“Huh? Supreme Being?.... Did you just say Supreme Being?!”
Ishma was practically screaming with her eyes bulging out of her head.
“Yeah. That’s him.”
“Reincarnated…?”
Kathrine’s voice was trembling.
“Are you serious?”
“I am.”
“Does everyone reincarnate after they die?”
“That doesn’t matter. What matters, is your answer to my question.”
“Wait, wait, wait! What’s going on here?!”
Ishma turned to Miko.
“The Supreme Being reincarnated Bloom? Why?”
“He probably has no good reason.”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Aniket is a being that is omnipotent and omniscient. There are a few things that escape his influence. For example, Irregulars. Well, that’s how he was in the past. Now, he’s just unbelievable powerful. He gave up his omniscience and limited his influence on the universe.”
“Why?”
“Because he got bored.”
Ishma was visibly confused. Around this time, Kathrine finally gave her answer.
“I lived a shitty life. I can’t count the number of times I wished for death. In the end, I got my wish…..Even so….I am not satisfied! I didn’t live how I wanted and if I get another chance you think I won’t take it?!”
“So, I’ll take that as a yes.”
Kathrine nodded vigorously.
“Then, enjoy your new life.”
Kathrine’s body started glowing.
“I heard your wish to be able to fly. So as a starter gift I’ll give the power to do so and more.”
Her body started turning into light particles.
“I’ll grant you the power of gravity. Whether you use it to lighten your burdens or it weighs you down even further, that’s up to how you live your new life.”
She disappeared into the light.
“No matter what kind of life you live, I’ll be watching until the end.”
The voice disappeared and Miko and Ishma were left alone.
“I don’t get it. Why did the Supreme Being help Bloom?”
Ishma turned to Miko again.
“I told you. He has no reason. He most likely still keeps an eye on Earth now and again and randomly pick humans to observe. Bloom was probably one of those humans. He took an interest in her life, especially the way it ended. He most likely gave her a second chance because he was curious about what kind of life she would live after everything she’s experienced.”
“How do you know?”
“Because it’s what I would do if I was bored.”
“What?”
“Aniket is the only one qualified to call himself the One True God. He has no weakness and has lived forever. It isn’t that surprising that he would get bored every now and again. Living life like that must be exhausting especially if you’re living it alone. That’s why he weakened himself by stepping down from his role as Supreme Being. He did it so that he could live.”
Miko clenched his fists.
“The only thing he did though was damned the rest of us. He was never the confrontational type so he just watched everything go to shit saying that it’s not his right to interfere and that should decide for ourselves….Isn’t he benevolent?”
“…..Why do you know so much?”
“……….”
Miko remained quiet. Ishma looked at him for a bit before she remembered something.
“Wait…Aniket? Didn’t Augustus mention that name a few times?”
Miko looked at her with a weird gaze.
“If I remember correctly he said something about-”
“Ishma. The scenery changed.”
“Huh?”
It was like Miko said. They were in front of a building with a sign that said “New Dawn Orphanage”. The cry of a baby reached their ears and it drew their attention to the doorstep. There was a silver-haired baby wrapped in a cloth. They recognized this baby; it was Bloom who had just been reborn.

“So this is the beginning.”
The door opened and a nun walked out. When she saw Bloom she sighed and picked her up.
“Come along, little one. Let’s hope that you get adopted by a good family.”
The scenery changed again. This time they were inside a library at the orphanage. A silver-haired toddler was surrounded by books and skimming through them.
“She’s studying the world that she’s in. It’s the natural thing to do in her situation.”
Miko looked at the nuns observing Bloom from a distance.
“The problem is that she didn’t do it discreetly enough. If a toddler shows that level of intelligence at that age, there’ll naturally be problems.”
The scenery changed again. They were in an office. Bloom was sitting on a chair while a man who was observing her was sitting behind his desk. Several nuns were in the room, all with their eyes set on her.
“Are you certain?”
“Yes, Director. We’ve seen her several times and no matter how we try to deny it she was reading those books.”
“…..Let’s run some tests to be sure.”
The scene changed again but they were still in the office.
“Incredible. Not only does she know how to read and write, her comprehension skills are no worse than an adult’s.”
The director put down the papers he was reading.
“This girl is a genius.”
Bloom’s body flinched. The director’s tone was unnatural. The way he looked at her made her uncomfortable. Soon the director’s face overlapped with her uncle’s. Her eyes widened and her palms became sweaty. She started shaking her head while backing up in the chair she was in. Her body stiffened when she realized that couldn’t back up any further. Suddenly, iron bars were around her and shackles were on her feet. Her heartbeat quickened and it became hard to breathe. While she was experiencing these things the director stood from his desk and walked up to her.
“I’m sure that she’ll make our futures bright.”
He stooped down in front of her.
“Right, Little Girl?”
“!”
Bloom’s eyes widened and her body became hot. A loud crash echoed in the office. The nuns looked and saw the director behind his desk on top of his head with his legs in the air. He was flung across the room right before their eyes. With their trembling lips, they turned to look at Bloom. She was breathing heavily and her eyes were bloodshot. She climbed down from her chair and unsteadily walked over to the director. He looked up at her while he laid on the ground.
“Never again.”
“Huh?”
The director suddenly felt a crushing pressure on his chest. He lost the ability to breathe. He tried to get up but couldn’t. Horror stained his face.
“I’ll never allow anyone to threaten my freedom again. Never again!”
“I understand! I understand! So please!”
Bloom glared at the director before turning to walk away from him.
“Oh, I don’t like the name you people gave me so I’m gonna change it.”
The door flew open without anyone touching it.
“From now on, I’m Bloom. That’s my goal for this life, to bloom. Never forget it.”
She walked through the door leaving the nuns and director trembling in her wake. The scene changed again. Bloom was in the library once again. She was sitting around a table with many books on it. The books varied from many subjects, from warfare to politics to history.
“If I want to live free like a bird I need power, status, and money. If I have enough of these then I can live as I like. But living freely isn’t enough.”

She opened a book on warfare.
“I need to become stronger than everybody else. I must be the one looking down while everyone else is looking up at me. I must become king!”
She stretched her hand out and a book on another table flew into her hand.
“Gravity is an impressive power but it isn’t enough. I need to make it stronger while adding other abilities to my arsenal. I must become a jack-of-all-trades. Whatever I can’t learn to do myself I’ll learn how to counter it.”
She clenched her teeth.
“I’ll never go back to those days ever again!”
The scenery changed again. They were outside of the orphanage. They saw a young girl around 6 exited the orphanage with a duffle bag. It was Bloom.
“Bloom.”
The director came out behind her.
“You’re free to come back whenever.”
“….I’ll come back every now and again. I’ll also donate some money later.”
The director’s eyes lit up.
“Don’t misunderstand, Director. I merely wish to keep this place running for one reason. It will be my personal farm for talented individuals who will join my ranks in the future, nothing more.”
“Y-Yes. I understand.”
Bloom left the orphanage without saying another word. The scene changed. It was night and they were in a city. Explosive sounds rang out and people were flying through the air. They crashed into walls, vehicles, and through windows. Groans could be heard in every direction. Bloom was standing in the middle of the street. She was holding a man by his neck.
“Y-You monster brat!”
“When I told you to surrender your gang to me you should’ve done it. Because you didn’t, you’re in this situation.”
“Who would surrender to a random brat?!”
“Well, this random brat defeated your guards and raided your hideout alone. That should’ve made you realize I’m not someone to fuck with.”
The man’s body became limp with a snap of his neck. Bloom threw his body into trash cans and spoke.
“Your leader is dead. You all belong to me now. From this day forward you all are a part of the Usurpers.”
“The Usurpers? Weren’t they the small fries that controlled the Red Light District before us? The ones Edward destroyed.”
Miko nodded.
“Jin said that they had no leader but that was a lie. Their leader and founder was the queen herself that’s why she allowed them to exist and even aided them in the war Edward started. Bloom had controlled the country from the light and the shadows without anyone knowing.”
The scene changed to an office. A man in a suit sat behind a desk looking at the little girl in front of him.
“You want me to turn over everything to you?”
He burst out laughing.
“Listen, I don’t know how you got in here but I think you should leave while I’m still in a good mood.”
“You don’t seem to understand.”
“No, it’s you who don’t understand!”
He stood up and pointed at Bloom.
“I said leave now!”
Bloom ignored him and dug into her pocket.
“You little! Guards, come and take this brat out my office!”
“No one is coming.”
“Huh?! Why?!”
She took out three nails and showed them in her hand.
“Because I killed them all.”
The nails flew out of her hand penetrated the man’s head. He collapsed in his chair with his head hung to the side. Bloom walked out of the room. She walked past dozens of bodies laying on the ground. Splashing sounds could be heard from her stepping in pools of blood. She walked through the exit and was greeted by a crowd of thugs.
“Good work, Boss!”
They all bowed and made way for her walk. She looked at their faces and then at the sky.
“I’ve gotten a lot of money and manpower these past months. I’m a big shot in the underworld now….I guess it’s time to enroll in the military academy and become a soldier.”
“…This girl. She planned on ruling everything from the beginning.”
The scenery changed with Miko’s mumble. They were inside an auditorium with a sign that said Graduation. A man in military uniform stood on the stage.
“Now, a word from the top student.”
He walked off and a teenage girl around 13 walked on to the stage with her silver hair tied in a ponytail. It was Bloom.
“I entered this academy at the tender age of 9 and here I am four years later as the top graduating student. I was the youngest student to ever enroll in the academy and I’m also the youngest to graduate. Because of my age and my personality people had the impression that I was a cocky, cold-hearted, brat who didn’t know her place. Over the years I’ve gained countless enemies and zero friends. That being said, I have something I want to say to those enemies.”
A small grin appeared on her face.
“You better get used to seeing me winning because it’s only up from here on out for me.”
Bloom’s words caused an uproar and even the instructors looked troubled. However, she didn’t seem to care.
“You guys can cry all you want.”
She started walking off the stage with a smirk on her face.
“In the end, I’ll be king.”
The scenery change again. This time they were on a battlefield. Dead people were everywhere and explosions could be heard in all directions. Miko saw Bloom in the air with her arms spread wide. She clasped her hands together. Soldiers, vehicles, and buildings all slammed into each other causing mass destruction.
“The Newgate Country says hello!”
She lifted her arms in the air and all hell broke loose.
The scenery changed again. Bloom was walking inside a building with a frown on her face.
“How was your meeting with the king?”
She turned around. It was a little girl. The girl looked to be around 9, had pink hair, a cute face, and two different colored eyes; pink and gold. Bloom didn’t recognize her.
“Who are you?”
“My apologies. I am Marionette.”
Someone appeared behind her.
“This is my assistant, Jin Makoto.”
Jin didn’t even glance in Bloom’s direction.
“We’re from MYTH.”
“I see.”
Mari’s eyes widened.
“I thought that you’d have a bigger reaction regarding my identity. Or do you not know who I am?”
“You’re MYTH’s second-in-command, right? In other words, you’re someone who can destroy this country with a snap of her fingers.”
“….Yeah.”
“And?”
“Huh?”
Bloom stepped towards Mari.
“I’m asking what does that have to do with me?”
Jin stepped in between them.
“Step back.”
Bloom glared at him.
“Make me.”
“Now, now. There’s no need to fight.”
Mari stepped between them and pushed them away. She then turned to Bloom.
“I’ve heard a lot of good things about you, Bloom. The more I look into you the more badass you seem. I can’t help but be fascinated by you.”
“….What do you want?”
Jin pulled a gun from under his coat.
“Fix your tone.”
“Jin.”
His body flinched. He turned to Mari and saw a deadpan expression on her face. He slowly put away the gun and stepped back.
“I apologize. You see, I’m the closest thing he has to family, so he can be overprotective sometimes.”
Mari waved her hand and something appeared in front of Bloom. It was a card.
“I’m planning on staying here for a bit. Come and visit me at our branch office when you have time. That card will allow you to meet me.”
She turned away from Bloom.
“Feel free to come whenever.”
The scenery changed to inside Mari’s office. Bloom was there with Mari and Jin.
“Thanks for coming to visit again, Bloom. Jin and I truly enjoy your company.”
Mari was all smiles while Jin and Bloom had their usual frowns.
“Having friends in high places is always good. So I’ll naturally come to visit.”
“As always, your crude honesty is so charming.”
Mari laughed.
“By the way, there’s something I was meaning to ask.”
Mari smirked.
“What kind of place was Earth?”
Bloom’s eyes narrowed.
“How long did you know?”
“From the beginning. You see, our organization has quite a few reincarnated individuals. Because of that, we kinda learned how to detect them.”
“That’s some organization. So, that’s the reason you approached me….Then, what’s your endgame here?”
“You’ve never hidden your intentions of becoming king of this country, but for some reason, you never asked me to make you king. I’ve figured that you want to obtain it with your own hands but how about I give you the opportunity right now?”
She stretched her hand out to Bloom.
“How about it? Do you want to become king?”
Suddenly, the world became distorted.
“What the hell?”
Ishma started looking around in panic.
“This is bad….Bloom’s emotions are spiraling out of control. We can’t go any further without our souls receiving serious damage.”
The world crumbled around them. Their souls were dragged back to the real world. When Miko regained focus Bloom was standing in front of him with a blank look on her face. Tears slowly flowed from her eyes. She opened her mouth as wide as she could but no sound came from it. However, Miko had a bad feeling.
*Bam!*
Cracks ran through the earth and spread out around him and Bloom. Chaotic Vita flowed out of Bloom’s body and covered the area. The space became distorted and rumbling sounds echoed through the area.
“Ah..Ah..Ah…”
Muffled sounds slowly leaked out of her mouth. And then-
“AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH?!”
A deafening screech came out of her mouth. Huge chunks of the earth and debris floated in the air. Everything around Miko bent out of shape. The area looked like it was an abstract painting.
“She’s lost control. It seems like bringing up those old memories triggered her already unstable mental state.”
Miko formed a sword in his hand. Darkness started seeping out of his body.
“Ishmavael, we’ll need to go all out with this one.”
He placed the sword in front of him and held both ends.
“Ascending Satan- First Gate: Dark Apostle + Crow King!”
Darkness spread through the land as if signifying the coming of an evil king.
“Dark Crow King!”
