*Boom!*

An explosion of flames occurred in the center of the city where Sora was facing off against three members of Silver Crow by himself. He moved at an incredibly fast speed to avoid flames shot at him by Ryker. He evaded the shots and quickly cut the distance between them.

“Black Thrust!”

He thrust out his spear and fired a black light at Ryker, who twisted his body to avoid it before firing at Sora’s head. Sora bent backwards to avoid the attack but a crystal spike shot out of the ground and aimed to hit the back of his head.

“Resound!”

He released a burst of sound out of his feet and forced himself into the air with a backflip. He then spun around and blocked a punch from Chrome, who was trying to attack him from behind.

“Your vibration won’t work on a fellow sound user will it?!”

She held the spear tightly and kicked him in the midsection and sent shockwaves into his body causing him to release his spear. Or that’s what she hoped would happen.

“Black Medley.”

*BAM!*

She was hit by a burst of heavy sound that rattled her entire body causing her to let go of the spear and fall to the ground. Sora didn’t get to finish her off because Ryker had quickly attacked him from his right by firing a flame bullet. Sora moved back to avoid it but Ryker chase after him and kept firing at him.

“Even though their specialty is support they aren’t weak, and you easily took them out. That means that you’re a great threat to the queen!”

“……..”

Sora silently kept retreating while Ryker gave chase.

(This guy….He’s definitely the type who loves to fight. Fighting his type is always a pain. Also, I don’t know why but it feels like the guns are actually holding him back which means that it won’t be a easy battle.)

He looked around and saw sapphire and Chrome on the ground.

(I can’t rule these two out just yet either. I did damage their insides and made it hard for them to move but they can still use their abilities to hinder me as shown earlier….It’s still a 3 vs 1.)

Sora suddenly stopped retreating and then rushed towards Ryker and thrust his spear at one of the fire bullets and cut it in half. He accelerated further and appeared directly in front of him and stabbed at his throat. Ryker ducked under it and blast him in the chest with his guns. Sora’s figure was devoured by flames.

“?!”

Even so, Ryker had to move his body with everything he had to avoid being penetrated by Sora’s spear. A kick then followed the spear causing Ryker to leap back in retreat. But before his feet could touch the ground Sora hurled the spear at him and nearly took his head off. This caused Ryker’s body to freeze up in shock. That was all Sora needed. He popped up in front of Ryker and placed both palms on his chest.

“Black Beat!”

*BOOM!*

Ryker was hit by a massive burst of sound that was so powerful it formed a crater underneath him. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he collapsed to the ground.

“When you’re outnumbered the keys to victory are fast thinking and constant aggression.”

Sora then stomped on Ryker’s chest.

“Resound.”

Another burst of sound attacked his body and blood flowed out of his mouth and nose. However-

(My attack was blocked? Then why is he bleeding?)

Sora suddenly felt Ryker grab his ankle.

“Argh?!”

He suddenly felt like his ankle was on fire. He fought off Ryker’s hand and distanced himself. He looked down and saw the skin around his ankle completely burnt off. He immediately looked back and saw a heat haze coming off Ryker’s body. He sprung to his feet and his body was completely engulfed in flames. Sora saw a pair of flaming bird wings appear behind him. His entire body started to resemble that of a humanoid bird.

“Red Hawk.”

“Ah, Edward did say that every member of Silver Crow was an Inborn Ability User like Hina. I guess this is his abilit-”

*BAM!*

Sora was hit by a burning fist before he could finish speaking. His body flew through the air like an arrow. He was then kicked towards the ground by Ryker, who was lightning fast. Sora twisted his body and landed on his feet. He then leaped to the side to avoid Ryker’s fiery stomp.

“To make me try this hard to out run him, what a boost in speed.”

Sora stomped the ground and caused a piece of earth erect like a wall and block a fire breath from Ryker. He then ran from behind the wall and run towards Ryker who was flying towards him. The two clashed with punches and caused an explosion of flames and sound. Sora flew back with burns all over his body and a grin on his face.

“Oh, I’ll be sure to kill this one today!”

At the same time, a battle between Axel and the twins was well underway. Despite being caught by surprise by the twins earlier, Axel quickly recovered and was able to continue his fight. He stabbed his staff in the ground and literally peeled the entire road off the ground like it was actually detachable, and flung it in the twins direction. The twins scattered and avoided the wave of asphalt. They then charged at him from two different directions. Tessa reached him first and threw a kick at his head, he ducked under it and hit her in the stomach with the tip of his staff. He propelled her back and then thrust the other end at Kristen who was coming at him from the other side.

Kristen slid under the thrust, quickly got up, and fired a crimson lightning bolt at Axel’s side. Axel jumped over the bolt and then swung down the staff and would’ve crushed kristen’s head if he hadn’t dove out of the way. He then spun around and blocked a flying kick from Tessa with the staff. She somersault off the staff, created a foothold in the air with black ice and pounced at Axel again. Axel moved out of the way but was kicked in the back by Kristen and straight into a punch from Tessa. He stumbled back and then ducked to prevent getting behead from behind by a black ice blade that Kristen was weilding. He spun around and swept Kristen off his feet before spinning around again and thrusting staff at a charging Tessa. She dove to the side to avoid it and this gave Axel the breathing space he needed to stand up. Kristen had also got to his feet and distanced himself.

“Incredible. The twins have great coordination when they fight together but he’s successfully fended them off, even after the damage he took earlier.”

Edward mumbled while he watched the fight.

“He already knows how to defeat me so if I joined in I would only burden the twins. After all, I’m not really that great when it comes to fighting. Since that’s the case, I need to help them out the only way I can.”

He took out a rifle.

“The moment I get the chance I’ll put a bullet in his head.”

Axel stabbed his staff into the ground and chunks of earth started floating around him. He then used his staff to hit them and propelled the towards the twins. The twins evaded and destroyed the chunks of earth while advancing towards him. He twirled his staff and spoke with a smile.

“Come at me.”

Meanwhile, Ace and Jin were facing off on the other side of the city. The area that they were fighting in was reduced to a wasteland filled with burning rubble. Jin was wielding his Kusangi Sword from MYTH while Ace was fighting using Brawler Character.

Jin swung his sword at Ace’s body and Ace blocked it with his arm that was like a molten monster. He stepped forward and punched Jin in the stomach. Jin clenched his teeth and slammed his leg in the side of his face. Ace stumbled a bit but was still able to deflect Jin’s sword with his arm. He then threw a hook which Jin ducked under before hitting him with a jumping knee strike. He then swept Ace off his feet and stabbed at his body when he hit the ground. Ace rolled out of the way and then got to his feet. Jin chased after him and swung his sword.

*Bam!*

Storm-like winds was released from the sword and hit Ace bowing him away in the distance.

“Hermès Sandals!”

Jin flew after him and swung his sword again releasing even more wind. Ace was trapped in a storm and was hit by the rubble that was blown away with him.

“That sword is really strong!”

His body started glowing.

“Character Change: Gunner!”

His appearance completely changed. His body became a bit more muscular, his skin darkened like he got a tan, his hair grew wild, and tattoos of twin revolvers appeared on his shoulders. He was wearing a military style uniform with ammo strung up across his chest in the shape of an X, combat boots, and guards. He stretched his hand out and a bazooka appeared in his hand.

“Special Move: Hell Bazooka!”

*BAM*

A powerful blast of flames caused a massive explosion and dissipated the storm.

“Your sword is strong but I want to fight you when you’re using your own strength!”

Ace’s bazooka suddenly transformed into a canon in front of him.

“Special Move: Autocannon Rapid Fire!”

*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*

Jin’s eyes widen as dozens of explosive shells were heading towards him.

“Kusa-”

Before he could swing his sword it was shot out of his hand. He looked and saw Ace with a sniper rifle in his hand.

“Shit!”

Jin cursed as the shells exploded around him causing him to be swallowed by flames. When the flames faded Ace could see a ball of black flames in the sky. The flames disappeared and Jin appeared without a scratch on him.

“I heard that you had multiple Inborn Abilities just like Hina, those black flames must be one of them.”

Ace said. Jin had a furious look on his face.

“My kusangi…I cant believe you made me lose it.”

Black flames started dancing around Jin as he glared at Ace.

“You’ll pay for that.”

“Hahaha! Bitch, you don’t have what to takes.”

Jin shot towards Ace like a rocket with the flames dancing around him. Ace switched back to his Brawler Character and then transformed himself into a molten monster and ran to meet jin’s charge. The moment they were in range of each other the two threw punches simultaneously.

*BAM!*

A thunderous sound echoed through the area and black flames and magma danced around them. Jin kicked Ace under his chin and lifted him off the ground before slamming his palms on his chest.

“Makoto Tactics: Exploding Palms!”

A powerful force burst through Ace’s body and tore a hole in his clothes and destroyed his molten skin. Ace swung his head back and then headbutt Jin with everything he had. Jin stumbled back a bit before he was hit with an uppercut from Ace. He clenched his teeth and hit Ace with a flaming hook. Ace nearly got forced to the ground after getting punched but he held his ground and hit Jin with a body blow. A sizzling sound came from where Jin was punched and his skin was burnt.

“This bastard!”

He shouted and hit Ace with another hook. Black flames appeared on the sides of Ace’s face where he was punched, but it didn’t seem to affect him.

(As I thought, his molten body isn’t affected by my Midnight Flames. If it wasn’t for that I could’ve shown him hell by now.)

Jin became visibly frustrated as he took a step forward and hit Ace in the face with a straight and forced his head back. Ace replied by kicking him in his unguarded side before stopping himself from falling. Jin groaned and then threw a punch that stopped a few inches away from Ace’s face.

“Flashpoint!”

*BAM!*

A golden light swoll up and burst in front of Ace propelling back with a bloody face and torso. Jin chased after him and golden chains burst from underneath the ground and wrapped themselves around Ace.

“Makoto Tactics: Absolute Restraint!”

Jin then leaped into the air and stomped Ace into the ground so hard a crater formed underneath him.

“F-Full Body Boost!”

Ace’s body started glowing and his body grew and burst out of the chains. He immediately had to dive to the side to avoid getting kicked in the face. He quickly got to his feet and jumped over a flying drop kick. Jin landed on his feet and spun around to throw a punch but was flatten with a kick from Ace before he could.

“Ugh!”

Ace held his stomach and groaned.

“That stomp earlier really did a number…”

“Oh, really.”

Jin stepped in the side of his face while he was distracted and forced back to the ground.

“There, now your face hurts too.”

Jin was breathing heavily and his vision was becoming blurry.

(This bastard….This form has high defensive capabilities and can halfen the damage I take from attacks, and yet I’m in this much pain…His brute strength isn’t any worse than Shòu’s.)

“I better kill him here before he becomes a bigger threat to Bloom.”

Jin was about to continue his fight with Ace when his body froze. His face suddenly became pale and his body started trembling. He quickly spun around and shouted-

“Bloom?!”

At same time, Bloom was falling out of the sky with blood gushing out of a large cut across her torso. Her eyes were dull but shock was all over her face as her body hit the cold concrete and a pool of blood formed under her. She couldn’t process what happened in the last few seconds for her to suddenly reach death’s door.
