《Abigail the Grimoire》Not a Chapter - Status Update 2

I emerge from my post-Christmas stupor. We were not able to finish the hoop house, but thankfully we can get an extension, which gives us another shot at the grant. Our Christmas Eve service went pretty well, albiet with a fair amount of a 'we're doing it live!' vibe. Despite a few glitches, the congregation loved it.
Now on my writing:
I have begun writing again, with a few hundred words on a new story (its working title is 'Seraphim and Spaceships'). I'll also be spending time editing Abigail the Grimoire. Thanks to your feedback (special thanks to Brynath, Stillness, and Ratted for your reviews) I now have a veritable laundry list of things to improve (Like giving Gem a specific age. Being intentionally vague really backfired on me there.)
Minor rant warning:
I also wanted to adress a few points raised by some other folks. To people who find the use of modern LGBT+ terminology(particularly on gender issues), I agree that it's pretty jarring to see that in a fantasy setting. The terminology to describe these things just didn't exist until very recently, but these things have always existed(I am not debating this point, nor will I be providing links to support my position. If you are genuinely interested, you can do your own research). There are several appraoches I have considered to resolve this. One is to make it clear that while everyone is speaking another language, it is being translated for us through Abigail's lens of reality. Another option is that, in my multiverse, reincarnators will invariably find themselves as some flavor of transgender at some points throughout their lives. It is literally what happens when you put a male mind in a female body or vice versa. (This one is cannon, by the way). The third and last option I've considered is just to include the modern terminology without in-universe explination and having it just be a part of the suspension of disbelief. (I know this is hard for the readership of this site.)

In exciting news, we have just had our first two sets of baby goats born. Three kids each, two girls and one boy. We introduced them all to each other today, and they had a grand time playing with each other. I'll see about adding a couple of pictures in my next update (which will probably come with a chapter of something!)
It's worth noting that I plan on releasing Seraphim and Spaceships on Archive Of Our Own (henceforth known as Ao3) first, mostly due to sexual content (it has a lot).
Please check the poll and comment, it'll really help me out!
Stay safe everyone,
-Lilith
PS: I look away for a week or two and somehow I go from just over 100 followers, to a little over 400 followers. Thanks, I guess? I never expected any of my work to appeal to this many people.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…

Glitch
I always dreamed of being one of the Awakened, one of the heroes that fights back the Insanity on his own terms. They’re always pictured driving the newest cars, wearing the latest clothes, using the best gene-mods and implants. They’re supposed to be more than just human. At least, that’s what I thought until I Awakened. Now my life is a mess of corporate intrigue, shifty politics, cyberzombies and at least one group of revolutionaries whose ideas are sounding better every day. I never wanted to be the punk that brought the system down, but the temptation to just glitch out is growing by the minute. Glitch is a Cyberpunk LitRPG set in a near future where some people are given abilities that allow them to do things that no normal human could ever do. This fiction is written, maintained and owned by Edgar Malboeuf. Copyright 2018

Aytelia
A magical world embracing chaos as powerful entities and worlds fight for survival or power, observed by the "universals", a sentient species no one can fathom or reason with. Their knowledge, comparable to the vast amounts of years they have existed for and their power feared by even some Gods, capable of destroying and creating entire universes, Aytelia being their proudest creation. Amongst all these the name of one of them is profound even amongst them, both feared and respected - Righteousness. As a lone girl wakes up in a large strange fountain, filled with other individuals in the same position such as herself, she lifts her drowsy head to find her surreal surroundings. The civilians walking around said fountain are all weird creatures that could only come out of a fantasy - orcs, elves, dwarfs, dragonewts, all wearing all different kinds of medieval armor, weaponry and artifacts. What will happen to her in this world? Will she be able to find a place in it and will the mysteries behind her current circumstances be revealed? Why is she so different than those around her? Warning: Character is extremelly OP and the lore behind it doesn't get covered till chapter 14. Updates once a week. First time posting my writing on the internet so feedback would be appreciated.
