Miko and the girls arrived at their hotel which was called PinkBerry. When they exited the car, it drove away and seemingly went back to its owner.

“Remind me to buy one of those.”

Miko said.

“Now seeing all of these fancy vehicles, I regret not bringing my Silver Chariot.”

“That bike is luxurious even by this city’s standards. So it was a good choice to leave it.”

Momo said. They entered the hotel and instantly drew the attention of those in the lobby. The reason was because of their good looks. Tiamat was a literally goddess, Regis and Miko looked exactly like her, Momo was her descendent so she was naturally blessed with good looks, and Ishma was daughter of Lucifer who was known for his beauty. So it goes without saying that they all possessed shocking good looks.

“Hello. May I help you?”

A hotel employee approached with a bright and welcoming smile on her face.

“Yeah. We’re here to check into our rooms. We’re the Azadi Family of five.”

Miko explained.

“Ah, Mr.Azadi. We’ve been expecting you. Right this way.”

The employee led Miko and the girls to the reception desk so that they could check in.

“Azadi?”

Momo asked while they were waiting in an elevator to reach their floor.

“It means freedom. Nice, right?”

“Why didn’t you use Dragna? Bloom already knows where we’re staying.”

“It’s fine if Bloom and her people knows we’re here, but I don’t want the public to know I’m here yet.”

“Why?”

“Because it will ruin the fun.”

The elevator door opened and they walked out.

“There’s also the fact that I want to move freely until I’ve made my decision. I can’t do that if everyone’s watching my every move.”

“Then you’ll have disguise yourself. After the Dragon Storm incident a lot more people should be familiar with your face. Also, Gramps and Uncle Nova are famous Deiciders. Everyone knows their face.”

“Of course I intend to do that.”

They arrived at their room door and Miko opened it and they all went in.

“Hello.”

When they entered they were greeted by a group of people headed by a fair skinned man with curly brown hair and was dressed in a fancy suit.

Expect Momo, Miko’s group weren’t surprise to see them.

“Who are these people?”

Momo asked.

“Lucio Silva. He’s a fashion designer I met and kind of convinced to try and kill the First Lady of Dale.”

Lucio smiled wryly at Miko’s introduction.

“We liked his work and decided to hire him as our personal designer. I sent him and his team here about a year ago before I entered the Ruined World with you all, to set up shop and be ready for my arrival. They can provide us with the information that they’ve collected the past year while making us look sharp.”

Miko explained.

“So you sent spies while you were preparing to take on Tang Xian? That’s impressive.”

Momo praised.

“So, Lucio. What do you have for me today?”

“I have information about a reported rift between Bloom Newgate and the Four Pillars. There’s a rumor that they might try to overthrow her in the future.”

“I see. What about talented people I told you to keep an eye out for?”

“I’ve composed a list of people who my clients said to be great talents from various fields. I can give it to you whenever you want.”

“Alright. Keep it for now. Right now, I’m in the mood to go out.”

Miko snapped his fingers and pointed at Lucio.

“I’m looking forward to your new designs. Don’t let me down, Lucio!”

“Yes, sir. We’ll dress you and these beautiful women to the best of our abilities.”

Lucio and his team did as they promised and dressed Miko and the girls to the best of their abilities.

“Oh? Now this is a great look.”

Tia said while standing in front of a mirror. She was wearing a pair of light blue jeans, white stiletto heels, a white blouse that was tucked in her pants, a silver necklace around her neck and a light blue lace coat.

“I’ve never wore anything like this….I like it.”

Tia was all smiles.

“Mama, how do I look?”

Regis walked up Tia and asked. She was wearing a frill black dress with white flower designs on it. She wore black flats and had a white purse in her hand.

“You cute, Regis.”

Regis nodded with a happy expression.

“Hahaha! I look the best! There’s no competition!”

Ishma walked in the room and declared triumphantly. She was dressed in black jeans that were ripped at the knees, green and black sneakers, a green jacket, black undershirt, and a hat on her head. Her style screamed tomboy.

“You’ve learned your lesson since the last time.”

She spoke to one of Lucio’s employees. Back in Dale, Ishma and that same employee got into an argument over her wanting to wear male clothes.

“I compromised and went for a punk rock look. I knew you would like it.”

Ishma gave the man a thumbs up and he gave her one back.

“I gotta admit this is nice.”

Momo said. She was in her adult form and was wearing a pair of skin tight jeans that showed off her hips, a pair black high zip-up boots, a cream turtleneck blouse and a stylish black leather jacket.

“I was told that you had a great figure but when I saw your child form I was skeptical but seeing your true form, I’m amazed by how good you look.”

Lucio praised Momo wholeheartedly.

“She does look good.”

Miko stood beside Momo and said. He was wearing a pair of dark blue jeans, black shoes, black t-shirt with a necklace around his neck, and a dark blue blazer. But it wasn’t his clothes that stood out the most, it was his physical appearance. He had dark skin, red eyes, a devilishly handsome face, and black hair that was styled to have a wet look.

“Are you okay constantly staying in your Dark Lord form?”

Tia asked. Miko’s current appearance was due to Ascending Satan technique, the First Gate- Dark Lord.

“I’m fine. I tuned it down so that people won’t feel fear in my presence, so I’m barely tapping into the power. You can even say that the first gate is only cracked, not fully opened.”

Miko said.

“So this is how you plan to disguise yourself? How long can you maintain it?”

“A couple days I guess. I’ve mastered this form already. Although, I really can’t afford to miss any of daily dosages for the pills Alexis created for him. Otherwise, I might lose control.”

Miko explained.

“Anyway, Enough talk. We’re going to party people!”

Miko got a rental from the hotel and they all went on a drive through the city.

“As I thought, the city is more beautiful at night.”

Momo’s eyes sparkled under the effect of all the neon lights from the buildings and signs they past.

“So where are we going?”

Tia, who was in the passenger seat asked Miko who was in the drivers seat.”

“I have no idea. Gimme a sec.”

He pressed a button on the steering and spoke.

“What are the most popular party spots near me?”

(The nearest one is a club called Le Nuit. It’s a hotspot for the rich and wealthy to enjoy themselves by cutting loose.)

“Rich and wealth? I’ll past. Those people tend to be annoying. Any other recommendation?”

“Wait, let’s go there Miko.”

Tia said.

“Why?”

“I’m sure it’ll be fun to see how the high class in this country behave. Also, you might meet someone interesting there.”

“Hmm…Alright. Car, head for Le Nuit.”

The steering moved and the car started heading where it was ordered. The car stopped in from of a two story building with the words Le Nuit written in cursive on the building. Miko saw valets parking all kinds of luxurious cars, and people wearing stylish clothes entering the building. Miko parked the car and they all exited it together. The valet and some of surrounding people paused when they saw them. Miko handed over the keys to the valet with a smile and walked into the building with the girls behind him.

“Who were those people?”

A valet asked his coworker who received the car keys from Miko.

“I don’t know but I have a feeling something exciting is going to happen tonight.”

Earlier that same day in the Dragna empire. With Miko acting as a vanguard and going ahead to the Newgate Country, his allies were preparing themselves for a possible battle by training themselves in the Flameheart Residence.

A loud sound rung out when Hina and Sora took each other on in a clash of fists. Hina took a step and threw a low punch at Sora’s stomach, her fist didn’t hit its mark as Sora moved back so fast that he left an afterimage. He took a step towards her and he appeared in front of her like a ghost. He struck his hand out and tap her forehead with his fist.

*Bam!*

Hina’s head was blown back and she almost fell on her butt.

“And you’re dead.”

Sora said with a laugh.

“Why did you pull your punch? I was wide open.”

Hina had a frown on her face and a red mark on her head.

“True, but this is a spar. There’s no need to hit you with everything I got.”

“No, it must feel like I’m in a life and death battle or it has no meaning.”

Sora placed his hand on Hina’s head and smiled.

“If you’re asking me to fight you like I want to kill you then I can’t do that. Besides, we’re only doing training to increase your physical prowess in your base form. You don’t need to get so worked up.”

“I want a different training partner!”

Hina shouted to Sora’s shock. She turned around and looked at Luka who was sitting on a boulder and staring in the sky.

“Luka spar with me.”

“I can’t. I’m mediating on everything I learnt from Lord Joesph yesterday.”

Luka closed her eyes and started to focus.

“I still don’t get why we can’t take a day off. I’m exhausted.”

Ace complained while laying on a boulder with sweat dripping off his body.

“Ace, it’s my turn to spar with you.”

Robin, who was Luka’s #1 Apostle, approached Ace while cracking his knuckles.

“Already?! Give me a break, Luka! Why do I have to fight all of your apostles everyday?!”

“Because your Boost Player allows you to become various type of fighters. It will give them valuable experience.”

Luka answered while keeping her eyes closed.

“That doesn’t mean that I have to be their training dummy!”

“Well, I’m taking them to the Newgate Country the moment Miko gives the signal. I don’t know what kind of opponents we’ll face down there, so I need them to get as strong as possible before then.”

She opened one eye.

“Knowing Miko, he’ll definitely get into trouble and call us saying prepare for a war.”

“…..Is it strange that I can totally see that happening? Because I think there’s something wrong about that.”

Ace said.

“Of course there’s something wrong with it. It shows that Miko is a warmonger and we all know it.”

Luka complained.

“The moment he woke up he’s already thinking about the next battle. There’s no breaks with that guy.”

“Well, it’s true that we’ve been in a lot battles since we joined him…”

Sora said.

“Life is a never ending battle…I’m sure that’s what Miko would say if he was here.”

Hina said. Luka nodded.

“Well, it’s just a part of his character so there’s no using complaining now. We should just prepare for the inevitable war in the near future.”

If Miko was here he would feel offended by how everyone saw him.

“In the last six months he’s been out, we recovered from our injuries and started training like mad men. Why? Because we all felt like we could’ve done better during that Battle Royale. No one walked away without a serious injury.”

Luka clenched her fist.

“This shows that we still have a long way to go if we want to keep ourselves and Miko alive in this hellish battle for the throne. So we have to give it our all and some to getting stronger, which is why by the time we’re called we need to be far far more stronger than ever.”

“Argh! Fine!”

Ace got off the boulder and started walking away.

“Follow me, Robin. I won’t be going easy on you.”

“Of course.”

Robin left with Ace which caused Luka to smile and closed her eyes again. She then frowned after a few seconds.

“I seriously hope that he can stay out of trouble this time around.”
