Let’s rewind time a bit. Luka and Bloom had just began their battle and both were determined to defeat the other. Bloom stayed in the sky and swung down her sword causing the surroundings to distort and break apart. Luka clenched her sword tightly and swung it overhead. An invisible force cut through the pressure Bloom created and head straight for her. She evaded the slash and dove towards the earth and thrust her sword down. Luka flew back and a crater opened up in the spot she was before. Bloom flew directly at her and slashed at her neck. The sword cut through Luka but Bloom didn’t seem happy. The Luka in front of her faded away like a mirage after being cut and another Luka appeared behind her, pointing her palm at her.

“Infinite Black Lightning!”

*Bam!*

An explosion strong enough to destroy a three story building swallowed Bloom whole and left a cloud of smoke behind.

“!”

Luka saw Bloom rush out of the smoke and slash at her chest. She lifted her sword in front of her and block the attack. However, the clash caused and ground burst open and shockwaves to blow the rubble around them away. With their sword locked, Bloom threw a kick but Luka blocked it by lifting her knee. The two stepped back and rushed at each other again. Luka jumped over a slash and swung her sword down to split Bloom’s head. Bloom jumped out of the way and then pounced at her before she could readjust herself.

“Roar!”

Luka’s sword turned into a black serpent and attacked Bloom, who swung her sword at it.

*Bam!*

To Bloom’s surprise, she failed to repel the serpent and had to distance herself when she saw that the flames gathering in its mouth. The serpent fired flames at Bloom and then Luka followed up by charging at Bloom barehanded. Bloom swung her sword and an invisible force rushed towards her. Luka punched out and her fist clashed with the force and caused an explosive sound. Luka suppressed the force and the serpent charged towards Bloom. Bloom swat the serpent into the ground with her sword and Luka pounced at her with her fist clenched. Bloom evaded her punch with a sidestep and then swung her sword down and cut her in two.

(I definitely cut her!)

Bloom watched as Luka’s severed body halves hit the ground. Even seeing them, something felt off.

“Wait, there’s no blo-”

*BAM!*

Bloom was interrupted by an uppercut from below. The force behind the uppercut lifted her body into the air and robbed a few seconds her of consciousness. By the time she was able to process that she was hit, Luka was already above her. Her mouth-mask opened and she fired a beam out of her mouth and blasted her out of the air and into the ground. Luka then started raining down attacks from the sky mercilessly bombarding Bloom nonstop. With every attack the area shook vigorously. It was like Luka was trying to blow the whole city away. It was at that moment it happened.

*Rumble!*

Luka heard a rumbling sound and halted when she saw the city started to visibly shake. It wasn’t just the city, it felt like the very air itself was shaking.

*Bam!*

Large cracks started opening up in the earth, the cracks were so wide that buildings started falling into them to never be seen again. A godly pressure then pressed down on Luka making it feel like a god had stretched its hand from the heavens just to squash her.

“…This is beyond anything I can handle isn’t it?”

She mumbled. When the smoke cloud she created cleared she saw a hazy figure at the center of a huge crater. This figure was covered with a dark purple aura so sinister looking that it looked like it escaped the darkest pits of hell. All one of could think when they look at the figure was “Anger”.

“…….”

Bloom silently took one step forward and the earth burst apart and started floating around her. She looked up at Luka and then-

The next second was in front of her.

“?!”

Luka was shocked and was slow to react when Bloom lifted her hand in front of her.

“Gravitational Push!”

*Bam!*

Luka was hit by an overwhelming force and thrown into the distance. She crashed through at least five buildings before crashing into the earth.

“Ugh!”

Unbearable pain assaulted her body and she was unable to move a muscle. She blinked and Bloom was once again above her.

(Is she using her ability to drastically increase her speed?!)

She saw Bloom lift one hand in the air. Wind then started gathering in her hand creating a miniature tornado. The tornado doubled in size by the second until it was as big as normal one.

“Tornado Drill.”

She swung her hand down and flung the tornado on top of Luka.

*BOOM!*

“Ahhhhh?!”

Luka screamed out in pain as the tornado pressed down on her while spinning rapidly. It was like she was ant and a power drill was being used on her. In five seconds, she had already passed out from the pain several times. Even so, the cold look in Bloom’s eyes didn’t fade. She pointed her finger at the tornado.

“Precision Shot.”

A purple light fired from her finger and completely erase the tornado and pierced through Luka’s stomach, leaving a fist size impression.

“Guah?!”

Luka started flinging her limbs in agony while blood flowed out her mouth.

“Kill you! I’ll fucking kill you, you bitch!”

She screamed with a hoarse voice. Bloom said nothing and hit her with another beam, this time leaving an impression in her shoulder. Like before, Luka screamed out in agony.

“Kill me? I’d like to see you try.”

Luka started gritting her teeth to the point she looked like she was going crack them. Infinity symbols then started appearing all over her body along with a burning heart symbol. She started struggling to sit up.

“I’ll definitely kill you!”

“Amazing willpower, I guess. But you’re the one who’s going to die.”

Bloom dove down and then aimed a stomp at Luka’s body.

“Roar!”

The black serpent burst out of the ground and charged at Bloom, who stomped it back into the ground. She then turned around and charged at Luka who was able to get her feet. Luka glared at her with eyes full of hatred and stretched her hand out to the side. The Flameheart mark on her body gave off a fiery glow and a fiery aura surrounded her body. Bloom created her claymore and slashed at her but Luka suddenly disappeared from where she was. A burn mark then appeared across Bloom’s torso. She quickly turned around and saw Luka in front of her with a sword made of golden flames in her hand.

“If you think that’s gonna save then you’re sadly mistaken!”

“Go to hell!”

The two girls charged at each other and swung their swords at the same time.

*BOOM!*

An explosion occurred when they clashed. The two flew out of the explosion and started clashing in the sky at a high speed. They clashed, were forced back, and then clashed again; they repeated this cycle over and over again. To spectators, it was like two comets were furiously clashing against each other in the sky.

*Bam!*

The two clashed and were propelled back.

“Time to finish this!”

Luka’s sword doubled in size and the flames started burning brightly.

“I’m gonna make you regret that you stood against me!”

Bloom’s sword also doubled in size.

“Die!”

“Die!”

The two flew towards each other with the intent of cut their enemy in half. It was then that it happened.

*Bam!*

Suddenly Bloom felt a blow to the back of her head. Her vision became blurry and her strength started to leave her.

(Poison?! But I didn’t sense new presence or killing intent.)

“Yo, Bloom.”

“?!”

That’s when Bloom heard a familiar voice.

(Gear?!)

She scanned the area with her eyes while slowly flying towards Luka but she couldn’t see where his voice was coming from.

“Don’t bother. I’m using a gadget to send my voice directly to you. I’m very far away from where you are.”

She heard Gear smirk.

“I’m glad that you attacked this city, it makes things a lot easier.”

Time started to slow down for Bloom, but even so she still heard Gear’s voice.

“I need Silver Crow and Renacido to go at it with everything they have. For that to happen, I need you to retire here.”

She saw Luka directly in front of her and watched as she lifted her sword in the air.

“If you’re the great queen you say you are, you’ll survive this; not that it matters. I just want you guys to destroy each other.”

That was the last thing she heard Gear say before time started moving again.

“Hell Divider!”

Luka swung down her sword and cut into Bloom’s body and scorched her insides. Bloom then fell out of the sky and hit the concrete below. At the same time, Gear was on a rooftop outside of the Red Light District watching everything from the scope of a huge sniper rifle.

“I hit the target from over a hundred kilometers away. Not bad if I say so myself.”

He stood up and threw the rifle over his shoulders.

“All the members of Silver Crow have a device on them that gives them real time information about Bloom’s condition. They should all know that she’s now at death door.”

He started walking away.

“It’s not hard to guess how those fanatics will react when they learn that their queen has been cut down by the enemy. Even if they were at death door, they’ll rise up to avenge their goddess. Especially, Jin. He will most likely destroy the city in a fit of rage. Miko’s Apostles also have a strong bond, if any one of them gets hurt or die they’ll also go berserk. With both sides without their leaders, they won’t stop until one side is completely destroyed.”

He stepped on a ledge and took a glance back and smiled.

“Have fun killing each other.”

He jumped down from the ledge and disappeared in the night.

Meanwhile, in the red light district, every member of silver crow paused whatever they were doing and looked at the message they received on their smartwatches.

“Bloom Newgate is in critical condition and in dire need of medical attention.”

They stared at the message in silence and even ignored the enemies they were fighting. The pain that was terrorizing them was long gone. The only thing they felt was a fiery sensation at the pit of their stomachs. This sensation spread to the rest of their bodies and even their vision became red. They clenched their fists and gritted their teeth before they all head in the same direction. They no longer cared about this war or what they came to do. They only had one desire and shouted this desire to the heavens with bloodshot eyes.

“I’LL KILL THE BASTARD THAT TIRED TO KILL MY QUEEN!!!”
