《Chronicles of Sora: Ruler of Rules》Chapter 24.2 - Boom!

Sora’s POV
Haah! That was too easy!
It bothers me that it was so easy.
I think I should be proud of myself. Those stupid soldiers must be looking all over for me right now.
I wonder if they even caught on to the fact a comrade of theirs is missing?
I am truly a genius. I am drowning in self-admiration this time I think I will allow it.
I just pulled off the impossible.
Am I cool or what?
I might be more narcissistic than I previously imagined.
Those suckers thought they had me trapped in their carriage.
LOL.
What idiot leaves two holes in carriage and doesn’t expect a slime not to escape.
It is their own fault for not confirm that I am 80% slime.
If I were in their shoes, I would be curious to see what lies behind those bandages. If they had only checked…they would have known I am a slime…it’s a good thing they didn’t….followed up by an ‘Oceans Elven’ move towards the end (thank god I watched that movie), I must say I got back all my organs and bones without a hitch.
I guess that leader lady of theirs is going to be going mad right now as she looks everywhere for me…. She was pretty good though….she did think of many interesting things…though in the end luck favoured me today and not her….
Hmmm….I wonder where I am….
“Hello? Anybody here?” Why are the streets so darn empty? How will I get to the inn if I don’t know the way?
I am so lost!
*Sigh*
Is it because of the rain? Is that why nobody is out?
It’s just too quite….even all the shops are closed….though it is night….do they have a curfew or something…
*Knock*Knock*
“Anyone inside? Hello?”

No response.
*Knock*Knock*
“Hello! I can see lights from your window!”
“Go away!” A woman cried out from the other side of the door.
I don’t understand her…
“I just need to know the directions!”
But I think she might understand me…
“GO AWAY!” This time a man yelled.
They sound scared….I wonder why….
Ah…I see someone…really pink hair….
“EXCUSE ME!!”
The girl with pink hair is looks in my direction. She has a playful and wilful look about herself. Her childish demeanour is the type that tells you this girl will be the bothersome one in the relationship.
The girl stares at me. I don’t think she can understand what I am saying…
“Que Estra!” She says something I don’t understand.
She is now gesturing that I come under the shade of the building rather than stand in the rain.
Finally a nice kind person willing enough to listen to me….albeit suspicious that the only person out on the streets on a rainy night is a girl with pink hair.
I walk up to her. 6/10 in the looks department. She appears to be a child….maybe thirteen no more than fifteen?
“I need directions to the ‘Jie Sak’?” If I remember right that’s what Gustav called the inn. It is supposed mean the Blue Rose.
“Jie Sak?” The girl looks at me excitedly.
Woah…she talks fast. She is giving a set of directions in a language I don’t understand.
I look at her with my confused expression.
I think she understands me.
She’s holding my hand…and guiding me?
Ah…to hold hands with a girl….soft hands….hmmmm….though her hands are not so soft….calluses everywhere….I wonder what work she does….life must be tough for these people living in the medial ages.
Does this woman not getting wet? I can see the clothes stick to her body….should I rank her up? 7/10?

We are dashing through streets, left, right, left, woah she’s fast.
What does she do for a living?
Now that I look at her, she has a really good figure.
Slender body, well-toned muscles…. 6/10 was a low score….I think I don’t like her pink hair…
Had it not been for my special eyes, I would not have been able to see the colour clearly at night…
Just how far is the inn?
Though this is not too bad….the change of pace.
I can’t believe everything I went through in the last few hours.
Fought met two devils, fought the secret police and now on the run.
It’s crazy if I think that all this happened in just one day.
If I stayed on for another day, what would happen?
The risks seem to be pretty high…I can see why adventurers didn’t stay in the Empire. With monster’s like those Cardinals everywhere, life would be difficult if not painful.
Just where is this woman taking me?
Should I trust her?
Normally, I wouldn’t trust anybody….but….there is no one else here that I can depend on.
This city is also so confusing. Why are the streets so curvy and all over the place?
Is it normal to be running this fast? I can keep up with this girl because I had been training for it…is she a normal civilian or a soldier…
If I look around I am certain she is taking me away from those guys (Erito forces)….
Oh wait, I recognize this park, it’s where the Abbe and I were having our discussion.
This means we are nearby.
I guess this girl is extra helpful, though still very suspicious….why was she out at night while it is pouring?
Was she waiting for her lover….no wait! I know!! She must be expecting some kind of reward for helping me out….I guess I should ask the Abbe to take care of that when I see him.
Thinking about the Abbe, I guess he has good timing and escaped before anyone noticed. I bet even the secret police hasn’t realized this yet but they were originally after the Abbe and not me.
I have a lot of questions for the Abbe….I think it is time he told me everything.
I am certain he brought me here though he had his own motivations to come here.
I can see the inn.
“Thanks…”
*BOOM*
The Blue Rose inn behind me exploded.

“What is he doing?” The pink haired girl asked as she looked at Sora banging the door of a house.
“Anyone inside? Hello?”
“Hello! I can see lights from your window!”
“Go away!” A woman cried out from the other side of the door.
“I just need to know the directions!”
“GO AWAY!” This time a man yelled.
“Don’t tell me he doesn’t know the way?” Vassel sighed.
“Could be a password.” Hida suggested.
“Unlikely.” Maria shot down the idea. She then suggested. “For the sake of the mission. We should help him.”
“Yeah but whose going to do it?” Kiyoma asked.
“I’ll do it!” The pink haired girl jumped to the nearby roof top and disappeared from everyone’s view before Vassel could give his approval.
“She really does anything she wants…” Vassel mutters.
Next moment she standing out on the street.
“EXCUSE ME!!” Sora called out to the pink haired girl.
“I pray to god that he doesn’t notice she is a soldier…” Hida said as he watched the situation below develop.
“He bought it.” Vassel said with a smile. “Let’s follow them.”

Their alien, furtive, and impenetrably distant politicking has ebbed and flowed throughout past ages, beyond the awareness of most thinking creatures… and recently, it has begun to accelerate. For Sebastio Artaxerxes - and many civilians outside reality’s facets, especially in the transcendent city of Rhaagm - interest in such matters becomes far more pressing after a madman decides to claim a relic of one of the Olds. Sebastio’s demons tell him that fighting the man he once called friend will only end in tears. His soul tells him that tears are only shed by the living, and that the living at least may overcome regrets with time and effort.

The Devil's Bride
"I am not sleepy so why don't we tell each other a story?" Her voice was low and raspy and fuck, I'd been lying if I say I wasn't turned the fuck on. "Like what?" I ask swallowing my pride and probably my sense of direction. Her skin was on top of mine, in contact, burning. "I don't know." She says taking her time to adjust herself on my lap. I had to grip the chair for support feeling all my breath vanish from my lungs. "Maybe a short bio about yourself." She advocates placing one of her hands on my chest. I feel the contact through my shirt, my eyes trained on every movement of hers. The worst of it all was that she is unaware of what she was doing to me. "Uh-" I feel my words shorten. On impulse, I grab her by her waist for support instead. Leaning back painfully on the single chair. "You're so cute when you're confused!" She giggles going ahead to move slightly on my lap. I blow out a groan feeling my erection harden.
