Body Cultivation and Soul Cultivation are both rarely used and practised by cultivators as either technique being exceedingly rare or due to the fact it is much more challenging to practice compared to Qi cultivation.

Body Cultivation

However, this only applies to a beast of similar strength or bloodline to them as there are beasts with ridiculously strong bodies which they will never be able to compete to such as dragons. So, with Dana practising body strength techniques it will make her body much stronger than other Frost Wyverns at similar cultivation Rank.

Soul Cultivation

Cultivating the soul is one of the major requirements in ascending towards the Nascent Soul Realm.

However, Soul Cultivation isn't just associated with that.

Having a stronger soul than other cultivators allows an individual to send soul attacks towards opponents who could either cause damage towards an enemies soul or there are even some soul techniques which can create mental illusions.

Thus, making soul cultivation attack methods extremely dangerous towards other cultivators.

Cultivating soul techniques have various benefits towards an individual such as increasing a cultivators comprehension towards laws and martial skills.

The Ranks of Soul Cultivation are as followed;

Mortal Soul - Low Tier, Middle Tier, Upper Tier

Infant Soul - Low tier, Middle tier, Upper Tier

Nascent Soul - Low tier, Middle Tier, Upper Tier

Saint Soul - Low Tier, Middle Tier, Upper Tier

Half-Step Immortal Soul- Low tier, Middle tier, Upper Tier

Immortal Soul- Low Tier, Middle tier, Upper Tier

Divine Soul - Low Tier, Middle Tier, Upper Tier

Soul Cultivation is extremely difficult and not many cultivators have talent in soul Cultivation as it much more difficult compared to Qi Cultivation which is why most cultivators stop at Nascent Soul which is the base requirement to enter the Nascent Soul Realm.

Also, it is the main reason behind most cultivators past the Nascent Soul Realm only achieve between Nascent Soul Low Tier and Upper Tier soul cultivation within their entire lives.
