Dragna Empire, Tertitus Branch.

“Get them to the emergency sector. ASAP.”

Alexus, the leader of the Tertitus Branch ordered his subordinates to take Sasha, Leon, and Miko to be treated.

“What about Momo?”

“Her injuries are bad but they can heal on their own. We can’t afford to waste any resources and time, so place her in a recovery pod for the time being and monitor her vitals. If her condition shows signs of worsening for any reason then come get me.”

“Aye!”

As ordered, Momo was taken somewhere else.

“Alexus, are you going to start operating on them?”

Kimiko asked with a worried expression.

“I will but considering the amount of injured from this battle Alec, Kirika, and Gizmo will have to handle the rest while I take care of those three.”

“Won’t it be too much on you? Can you seriously treat them all by yourself?”

“No need to worry.”

Kimiko turned and saw a young teenage boy with purple and azure hair and the dragna trademark blue eyes walk in the room. He had a lazy look on his face and gave off an aloof air.

“I’ll be helping my father.”

Said the boy. Kimiko was shocked to see him.

“When did you return, Alexis?”

“During the battle, but everyone was too busy to notice.”

“I see. You’ll be great help.”

Kimiko was genuinely happy to see the boy. Alexus nodded and then started heading towards Miko’s location.

“Come, son. We have a lot of work ahead of us.”

“Yes, Father.”

Somewhere on the Silver Continent, Kaido Khan was sitting in a vehicle watching something that was being project from his smartwatch. It was the battle between Miko and Tang. He watched with a sharp gaze as if he didn’t want to miss any details.

“Hm?”

It was while he was watching it that a caller ID popped on the screen. He answered the call right away.

(Yo, are you rewatching Miko and Tang Xian’s battle?)

A cheerful voice came from the other side of the call.

“How did you know?”

(Because I watched the battle and I know that it’ll leave an impression on a battle freak like yourself.)

Kaido heard a cheerful laugh and couldn’t help but to smile.

“Bloom, the reason you told me to stay back and watch their fight…”

(It’s because I wanted you to experience humility. I was sure that their battle would blow you out the water and make you re-examine yourself. Well, did it?)

“It did.”

(So do you still think you can defeat the both of them?)

“I do.”

(……..)

Silence came from Bloom’s end. Seeing that, Kaido smiled.

“But I’d have to break my limits to do so which I’m certain I can do.”

Kaido heard a sigh.

(Well, I guess I’ll take that. Confidence is a good thing after all. But remember Kaido, too much confidence is a bad thing. Do I need to remind you that you lost to me because you were overconfident.”

“Ahem….Let’s not bring up the past, Bloom. I was young and naïve then.”

Bloom’s laughter filled the vehicle.

(Anyway, you should know your next assignment from here.)

Kaido nodded.

“Once Miko has recovered from his battle I’ll invite him to the Newgate Country. He seemed interested, so I’m sure he won’t decline.”

(That’s good to hear.)

Kaido nodded.

“By the way, is Hana near you?”

(No, she’s probably out with Sapphire and Chrome, but Jin is here. If you guys wanna talk then-)

Kaido immediately cut off the call and sat back in his seat.

“Today’s a good day. Why would I ruin it with that bastard’s voice?”

He then resumed to watching Miko’s battle.

*******

Somewhere in the world.

*Bam!*

A explosive sound rung out in a wasteland that was filled with craters and seas of lava. Two persons were in this place, one laying on the ground and the other standing over them.

“Looks like we reach the end of your road, Principal Matters.”

Tiana Draxler smirked as she looked down on Matters who had several missing limbs and was bleeding from all over. Tiana had a few wounds herself but nothing too serious.

“I knew that you were a monster but this is something else. I can’t believe that I failed to assassinate someone.”

Matters had a bitter smile on his face.

“But I’m impressed. The rumors that you could not only imitate a person’s appearance but their fighting style and skills perfectly were true. It felt like I was fighting a thousand different people rather than one.”

“And yet, you defeated them all.”

“And yet, I defeated them all. Aren’t I awesome?”

Tiana laughed. She stooped down in front of Matters with a bewitching smile.

“So, who sent you after me? Was it the Black Joker or the Red Joker? Or maybe because it’s something this important they both made the decision?”

“Does it matter? Win or lose we’ve made our stance clear.”

Matters showed a wild grin.

“We won’t bow down to you. If you want us, you’ll have to kill us all and take our corpses along with you.”

Tiana smiled.

“What fearless words and conviction. As I would expect from the legendary band of mercenaries.”

She stood up.

“It’s a shame though, Principal…”

She shook her head.

“There’s no reason to call you that is there. It’s a shame, Nil. You’re the legendary Proxy who took the ambiguous powers of Robin Hood and turned it into a godly existence. We would gladly have someone like you in our ranks. Not just you, the entirety of the Juggernauts are filled with legendary characters. If you had joined us we would have a blast.”

“The Trumps fold to no one.”

“I guess so.”

“But don’t think you’ve won, Tiana Draxler. Or should I say Grim?”

Tiana’s eyes widen a bit. Nil continued.

“The legendary figure that led rebellions after rebellions and even convinced twenty countries to come together and build Grim Academy, that was you.”

“My, now this is surprising. I took the form of a masked man back then. I’m curious as to how you know.”

“You people aren’t the only ones with their own information network.”

Nil laughed.

“To think that you would return to the academy you built a thousand years later as a teacher.”

“That’s enough out of you.”

Tiana swung her hand and Nil was vertically cut in two. She was left alone in the wasteland with a smile on her face.

“The Juggernauts are more impressive than I thought.”

She took out a phone and made a call.

(Sup.)

A male voice came from the other end of the phone.

“Ringo, guess who I just got rid of?”

(Nil.)

“Yup. He told me something interesting before he died. He knew of my days as Grim.”

(Oh? Now that’s surprising. Does he know that you’re Noah? Because if he did then I would be seriously frightened.)

Noah, just like Ringo/Klick, he is a prominent member of the New Era. He leads the mysterious Genesis; which according to Ringo and Kylian, the strongest dragon proxy, created a new race that possessed the traits of Gods, Demons, Beasts, and Humans alike. The perfect race. He was also the only one said to be able to control Kylian, was also the mysterious Grim, and whose true identity was Tiana Draxler.

“Nah, they just know that I’m a member of New Era, I doubt they know I’m one of the leaders.”

Tiana chuckled.

(I see. So you got to meet Miko, right? How was it, meeting a Satan like yourself?)

“It was rather interesting. Especially when I found out that old snake was inside him.”

(Samael? Now that’s surprising. Did you say hello?)

“Never wanted to, and even if I did I doubt he would want to meet me in his weaken state. I would just mock him after all.”

(What a cruel daughter you are.)

Ringo laughed as well.

“Besides, unlike Miko, my father, and my uncle, I’m a second generation Satan. Those three are progenitors who can create satanic bloodlines. I can’t compare.”

(Well, you’re still a pure breed, so you should be proud.)

Tiana smiled.

“By the way, what did you think of your children? They all won their battles.”

(Only as expected. Who you think chose them?)

Ringo sounded incredibly arrogant.

“So are you ready to take them back?”

(Nah. Let them be for the time being. Staying around a Satan like Miko will be beneficial for their growth. Once I feel like the time is right, ill welcome the three of them into New Era.)

“I have no prob-”

Tiana suddenly stopped talking.

(What happened?)

She smiled.

“Oh, nothing. I just learnt why Trumps are called wildcards.”

*******

Several miles away from where Tiana was talking to Ringo, a shadowy figure appeared out of nowhere breathing heavily. The shadows disappeared and the person underneath was shown to be Principal Matters—No, Nil.

“Crazy bitch. I bet you didn’t expect that I had multiple lives for every identity I take.”

He laughed and took out a phone.

“Yo, Boss.”

He smiled.

“I made contact with New Era.”

********

Nebulous City, Renacido. Layla Song was sitting in her office attending to the reconstruction documents in front of her. After Klaus invaded Renacido for a while, it left quite a few areas destroyed and needing of repairs.

“Boss Lady.”

Oden walked in with some envelopes in his hand.

“More letters from countries and organizations who want to work with us have arrived.”

“More? I knew that Miko defeating Dragon Storm would bring Renacido fame but this is more than I expected.”

She thought about it for a bit.

“It seems that a lot of people sees the potential in us and wants to hop on our train while they can.”

“Opportunists, all of them.”

Oden said with displeasure.

“It doesn’t matter. We’re going to capitalize on this and strengthen Renacido even more. We’ll make it in a global powerhouse greater than Dragon Storm ever was.”

She laughed.

“I see, you do that. More importantly, any updates on the Don?”

“Miko’s still in a coma along with his parents. Everyone else have already healed from their injuries but theirs were too severe. They’ll remain in intensive care for a while.”

“I see….We don’t even get to celebrate his victory.”

“We will. We just have wait.”

*********

Dragna City.

Miko was inside a large tank of medical fluids with several wires and tubes attached to his body.

“Three months and still no signs of waking up.”

Alec said while looking at Miko’s data.

“I’ve always thought that Miko was a special specimen but this is beyond my expectations.”

Alexis said while also looking at Miko’s data.

“Father, since it’s you I’m sure you can predict how Miko will evolve in the future….”

Alec said to Alexis. Yes, the boy who looked like he was younger than Miko was actually the father of Alec and Kirika as well as one of the most brilliant minds in the clan.

“I can predict it.”

“And?”

“He’ll bring destruction to the world. That’s it.”

“You’re certain?”

“Didn’t you come to same conclusion?”

Alec didn’t answer. Alexis continued.

“Miko is a Satan which is a being that ranks above all other dark races. If it was that alone then it wouldn’t have been a problem, but Miko is an Irregular which means his existence comes from a force that defies the laws of the very universe. This means that he’s different from a normal Satan, if there’s such a thing. Anyway, he’s a progenitor or a True Satan like his Irregular title indicts.”

“Progenitor?”

“Yes. A parent/founder if you will. In history, there have been only two True Satans which means there are only two satanic bloodlines. Samael’s bloodline and Devoro’s bloodline. Miko has the ability to create a third bloodline unique to itself. In simpler terms, he has the potential to create a new race of evil and destructive beings. Not only that, just like his predecessors he’s destiny to try and destroy the world and all its inhabitants.”

“Can’t he resist?”

Alexis shook his head.

“It’s in his DNA. Also…”

“Also?”

“Also, who says that he wants to resist?”

*********

Inside the tank, Miko may seem unconscious but in reality his mind was very active. Numerous scenes were flashing in his mind as he slept. He didn’t know if these were memories of those millions of years ago but to Miko it was like he was watching the world from the dawn of time and was experiencing the countless eras. At times, he felt like he was even seeing in the future. It didn’t take long before he had completely lost his sense of self going back and forth through the various eras, and this continued for a very long time.

It was now six months after the battle with Tang. A long haired Miko was floating in the tank in silence. No one else was in the room, only him.

“……..”

It was at this time he finally opened his eyes. In the dark room, Miko’s blue eyes shone brightly and looked like they could pierce through everything.

“……..”

Slowly the corners of his mouth moved and he smiled with his fangs bare. It was like this, he awakened and was ready for the next step in his never ending battle of a life. What awaits him? He didn’t know but he was excited to wreak havoc.
