Miko’s block had come to a close. In the end, five minutes wasn’t enough to decide the other 7 students so Miko went around and dominated the block leaving seven lucky students unharmed. After his block was finished Miko walked off the stage leaving over 100 students laying on the ground.

“Damn, your grandson is heartless and badass too.”

Tiana said to Kimiko.

“Don’t like him too much or she’ll have to kill you.”

Tia spoke with a teasing tone.

“Um….”

Momo lifted her hand.

“I still don’t know who Prof. Draxler really is.”

“If you’re asking about her true identity then it’s a mystery to me too.”

Tia replied.

“Even though she seemed to know you?”

“I’m a superstar even among the higher beings. It would be strange if she didn’t.”

Momo had an expression on her face that said that she didn’t buy it.

“I’m no one special. At the moment, I’m just a teacher who loves to see her kids blossom.”

Tiana answered.

“You seem to love your job too much.”

Kimiko said while looking at Miko walking off the stage. Tiana only smiled and continued to watch the show.

“Don’t you think you over did it?”

Hina asked Miko.

“Nah, I was just livening things up.”

He then looked at Luka who was watching her friends being carried off the stage in stretchers.

“Luka.”

“I know.”

Luka looked at Miko and smiled.

“I’ll be sure to whip them in shape.”

“Good. It won’t be fun if they aren’t stronger when they want a rematch.”

“I’ll be sure to tell them that.”

Miko nodded and then patted Sora’s shoulder.

“You’re up.”

Sora looked over at Kaido who had changed into his combat uniform. Miko pulled closer to him and whispered in his ear.

“I want you to use this opportunity to test him out. Which means I want you to fight him up and close. Can you do that?”

“That’s quite the request. What do I get in return?”

“You get to look good in front of your brother and sister.”

“That’s all?”

“Do you need anything else?”

Sora smiled.

“No, that’s more than enough.”

Meanwhile Kaido was getting ready to take the stage.

“Isn’t this perfect?”

He turned around and saw Tang smiling at him.

“What do you mean?”

“You get to test out another of Miko’s apostles. This way you’ll be able to assess the potential of his group. I’m jealous of Bloom Newgate for having such a dedicated and talent subordinate.”

“I’m sure you have your own share of talented people. There’s no need to be jealous.”

“When she has you and Jin Makoto how can I not be jealous?”

The look in Kaido’s eyes changed.

“You know about that bast- I mean you know Jin.”

“Yeah. I also know that you two also have a cat and dog relationship. I heard that it’s really bad.”

Kaido looked at him for a while and then turned his back to him.

“You have an impressive information network. Now, if you excuse me I have a block to win.”

“Alright. Be sure to fight for Hana’s sake as well.”

“?!”

Kaido turned around with shock but Tang wasn’t there. He looked around but couldn’t find him.

“As always, you really know how to show your fangs, Tang.”

After saying that he went onto the field. Sora soon walked onto the field along with over 100 other students.

“Now that everyone has taken the field, begin!”

Announcer’s voice signal the start of the next block.

“Now then…”

Sora took his headphone and placed it over his ear. He then snapped his fingers.

“1st Tempo.”

Sora immediately move through the crowd and head straight for his target. Kaido turned his head and saw Sora already near him.

“So he’s a speed type?”

He clenched his fist and threw a punch. In response, Sora thrust his palm forward.

“Resound!”

*Bam!*

Kaido’s fist clashed with an invisible force that was shot out of Sora’s palm and caused an explosive sound. The ground cracked open around and pieces of earth flew about.

“Now that’s a greeting.”

Miko said.

Kaido was surprise to see his punch stopped by Sora’s palm. He then saw Sora disappear from where he was. He spun around and threw another punch which clashed with Sora’s palm strike.

“You actually want to have fist fight with me?”

“That’s the orders I was given.”

“What a cruel boss.”

“Tell me about it!”

*Bam!*

An invisible force rushed out of Sora’s palm and blew back Kaido’s arm. Sora thrust his other palm at Kaido’s chest. Kaido lifted his knee and blocked the palm.

*Bam!*

Kaido successfully blocked the invisible force with his bare body.

“You really have impressive defenses.”

Sora ducked under a kick and was surprised by the force and sound it created.

“It’s like a plane just flew over my head.”

Sora once again distanced himself.

“I seriously might end up in a wheelchair if he gets a clean hit in. But Miko said that I should fight up close. Also I can’t picture myself beating him with speed alone.”

Sora smiled.

“I guess I’ll do that.”

He took off his headphone and threw it one side. A dark aura then started leaking out of his body.

“Black Sound Mode.”

“Hm?”

Kaido felt that something had changed in Sora.

“Dark Tempo!”

*Bam!*

Sora moved towards Kaido with a much slower speed than usual, but still created a tear in the earth when he moved.

“I can track this without focusing too hard.”

Kaido rushed towards him and threw a heavy punch.

*Bam!*

His fist was stopped by a black barrier.

“Black Sound Barrier plus Dark Tempo!”

“?!”

To Kaido’s surprise his body was being pushed back and his arm was starting to bend. He realized that if he didn’t relax his arm and pull it off the black barrier soon, it might break.

So he did that and braced himself for Sora’s tackle.

*Bam!*

It felt like he was trying to hold back a truck.

“Huh?”

Suddenly all the weight disappeared and he found himself falling forward. Sora appeared above him and thrust both palms down.

“Black Resonate!”

*BAM!*

An overwhelming force hit Kaido and forced him into the ground so hard he created a small crater.

“Guh?!”

Kaido groaned out in pain and blood was seen coming out of mouth.

“That Kaido is actually taking damage from someone who isn’t a Dragon Star?!”

“What?!”

Zora stood up in shock, he clearly couldn’t believe his eyes.

“Who is that guy?”

Even Klaus was shocked.

“Sora isn’t a power type fighter but a technique base fighter who has great fighting sense. He can’t be underestimated.”

Miko spoke with a proud tone.

“Ugh!”

Kaido quickly got to his feet and saw Sora aiming his palm at him.

“Black Beat!”

Black waves rushed out of Sora’s palm and charged towards Kaido, who moved out of the way to avoid it. This simple move once again shocked everyone, because Kaido would normally take any attack anyone threw at him. The only exception was when the attack was too much.

This meant he was afraid to take Sora’s attack head on.

Kaido rushed towards him with an impressive speed. Sora leaped back and placed his wrists against each other with his palms pointing at Kaido.

“Sonar Black Cannon!”

A black beam charged towards Kaido who threw a punch at it.

*Bam!*

He was overpowered and was blown back with his arm bleeding. He looked and saw Sora above him, thrusting his palm down. Kaido quickly crossed his arms in front of him to protect his chest.

*BAM!*

“Black Resound!”

Kaido was hit by an heavy force which slammed him into the ground so hard it cracked open when he bounced off it. Sora followed up with another palm strike.

*Bam!*

The second strike forced his arms apart and his chest was hit directly.

“Cough?!”

All the air was forced out of his body and pain swept all over him as he could feel his entire skeleton rattle.

“What the hell are you doing, Kaido?!”

Zora shouted angrily from the stands.

“Don’t let that guy beat you like that! Where’s your dragon pride?!”

His shouts felt like they could shake the stadium.

“That fucking hurt, you son of a bitch!”

Kaido suddenly roared.

“Huh?”

Under everyone’s shocked gaze he sat up with unusual vigor. He turned and looked at Sora. He glared at him and stood up.

“My entire body’s aching, you little shit!

“Is that Kaido?”

People were confused to hear Kaido speaking and behaving so vulgar.

“Hahahaha!”

Suddenly Zora started laughing.

“He’s starting to show his true colors.”

He grinned.

“The mad beast is starting show his fangs again.”

Kaido gathered his hair behind him and tie it into a pony tail and rip off his torn top and reveal his upper body.

“Woah.”

Sora was shocked to see Kaido’s body covered in old scars. He could tell that these were all from battles that happened ages ago.

“Oi.”

He looked up at Kaido’s face when he called out to him. He saw a pair of beastly eyes.

“Let’s do this again.”

He moved forward without delay. Sora thrust his palm out.

“Black Beat!”

Kaido rushed towards the black waves and showed no intention of avoiding them.

“Roar!”

A loud roar came from his body which was covered with a gold glow.

“Savage Fist!”

*Bam!*

His fist hit the black waves and caused them to halt. He then took a step forward and they all shattered before his fist.

“Wha??”

He charged towards the shocked Sora like a mad beast chasing his prey. An eerie medley started coming from Sora’s body.

“Black Medley!”

*Bam!*

Powerful compressed shockwaves fired at Kaido, one after the other.

“Get this shit out of here!”

Kaido roared and threw a barrage of punches.

*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*

He punched through the shockwaves and made his way to Sora, who thrust his two palms towards him.

“Black Resonate!”

*Bam!*

Kaido’s body was forced to bend back, but his feet remained planted.

“That’s nothing!”

Kaido threw a punch at Sora’s face. Sora leaped over it and hit Kaido with another palm strike. The palm hit Kaido square in the face, yet Kaido was able to grab Sora’s ankle. With a bloody face he swung Sora like a doll and then slammed him onto the ground.

“Ugh!”

Sora screamed out in pain. It felt like his skeleton was rearranged by being hit with a hammer.

Kaido lifted him over him and threw him up.

“B-Black Sound Barrier!”

Sora quickly Surrounded himself with a barrier. He fell into Kaido’s range and Kaido threw a punch.

“Savage Punch!”

*Bam!*

The punch scattered the barrier and slammed into Sora’s gut.

“Guh?!”

Sora’s body was blown across the field and bounced dozens of times before slamming into the barrier protecting the audience.

“Sora!”

All the color was drained from Hina’s skin after seeing what happened to Sora.

“Cough! Cough!”

Sora started coughing and wheezing while on the ground. Blood drained from his nose and mouth and his vision became blurry. To be honest, he found it hard to believe that he was still alive.

“Hey, don’t kick the bucket yet. We’re not done yet.”

Kaido started approaching him.

“Luka, what’s happening with Kaido?”

Miko asked as he watched on.

“You remember when I said that Kaido was like a storm when he just transferred here? That’s how he was. It looks like being overwhelmed by Sora made him snap. I don’t think he can control himself any more.”

Luka looked at Miko.

“Do you want stop him?”

“No, let Sora handle it.”

Miko smiled.

“The last thing he wants to do is to look lame in front of his siblings.”

Kaido approached Sora who was on all fours and was feeling pain all over his body. His body felt heavy, which didn’t fit him at all. He clenched his teeth and to got to his feet. Darkness started pouring from out of his body. The crest on his hand started glowing.

“I can only use this thanks to Miko’s chaotic powers.”

He placed his hand on head.

“Hypnotic Sound.”

A weird sound resound in his head and his mind became fuzzy for a bit. Suddenly his body felt light and he no longer felt pain.

“He added the chaotic trait to his sound magic and hypnotized himself to not feel pain.”

Tia explained.

“Now time for round three.”

Sora rushed towards Kaido, who did the same. Darkness covered his fists and he entered Kaido’s range.

*Bam!* *Bam!*

The two punched each other at the same time and was both forced to take a step back. They then took a step forward and punched each other again. The two quickly entered a brutal brawl with each other. Neither back down or showed any signs of falling. Every punch they threw was stronger than the last. This caused the crowd to go wild.

“Tsk.”

Surprisingly the one who seemed upset was Tiana.

“This isn’t what entertainment is about. I don’t want to see two kids killing each other. That’ll only leave a bad taste in my mouth.”

“I’m surprised. You have morals.”

Said Kimiko.

“Everyone has a line they don’t cross. For me it’s children.”

She answered seriously.

“The final 8 has been decided. Cease all fighting!”

The announcer’s voice echoed out. The moment they finished speaking Miko took the field.

*Bam!*

He took Sora’s and Kaido’s attacks and stood in between them.

“The fight’s over.”

He said. The two paused and looked at him. Sora fell forward and Miko caught him. He then immediately flung him over his shoulder.

He then looked at Kaido, who seemed apologetic.

“Hey, why the long face?”

Miko patted his shoulder.

“It’s a tournament so things like this are bound to happen. Besides, Sora could’ve forfeit but he chose to continue. So you’re not in the wrong. Besides, I didn’t feel any ill intentions between the two of you.”

“Still, I lost control.”

“To be honest, I liked you better when you’re wild and cursing than pampered and fake. You seemed more fun.”

After saying that, Miko started walking away.

“What if I had really tried to kill him?”

Kaido asked. Miko answered while looking back.

“I would’ve killed you before you could. It’s as simple as that.”

Hearing that Kaido smiled.

“I guess you’re right.”
