only slightly higher than the Monkey Kings and Dana knew she had to take a risk in order to defeat the Golden Monkey King.
So, she launched her tail, which contained her poisonous spikes at one of the Golden Monkey King chests which left her open for an attack from the Golden Monkey King which struck her at the same time.
*BANG*
The Golden Monkey King punch landed like a sledgehammer into her body, she was swung backwards and coughed a mouthful of blood.
Whilst a large gash came across the Monkey Kings torso, drops of black-coloured blood continuously dropped towards the floor.
Although she was hit by the Golden Monkey King she launched her full strength into that strike whilst the Golden Monkey King only landed at around 70% of his power on her body, this was the risk she needed to take to obtain victory.
As she wasn't fast enough to launch an attack which contained her full whilst evading a Spirit Beast, which has half a step in Qi Circulation Realm.
She needed to launch an attack at her full power to break through the Golden Monkeys skin to allow her poison to seep into its veins.
As a Frost Wyvern, her poison is astonishingly strong as seen by the immediate reaction of the Golden Monkey King, the poison will weaken its full strength greatly causing it to be much easier for Dana to take it down.
Additionally, her poison is impossible to resist, unless that cultivator or spirit beast has a much stronger cultivation base than her, has strong enough poison immunity, or has a detoxifying pill suited towards a Frost Wyvern poison, if they have none of these options similar to the Golden Monkey King, then they are destined for death.

Whilst receiving the poison inside its veins and her full strength attack the Golden Monkey King shows wariness as the Overlord of this area for many years this is the first time it has been threatened.
Even those powerful cultivators which it has seen pass through its territory towards the depths of the forest doesn't cause it to be threatened by this much, looking at the beast in front of it feels the natural suppressive air of a superior spirit beast, it instinctively knows that the beast before it has a much stronger bloodline than it, thus causing the overlord of the Forest for the first time to show fear.
The poison running through its veins is causing its Qi to drain rapidly, as it is diverting a large amount of Qi in order to suppress it.
The Golden Monkey King knew it had to end this fight quickly so launched all of its most powerful attacks.
After seeing the desperation in the Golden Monkey's face, she knew that it was going to go all out.
So she immediately prepared herself for the incoming barrage, a golden light shrouded the Golden Monkey King fists as it launched its bloodline ability.
Dana immediately used Ice Claw to counter, before she was afraid to receive the Golden Monkey King attack, but now its full strength cannot be displayed, therefore the exchange ended in a tie.
After a few more rounds of exchanging, the Golden Monkey King attacks grew weaker and weaker until her claws pierced through its chest, ending the once mighty Overlord which reigned at the top for years to perish.
"Wow, that beast was sure tough!" Dana panted, it took much of her concentration to win this fight and this was the hardest battle she experienced coming from this world but with it bring benefits she immediately dug out the Golden Monkey King core.
Although the Golden Monkey King hasn't fully completed its core, it still contained a massive amount of energy which is greatly beneficial towards cultivation.
[Ding! Host, the System detects an uncommon bloodline do you wish to absorb or convert it for 5000 soul points? Additionally, the Golden Monkey King has provided 100 soul points upon its death.]
Dana was shocked for a second, at a large number of soul points before happily responding;
"Yes"
With a hefty sum of soul points alongside the Golden Monkey King's core for her cultivation, she now has access to resources need to increase her cultivation by leaps and bounds!
Before leaving Dana obviously couldn't let the Golden Monkey King's body go to waste, so without further a due she ate the Golden Monkey King whole, licking her lips a pleased expression emerged on her face.
She got to admit this was the best meal she had since coming to this world...
It seems she was right, about the higher the cultivation of the beast, the more appetising it is for her.
She now eats the beasts completely unashamedly unlike the first few attempts, she no longer even feels a tinge of disgust for eating the beasts as a wild animal would do in Earth.
Being still hungry, as she hasn't eaten for three days as a result of cultivating... Dana obviously helped herself to some of the Golden Monkey's remains she massacred earlier, once she fully had her fill Dana happily took her gains towards a suitable area to recover from her injuries and to continue her cultivation, she didn't realize that in the Azure Continent she has caused an uproar as the Overlord of the forest a beast in which even Qi Circulation Rank 2 experts feared has perished.
This caused many to wonder about what type of monster killed it, due to human experts in finding the remains of the Monkey King subordinates ripped to pieces, whereas the Golden Monkey King was just a pile of bones, without a single piece of its former hulking body remaining, thinking of the size of a beast which could swallow the Golden Monkey King Whole including a dozen of its subordinates created chills down the human experts spines, with this news they knew now that a new Overlord has taken over the outskirts of Devils Peak, and it was much more of a frightening existence than the Golden Monkey King!
