The battle between Miko, Jin, Shòuxíng was an intense one. With Jin added to the mix the pace of the battle had drastically increased along with the intensity.

Jin flew threw the sky and fired countless beams at Shòuxíng and Miko who were on the ground. Shòu deflected every one of them with punches. Miko on the other moved through the shower of beams with swift and smooth movements.

“Flow Step!”

He stopped and jumped in the air. To Jin’s surprise he moved from one beam to the next and started climbing up to where he was like he was a surfer climbing up a wave.

“Flow Step: Parkour.”

“An aerial battle is exactly what I want.”

Jin spread his arms and the night sky was filled with light swords, all pointing at Miko. The swords came at him from every direction.

“So you think you have the advantage in an aerial battle?”

Miko laughed as dragon wings came from his back. He timed the swords and maneuvered through the air to avoid every one of them. He flew towards Jin.

*Bam!*

He was punched from below. He looked and saw Shòuxíng with golden wings on his back.

“I can fly too.”

“Ah, I forgot that he was one of the Four Dragon Stars for a reason.”

All three faced each other in the sky. The first to make his move was Jin. Electricity and fireballs appeared around him and he fired them at Shòuxíng and Miko. Shòu accelerated bulldozed his way from the attacks and headed straight for him. The image of a golden dragon appeared behind him bearing it fangs at Jin who created a light sword in his hand. Shòu threw a punch and the golden dragon charged towards him. Jin flew towards it and cut the dragon down the middle. He then blocked Shòu’s punch with the sword. An orb appeared at Shòu’s side and blasted him with a laser. He grunted and his body softened. Jin took that chance to kicked him in the side of his head. His leg lit up and blasted Shòu out of the air and into a building.

Miko appeared behind him and Jin spun around with a kick. Miko took the kick to the head and used the momentum to spin his body clockwise in the air and slammed his heel on Jin’s head. Jin was forced down a bit before getting stomped in the chest. Miko stomped him straight into the ground and caused it burst open. Shòuxíng burst out of the building and hit Miko with a strong hook. Miko was blown off Jin who immediately blast Shòuxíng with a laser and made him stumble back. Jin got to his feet and hit Shòu with an uppercut, forcing him off the ground. Shòuxíng twisted his body and slammed his leg in his exposed side before falling to the ground. Jin bent forward holding his side. He blinked a saw something flash at his feet.

“Attention!”

Miko popped up and kicked him in the face forcing his body to stand up straight.

“At ease!”

He then circled behind him and kicked him in the back of the head and forced him to the ground.

“Savage Fist!”

Shòuxíng popped up and slammed his fist in Miko’s face propelling him back. Miko flipped his body and landed on the ground. His feet skid on the earth before he launched himself towards Shòuxíng. Shòu rushed towards him.

“Azure Dragon Style….!”

Miko suddenly multiplied which confused Shòuxíng. Multiply Mikos attacked Shòu from his front and sides. While he prepared for their attacks a different Miko appeared behind him. Shòuxíng sensed this and it caused his reaction to be dull. The Mikos in front attacked with punches while the Miko at the back fired a palm strike carrying overwhelming force. The attacks connected at the same time.

“Estuary!”

An explosive sound rang out as force entered Shòuxíng from all directions, combining together to create one huge explosion inside his body. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and his body froze up like statue before collapsing to the ground.

“You have no idea how hard it is to land that attack.”

Miko said with a smile. He spun around faced Jin.

“Alright, Jinny Boy. Come at me.”

Jin looked at him and smiled. Miko felt a blow to his back. He turned and saw Shòuxíng glaring at him while blood leaking from his mouth.

“Hellish Eruption!”

*Boom!*

Miko’s figure was devoured by a fiery aura that rose up to the sky. When it faded he was pitch-black with smoke coming off his body.

“Demon…Arts?”

Shòuxíng grabbed him and flung him into the air.

“Behemoth is a great demon so isn’t natural for me to use demon arts?!”

Shòuxíng shot into the air and blast him away with a flaming fist. Miko was sent flying into the distance. Shòuxíng wanted to chase after him but Jin appeared out of a light and blast him with a laser.

“Don’t forget about me.”

Meanwhile, Miko laid out in the middle of a crater.

“So he’s able to use more of Behemoth’s power now.”

Tia appeared from a light looking down on him.

“Is it gonna be harder to defeat him now?”

Miko sprung to his feet and dust off the soot covering his body.

“Not really. It just makes it more fun.”

At the same time, Jin and Shòuxíng were clashing in a high-speed battle. They ran beside side each other while firing attacks. Shòuxíng bent his head to avoid a laser and fired a red light from his fist. Jin accelerated and avoided it. He created several lightning cannons around him and fired them at Shòuxíng who stopped and threw a kick defusing the lightning. He kicked off the ground and charged at Jin who charged at him as well. Jin swung his light sword and Shòu punched it away. Jin formed another one in his free hand and slashed at Shòu’s chest. Shòu leaped back and Jin accelerated and thrust a sword at his face. He moved his head out of the way and slammed his leg in Jin’s torso.

“?!”

His kick connected but it couldn’t make Jin budge.

(He changed his density with gravity?!)

Jin slashed Shòuxíng across the chest and blood sprayed into the air. Shòu backpedaled but he couldn’t escape Jin.

“Makoto Tactics: Endless Cut!”

Jin’s swords moved with light speed as they cut into Shòuxíng and left cuts over all of his body.

“Ahhh!”

Shòuxíng roared like a beast and his skin turned red. He pounced at Jin who remained calm and swung his swords. The swords cut through Shòu but that Shòu disappeared like a mirage. Jin felt a blow to his liver. His feet lifted off the ground as he was forced to the side. His feet skid on the ground and he looked for Shòuxíng’s follow up but he couldn’t see him. A shadow cast over him causing him to look. A heel slammed into his face and forced him into the ground. The earth burst open and the light swords disappeared. Shòuxíng put more power in his foot and a crater opened up under them. Jin gritted his teeth as his body started glowing.

“Solar Burst!”

A huge burst of flames erupted from his body and blast Shòuxíng into the air. Jin sprang to his feet and formed several gigantic swords beside him.

“Die!”

He swung his arm and the swords flew towards Shòuxíng and hit him.

“Grr!”

Golden scales blocked the swords from piercing through Shòuxíng but it couldn’t stop the force behind the swords from forcing him into a building. The building collapsed on top of him. Jin blew the debris away with a mixture of flames, electricity, and gravity.

“Ahhh!”

Shòuxíng ran out of the smoke cloud roaring at the top of his lungs. Jin’s body started illuminating like a star.

“Come! I’ll put you out of your misery!”

He flew towards Shòuxíng. The two quickly entered each other’s attack range and threw punches at each other.

“Now, now.”

Suddenly, Miko appeared between them. He lifted both hands up and stopped their punches. The ground burst open underneath them but Miko didn’t budge.

“Why are you two getting so worked up?”

Jin and Shòuxíng saw it. Miko’s hands weren’t that of a human. They were covered in azure scales, large, and had claws. These were the hands of a dragon. Miko’s arms triple in size and his sleeves burst apart. His arms had turned into that of a dragon.

“Ahhh!”

Jin and Shòuxíng fell to their knees after feeling their hands getting crushed by Miko’s monstrous grip.

“Heh.”

Miko released their hands and they immediately distanced themselves from him. Miko looked at them and laughed.

“You two are definitely strong but I can’t help but wonder if I can make you a lot stronger than you are now. But for me to do that I need to make you two desperate.”

His body became visibly more muscular, he became 7ft tall, his skin turned into azure scales, his wings tripled in size, he grew a thick tail, and a pair of horns grew on the sides of his head. He had turned into a dragon.

“What the hell? I thought he was only able to partially turn into a dragon using a technique?”

Jin mumbled. Shòuxíng was shocked as well. After all, he’s seen Miko’s Dragonite but he’s never seen Miko take a complete dragon form before.

“What’s there to be surprised about? Did you really think that you could always trust the data you collected on me?”

Miko laughed.

“I met and live with some dragons for a while. After some time, you’ll naturally learn some stuff.”

He accelerated towards Jin who was the closest. Jin gathered dozens of light orbs in front of him and fired light bullets at Miko. Miko’s body flickered and he appeared above Jin, who turned into lightning and moved out of the way. Miko’s body flickered again and he reappeared with him punching Jin out of his lightning form and into the ground. Cracks spread through the earth and the ground sunk into a crater. Blood was forced out of Jin’s mouth and crushing sounds came from his body.

*BAM!*

Shòuxíng rushed at him and slammed his fist on the side of his head.

“Really? A fistfight?”

Explosive sounds rang out and Shòuxíng’s body was lifted off the ground with multiple fist marks in it.

“You could barely go toe to toe with my human form. So how can you hope to win in a fistfight with my dragon form?”

A pillar of lightning and flames erupted and forced Miko back. Jin rushed towards him with earth, lightning, flames, and wind surrounding him. Miko grinned and threw a punch at him. A thunderous sound resounded and Miko’s arm was blown back with all of the scales burnt off.

“Now that’s more like-”

Jin slammed his fist in the center of Miko’s face and blasted him away. Jin chased after him and started raining punches on him. Miko smiled and threw punches of his own. Their fists clashed against each other causing explosives sounds around them.

“Hm?”

Miko sensed a presence behind him. It was Shòuxíng who was preparing to attack. Miko took a deep breath.

“Azure Dragon Style:….”

His eyes became dull and all expression left his face. Shòuxíng threw a punch at his back while Jin attacked from the front. Miko twisted his body and avoided both attacks and countered with backhand slaps to their faces.

Jin and Shòuxíng got mad and started attacking with fierce punches and kicks. Miko’s body twisted and turned and avoided every attack while countering with his own.

“What the hell?!”

The two became visibly angered because they couldn’t hit their target at all and even ended up being the ones getting hit.

(What the hell is this? It’s like I’m fighting a slippery snake!)

Jin thought. He watched Miko’s movements and realized something.

(No…It’s like he has become water. He’s constantly adapting to the situation like water in a container or river water flowing through rocks. He’s constantly changing shape.)

Azure Dragon Style: Dead Calm, Miko erases all thoughts from his mind and allows his body to move by instincts alone. He is like water itself, he takes any shape and will keeping flowing smoothly until he encounters an obstacle strong enough to stop him completely. He can attack and defend in this state. This was the technique that was giving the two trouble.

“If this is the case…”

Jin distanced himself from Miko. Shòuxíng did the same, meaning that he too realized what was going on. Life returned to Miko’s eyes and he started smiling.

“Tsk. I hate that cocky attitude of yours.”

“I only seem cocky because you can’t defeat me. I mean you are something but you’re still not there yet. You two are still holding back. Is it because you’re afraid that you’ll destroy yourselves if you let everything go?”

Miko laughed.

“How can you expect to evolve if you don’t destroy yourself to do it?”

He accelerated towards Jin and Shòuxíng chased after him.

“I’ll kill you both!”

Jin flew towards them.

“Azure Dragon Style….!”

Miko kicked off the ground pounced at Jin.

“Kick Stream!”

Miko spun around and kicked Jin in the chest and forced him back. He ducked under a hook from Shòuxing and swept his feet off the ground before stomping him in his chest. He back-flipped off him and hit Jin with a bicycle kick to the face. Jin’s body hit the ground and Miko landed in a hand-stand. He spun on his hands while swinging his legs and kicked Shòu in the side the moment he stood up and forced him back to the ground. He brought his feet back to the ground, spun around, and hit a charging Jin with a dropkick. He quickly got to his feet and countered Shòu punching him from behind with a boot to the face. He then jumped and slammed an ax kick on top of his head and rattle his brain. He twisted his body and avoided a beam from behind and spun around and hit Jin with a roundhouse kick to the side of his head.

(This guy is only attacking with kicks.)

Shòu tackled him from behind but got a back kick to face. Jin created a light sword and slash at him. Miko side-stepped the slash and hit him with another roundhouse.

(The kicks are getting faster and more powerful with every strike.)

Shòu watched as Miko lifted Jin off the ground with a kick to the gut. He saw the smiling expression on his face and felt enraged.

(This guy is enjoying kicking us around. We’re fighting for our lives and he’s just messing around?)

The rage in him started boiling until the point his body was trembling. That’s when he heard roars coming from inside his body. He could see a giant red beast and a golden dragon looking down on him as if mocking him. This just made him angrier.

“Don’t you dare mock me. I own you!”

That’s when he remembered what Miko said.

“How can you expect to evolve if you don’t destroy yourself to do it?”

“I’ll be taking that advice.”

Shòuxíng’s body cracked like it was made of glass. Gold and red light started pouring out of these cracks.

“Hm?”

Miko stopped his foot that was inches away from hitting Jin. He moved back and turned to look at Shòu. Jin didn’t attack him because he too was captivated by what he was seeing. Shòu’s skin fell off of his body like shards and revealed a gold and red silhouette underneath. The silhouette grew until it was 8ft tall and almost 4ft wide. Wings formed behind it back along with two tails. The silhouette faded and a beast of a man was left behind. He wore baggy red pants and his muscular torso was naked for all to see. He had tattoos of a red beast entangling with a golden dragon stretching down each arm. His red hair was long, wild, and turned gold near the tips. He had a pair of armored golden dragon wings on his back and spiky red and gold tails. His eyes were golden and he had tusk-like horns on his head. This beast looked like the personification of savagery. The presence and power emitting from it made it seem like the world was trembling.

The sky slowly became illuminated and the sun rose behind Shòuxíng and brighten the land. However, to Miko and Jin, it was like the signaling of the start of a new era of dominance. This triggered something in Jin.

“I refuse to be defeated.”

He couldn’t defeat either of his opponents as he was so he had to give it his all. A dark yet luminous aura surrounded his body. His white hair darkened into a shiny silver and his eyes looked as cold as steel as they turned gray. His body emitted a dangerous vibe that made one’s skin crawl.

“Eclipse Form.”

This was the true form of Jin’s Inborn Ability, The Ecliptic God who wielded the eclipse element that New Era considered to be one of the most dangerous elements in existence.

“Now this will be fun.”

He grinned in anticipation.
