It was a bright morning in the Kaido and Hana’s household. Hana was smiling and Kaido was enjoying her meal and her company, it was a perfect morning.

“Wassup!”

That’s when an intruder shattered the harmony they built with a loud greeting. It goes without saying that this intruder was none other than Miko.

“Hello, Miko. You’re alone today.”

Hana happily greeted Miko while Kaido continued to eat his breakfast.

“…….”

“…What? Why are you staring at me?”

“Ah, I just found it strange. I thought that you would look more upset but you’re mood hasn’t change…..It’s a bit creepy.”

Miko said with a disgusted face.

“You’re all smiles when I’m upset with your visits but now I’m okay with them and you find it unpleasant?”

“Yeah.”

“You’re not even trying to hide your sadistic side are you?”

Miko sat down at the table and Hana placed a plate of food in front of him.

“So what’s the reason for your visit? I can tell that it isn’t to hang out from the fact that you’re alone.”

Hana took a seat next to Kaido after speaking.

“Well, I’ll get to the point. I want to know more about Bloom.”

“Does this have something to do with you spending a lot of time with her this past week?”

Hana’s eyes sparkled with excitement.

“It does.”

“Oh!”

She stood up and bang her hands on the table.

“Are you two dating? Or are you courting her?!”

“Calm down.”

Kaido pulled her back into her seat.

“Sorry. She gets really excited when it comes to romance.”

Hana sat silently with her face completely red.

“To answer your questions, we’re not dating. Also, I don’t plan on courting her either. I have some women back home who would strangle me to death if I did.”

“Then why do you want to know more about her?”

“She’s my ally…No, that’s a halfassed answer. I find her fascinating and wish to know more about her.”

“So you do have a crush on her?”

Hana became excited again and had to restrained by Kaido.

“A crush huh? I honestly can’t say whether or not I have one. I mean, I do find her attractive.”

With every word Miko spoke the brighter Hana’s face became.

“More importantly, I have no ill intentions. I’m just curious. I won’t ask for her weaknesses, I just want what you two think of her.”

“What I think of Bloom?”

Kaido pondered for a bit before putting on a pained face.

“She’s a wicked woman.”

Miko’s eyes widened when he heard the answer.

“When we first met she beat me to an inch of my life and then kidnapped the two of us and brought us here. She then preceded to criticize everything I did and even punished me for it. Just when I was starting to adjust and was enjoying my life here, she shipped me away to Grim Academy away from Hana. At that same academy, I was tasked with recruiting allies causing me to get involved with maniacs like Tang Xian. She’s the devil, I tell ya.”

“….Sounds like you had it rough.”

“You don’t know the half of it.”

Miko looked away from the fuming Kaido and at Hana.

“What about you?”

“Hmm….Fragile, insecure, under a lot of pressure. Basically I think she’s just an ordinary girl who was thrown into an unordinary situation.”

“Oh?”

Miko looked at hana with a weird look before smiling.

“I see. That helps a lot.”

“It does?”

Miko nodded.

“It cleared up the doubts I was having.”

He then started to happily eat the food in front of him to the confusion of Kaido and Hana.

Sometime later, Miko left the home of Kaido and Hana and was walking by himself.

(I wanted to eat too!)

Ishma started complaining in his head. She and Regis were in their glove forms on Miko’s hands; forms which they rarely take.

“I’ll buy you something later. That was an important conversation so I wanted to do it alone.”

(What’s your plans now? Are you going to Bloom’s place?)

Regis asked in his mind.

“Nah. I can’t smother her. There’s a chance that she’ll find me too overbearing. I have give her space and time to think. If she comes to miss me during that time then that would be great.”

(You sound like a true player.)

Miko chuckled. He walked for a bit before stopping.

“Tia, you’re listening right?”

(Yeah.)

“Tell Momo that I’ll be back a little later.”

He turned around with a smile.

“I appear to have a guest.”

Standing in front of him was a woman that embodied savagery in its purest form, Natasa Kingsley. She showed a fanged smile.

“Yo, you’re Miko aren’t you?”

“Well, this is a problem. Could it be that my disguise isn’t worth anything anymore?”

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

Miko grinned while inspecting her from head to toe.

“I see. You’re Natasa Kingsley.”

“How can you tell?”

“Scent, I guess.”

Miko’s eyes became slit and cold like a reptile’s and his teeth looked sharper.

“We have the same scent, the scent of a mad beast.”

“Oh?”

Natasa’s feline eyes became fierce like that of a lion’s.

“And here I thought I was the only the one who thought so.”

The two stared at each other in silence, creating a stifling atmosphere.

“Ishma, Regis…Stay out of this.”

“Telling your swords to leave this to you? Heh, aren’t you arrogant?”

Despite speaking only a few words—No! All it took was for their eyes to meet, and the two knew what had to happen.

A battle to the death!

“Ha!”

The two charged at each other simultaneously. Fire surrounded the two as they clenched their fists and threw a punch.

*BAM!*

A burst of flames erupted between them and spread to the surroundings.

“Ahhh?!”

People were caught up in it and suffered severe burns. As for Miko and Natasa, they were blown away from the force they created. Natasa ran towards Miko with a mad laugh and jumped off a street pole and then a building and then quickly circled around Miko, who spun around with flames surrounding his fists and threw a punch at her. To Miko’s surprise she twisted her body in the air and avoid the flames and punched Miko square in the face.

*Bam!*

Miko’s body hit the floor and bounced after bursting open the asphalt. Natasa lifted her leg overhead and slammed her heel on Miko’s torso. She grinned and lifted him off the ground with her foot and then swung her leg like a whip.

“!”

Miko suddenly grabbed her leg the moment it came in contact with him and spun his body, flinging Natasa in the process. Her body bounced off the ground while Miko awkwardly fell to the ground. He quickly got up and tackled Natasa before she could fully get to her feet and forced her through a wall. Once they were inside the building, Natasa threw a punch at Miko, who evaded it by bending backwards. He sprung up and headbutt her causing her to stumble back.

“…….”

Natasa stopped and wiped away the hot liquid that was flowing down her face. After seeing that it was her blood she smiled and licked her hand clean before grinning at Miko.

“Looks like I’m gonna enjoy this.”

Meanwhile on the streets.

“What’s happening?!”

A couple vehicles filled with police officers pulled up to the scene.

“Officers, help! Two people are fighting and running amok!”

Seeing the police, people immediately pleaded for their help.

“Wait. Calm-”

*Boom!*

A thundering sound interrupted the officer. They looked and saw a gigantic flaming tiger burst out of a building. On a closer look, they realized that it was trying to devour a boy who was trying to stop it with his bare hands. The boy gave up and distanced himself from the tiger and landed on the top of a building. The tiger chased after him and rammed into the building causing it to crumble.

*Roar!*

A loud roar resounded and then suddenly a water dragon pierced through the tiger and forced a girl out of it. The boy emerged from the water dragon and took a deep breath before firing a blast of water at the girl, which blast her through several buildings and into a different block.

“W-What the hell is happening?”

The police officers were shocked.

“Get your equipment ready. We need to restrain them.”

The one who seem like the leader ordered his subordinates before turning around to head to his vehicle.

“Captain, look out!”

“Huh?”

*Boom!*

The captain heard a loud sound and saw his vehicle thrown into the air after something crashed into it.

“Wha?!”

“….That bitch is pretty tough.”

He saw the boy stand up and tore the torn up shirt that he was wearing. He cracked his neck with a grin on his face.

“Huh?”

Miko looked at the officer who was looking at him with shock. He immediately felt the urge to crush him like the ant he was. That’s when he realized that his symptoms had started to influence his actions.

“Haha.”

Even so, he didn’t care.

“I’m having fun right now.”

He smiled when he saw a trailer flying towards him.

“It’s the same for you too, right?!”

He leaped into the air and kicked the trailer’s head and sent it flying who knows where. Natasa came from the trailer with her fists clenched.

“Come at me, you crazy bitch!”

Meanwhile, at the Silver Nest.

“What?!”

Bloom stood up from her desk after hearing the report she got from her secretary.

“They’re fighting downtown and causing mayhem. The police force wants to intervene with anti-terrorist equipment. Should I give them the go ahead?”

Bloom clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

“Send in Kaido! Tell him to restrain Miko at all cost!”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Miko clenched his fist and exchanged punches to the face with natasa. He stumbled back and blocked a roundhouse kick with his arm and then hit Natasa with an uppercut. As if unfazed, Natasa slashed him across the chest with her claws. Blood gushed out of Miko’s wounds and splashed on her face. Miko retaliated with a knee to the side of her face and forced her to the ground. By this time most of his body was stained with blood and he was covered in wounds.

“Hahaha!”

Even so he let out a joyous laugh.

“Stand up, crazy bitch! I’m still getting warmed up!”

Natasa sprung to her feet and laughed as well.

“This is great. I honestly thought that you’d be dead already but you’re as energetic as when we just started.”

Natasa cracked her fingers, unfazed by the blood flowing into her eyes.

“This is great. I guess I can get a bit serious with you.”

Suddenly her body released an explosive aura. Her eyes started glowing and her muscles started tensing up.

“Don’t Die too quickly on me now.”

She took a step forward and the ground started bursting open.

“?!”

Miko’s body tensed up and he suddenly felt like he was at the ocean floor. His entire body felt heavy and it hurt to even to breath.

“H-Hahaha! This is great!”

He was smiling from ear to ear.

“She’s the real thing. The type of opponent you just want to forget about all of your formal training and swing at without care.”

The smile slowly fell from his face and his eyes became unfocused.

“Hm?”

Natasa froze when she saw the expressionless look on Miko’s face. She could then see multiple auras coming from his body. Crimson, azure, purple, green, black, the colors interchanging created the scene of Miko having a rainbow colored aura.

(….Each aura has a different nature? Did he get overexcited and released them all at once on accident?)

She got a strange feeling coming from Miko.

“….I see. It’s like what happened to me..”

She smirked.

“He’s reaching enlightenment while fighting. In other words, Mind Zero.”

She burst out laughing.

“You really something! You’re the first one I’ve met who can do that besides me!”

“……..”

“Ah, that’s right. You’re too focused to hear me.”

She started walking towards Miko and he started to do the same as if it was reflex.

“Absorb and improve as much as you need. I’m sure it’ll make this a lot more fun.”

“No.”

That’s when someone appeared between them. It was Kaido.

“This stops here.”
