《I awoke as the hero of Oakvale》Chapter 1 Who am I?

"Nooooooo! STOP! PLEASE!"
I stumbled half asleep out of my bed to the sounds of a screaming girl. It had to be the worst and most ear-piercing sound in the world. I smacked my head upon the wooden floor adding to my groggy awakening.
Wasn't my floor carpeted? I asked myself.
Sitting up and opening my eyes I looked around in confusion. The man and woman that came to make sure I was okay were familiar. My brain told me they were my parents. My father Brom and my mother Scarlett. Some of my memories disagreed showing me playing a game with them as characters. Characters that died right in front of the protagonist. Looking at the small bed I'd fallen out of a sickening foreboding overtook me.
I looked at my now small hands and a pair of gloves that would be massive on a child's hands near a pair of shoes at my bedside. Don't tell me... He and I have become the same person! It can't be, that simply doesn't happen!
The sun was rising outside the beautiful cottage home and with no mirror inside I took off running. I went to the nearest creek and looked at my own reflection. It was as I had feared: I am the boy from Fable 1. Sometime in the near future my father would be killed, my mother kidnapped, and my sister blinded.
Sitting by the riverside with what probably looked like a thousand-mile stare I thought about the future. How could I turn my back on these people and let such horrible events unfold? Heck, there is no guarantee if I do the exact same thing as the protagonist did I will still survive. I'm playing the game in ultra-high stakes and super hard mode. I doubt me telling my parents as an 8-year-old about the future will really change anything. My sister Theresa screams the future every night but only twin-blade the bandit king in the future actually listens. Not that much of what she screams is coherent anyway but still, people don't believe in that they don't understand.

So it looks like it's up to me to change the future but I don't know-how. The protagonist never learned to use will powers until he was a late teen in the game. He did so using a special platform at the guild that only activated after he got his guild seal. Remembering the games lore Magic known as "Will" in this world is fed by will-power. Experience from killing enemies is cultivated into new powers/abilities through what is hinted as meditation. Lucky for me I remember how powers were supposedly made mentioned by the game makers who originally wanted to call the game wish world. While in meditation I would form a world made of specific magic like fire. Once the world was formed I would have access to basic fire magic. As I fed it experience this mostly lifeless world of magic element would grow and with it the power of my spells.
I didn't plan to waste my time on fire magic though. What I need now most is time! So I will start by cultivating time magic and in doing so give myself some more. Sneakily grabbing one of my father's axes from the house I planned to kill beetles in the woods. A voice suddenly sent a cold sweat down my spine.
