Welcome to the [Royal Road Community Magazine]. This is a contest organized by DrBuller, The Random Cat, and Vitaly S Alexius to support RR's new and upcoming authors.

Authors were given the prompt 'And then the sun went out' and told to write a novel. Though most of the books themselves are still works in progress, this magazine compiles the first chapter of all of these books so that you, the readers, may have the advantage of easy access to the stories.

These books cover many genres from LitRPG to Classical Fantasy and even Sci-Fi. We hope that they shall have something for every reader that comes across this magazine.

The contest isn't just limited to the magazine. It has another aspect to it—the rewards. The Royal Road Community has many reviewers and authors who have shown a passion for constructive and in-depth criticism of many works.

The organizers have invited some of them to serve as judges and choose the three best books from the contestants. With the help of the RR admins, we have managed to gain some prizes for these upcoming authors.
