《Abomination》Chapter 29 Whence it Came (Unedited)

Hmm.
The Brotlar princess against the royal draconian, should be interesting. Those two are likely my biggest contenders for the spot in the top 5.
Short, tiny, petite, childish, immature, doll, empty.
Only that eh? Seems like the ‘Fire Princess’ is as the rumors say. A weapon for Muselpine given dwarven form. She looks like the perfect candidate for mental training and torture, if what the Intel says is true then I am right in assuming so.
Tall, savage, brute, power, terror, pride, spite.
There is too much coming from that royal draconian! That and he even caught my gaze! What kind of crazy instincts are those? This is why Farror has been such a bitch to topple, these draconians. Freaks of nature with too much power for their own good. Well at least they are better than the demons of old.
My Oak family has been watching Farror for so long. Finally we are making our move after so many generations. Though we have yet to find the ‘fuse’ for this continent’s powder keg, turns out that even Levin has yet to find it yet. Hopefully it shows itself during my time in the Academy, I really don't need that increase in paperwork. I'd rather just relax and train at the Academy than have to subtly control some walking bomb that could explode in my face.
Eventually though the idiot monkeys back home will kill each other after we begin our plan. Then Lovita and Farror will fall to us like dominoes. But before any of that shit, let's enjoy my school life. Wonder who will win, both have barely showed their true strengths so I doubt it will be a boring fight.
“Why is there a royal draconian here?” I pondered as we were both called up for the next fight.
“Seems he's not a coward like the last one. Hopefully he can be exciting.”
Myself being a dwarf felt truly small as I looked at him. Giant. Was the only word that I could find to describe him at first. But, Beast would be a better word as I would soon find out.
His entire body seemed more like a predator than it did a sentient being. His walk was quiet, almost silent if it wasn't for my magically enhanced senses I would barely be able to hear the muffled clicking of his talons on the dirt floor.
I tried to find anything that gave away a weakness of this giant golden draconian. From the way he moved, the way he carelessly toyed with that monster of a weapon, the total lack of interest in his eyes well eye he had the left one covered. Maybe his left eye is blind!
Hmph. Such a shame, with his body of course there would be some problem. The world is always fair, no living weapon would be totally perfect.
I looked at his wings and tail, they would likely prove more difficult to work against than it would be to capitalise on his blindness. Humongous, was all I could think when I saw him release a subconscious flap as he caught sight of me staring at his wings. They were at least, 3 ½ feet wide. That put his wingspan to almost 7 feet! Shit! He could fly with those leathery muscles attached to his back.

And that tail of his. It was practically a morning star attached to his back! How the hell does he even sleep without cutting himself to shreds with those spikes on it? Ugh. This is why royal draconians rule the races of Gaies. They are weapons that can think for themselves.
Oh well I am the ‘Fire Princess’ and I doubt he has ever gone through half the shit I have. Probably just lived in some castle and trained or some other stupid royal bull. He wasn't experimented on by his own family. He wasn't treated as a monster by his own mother. He wasn't taught only to kill since he was born. I am a monster.
“Begin!” The referee shouted as both the draconian named after the First Angel and I got into position.
I gripped my swords tightly as I began casting my magics. I'll start with a blitz play, then I should try and take him out from afar. He hasn't shown what type of warrior he is though. Looking at his muscles and how he dismantled that human, I'd say he is a Spellblade.
“[Flare Rush]!”
I felt the familiar feeling of the flames take form around me as my self made spell burst into existence. I spent months developing the spell to make up for my Magus failing of close combat. Used my body as the focal point for the flaming orb that would amplify my speed and ward off most attacks. [Flare Rush] coupled with my twin blade style made me almost as powerful as top tier Spellblades in melee combat. Only issue was that it reacted terribly with all my other Fire magics. Exploding at the slightest contact with another flame, it took me months before I finally found a way to use it my advantage. That was to use my swords as the focal point of the spell allowing for the spell to be thrown with weapons, creating a napalm like explosion whenever it collided with other flames.
I stood there watching for any response in ‘Lucifer’ before I realised that he wasn't taking this fight seriously at all! His form had at least 5 holes that I could count! Leaning on glaive like nothing was happening, this was one of my most deadly spells. Oh well, I find pulverizing these cocky warriors almost as enjoyable as a real fight.
Pushing aside my thoughts, I launched myself forward while I let my swords stay parallel with the ground and aimed at Lucifer. Like a burning comet I rushed towards him, intent to let my magic ram into him and torch his scaly ass. Ever since my 11th birthday watching people aflame became the single most relaxing thing in my never ending torment that is my life. Between the ridiculous experiments and the sadistic ‘teaching’ those bastards put me through, only the dancing flames and their screams of agony eased my stressed mind.
Longing for another torched body bubbled up deep inside my husk of a body. It has been so long since I hoped for something at this degree. Last time was when I torched that asinine fiance of mine. Now ‘Lucifer’ you will be the next arrogant idiot to feel the flames of the Fire Princess!

At least that was what I thought. Lucifer disappeared in a cloud of dust as I arrived right before him. I had already released my magic as I stabbed my sabres into the empty air he was supposed to be at.
Where the fuck did he go!
With a anxious panic I began to frantically twist my head around looking for his giant form. It wasn't hard to find. Off to my left he stood with that unnerving purple snake eye staring at me with what looked like a hint of interest. His giant 8 foot glaive lay across his shoulders as if the monstrous weapon weighed nothing at all to him. That weaponized tail flicked back and forth like a cat playing with a ball of yarn, even his wings were shaking lightly causing dust to go flying. But Lucifer had a look of total curiosity as he continued to stare at me and the flaming earth my spell’s fire made.
“You are not bad, Nanus. Oh that is the old tongue for your people, in case you didn't know.” Lucifer spoke out. His voice held an obvious immaturity to it but I could not point that out when it was also as cruel sounding as Beast's growl. He didn't even seem to be hostile to me. Like his animal like tone and nature were deeply ingrained into his mind, body and soul were that of a savage Beast's.
“[Vulcan Pulse]!”
Casting one of the most powerful spells available to me, I chose to ignore his small talk and focus on making him burn. A surge of Mana and Fire Element began to gather at the tip of my sword as I thrust it at the draconian. A beam of crimson red light shot out from the brightly glowing sword. [Vulcan Pulse] condensed all the Fire Element I could gather into a single laser beam of 1000 degree intense light. Vulcan the God of Fire should be proud of my spell, as it will constantly grow in power as I get stronger. Gaining in heat and intensity as my Mana Purity rises. There was no one my level that could handle this spell and despite not being my best magic it still had the highest lethality of all my magics.
The piercing laser shot straight into Lucifer causing a flash of light and heat to explode from the draconian as I maintained my facade of indifference. Inside though, I was revelling in the dancing of the flames that shot out from point zero of my spell.
“So that is what happens when Fire is compressed, it returns to Light.” Came the most haunting voice I had ever heard. Lucifer stood amid the flames like they were nothing, only his body glowed a faint golden colour. Fuck. Fuck. He blocked [Vulcan Pulse].
“Little girl, can you give up? I don't want to hurt you seeing as you gave me some valuable information.”
This arrogant fucking prick! I'll incinerate him! Fuck the rules!
For some reason he shattered my mask of indifference with his lack of care and degrading actions. I who had suffered from a fate worse than death was angered by some oversized lizard brat! The horrible memories of that cold metal table and the Mana serums they forced into me, all forgotten as I began to get genuinely angry.
“Girl, you are finally showing your desire! Haha maybe I can fight you now.” Lucifer laughed as black lines filled my forehead.
“[Ifrit].”
I began to unleash my full power as rage began to consume me. Intense heat blast forth from me as reddish blue flames burst into life at my feet. But before I could fully unleash my magic, I felt something dreadfully heavy weigh down on my shoulder. Looking over I saw the wicked blade of Lucifer's glaive resting next to my neck. Anger quickly became fear as my eyes followed the lengthy shaft of the weapon till I saw Lucifer's scaled hand. His purple dragon slit eye looking at me with a mild annoyance clear in the depths of that unfathomable eye.
“Match over! Victor Lucifer! Defeat Evra.” The referee said bluntly as his tall figure entered in between us.
“Lucifer don't go killing another one, it's not worth it.” My interest was raptly taken by those words that the ref said to Lucifer as the draconian took his weapon away from my body with a low rumbling growl. He truly was more animalistic than any other being I had ever met.
I had no qualms over my defeat, only an unnerving feeling that Lucifer Khan was going to forever become a shadow in my heart. The boy who had the appearance of a man crossed with a Beast. The boy who totally disregarded my pride and honour as a warrior, all because of some info that he supposedly gained from me. It was at this moment I realised that I had to subdue him before he left his beastial imprint in me forever.
“Nome of you are a match for him. Forfeit now.”
With those words hanging in the air I headed to my spot to sulk and ponder over what had happened in that ‘fight’ if I could even call of that. Let the rest of those fools learn of the insanity that is the First Angel made Dragon. I would only focus on burning everyone around him.
“Well that'd be interesting. So you all going forfeit from your fights with the hatchling?” Taunting the still reeling students, Jas evilly chuckled.
“No one would blame you, after all even the renown Fire Princess fell to defeat in his hands.”
Bitter faces clouded the students as they hung their heads in mixtures of shame, humiliation and helplessness. Only two of them could resist the sweltering flames of Evra’s magics and those two were a lot farther then Lucifer was. And he stood in them like they were embers instead of being the true inferno they were. If Evra was so easily brought to her knees, wouldn't the same happen to all of them? This single thought kept recurring in the students’ heads. Even Jas’ provocation fell to deaf ears as one by one the students chose to forfeit their matches with Lucifer, placing him as a guaranteed top 5 finalist.

When Plush comes to Shove
An: So the last synopsis wasn’t really all that good, it was just some mumbo jumbo with no actual point to it so I decided to make a new one that’s a bit more accurate. Leo Lush, just your average everyday (slightly chubby) schmuck, or at least he would be if he didn’t carry around a stuffed toy everywhere he went.I mean, he was a man who could read the atmosphere a bit so put it away in his bag whenever having a stuffed toy out would be rude but other than that he brought it with him all the time, it was a memento from his girlfriend who had died three years ago and keeping it close made him feel better. That’s also why his classmates gave him the nickname “Plush”, though that's neither here nor there. One day at the train station he’d lost his dearest stuffed toy, one of his classmates found it and lobbed it towards him, something that they’d already done many times before, but this time something went wrong and Leo found himself falling in front of the train due to the force of the throw. Now follow Leo as the spirit that developed in his stuffed toy and killed him forces his ghost into another world to possess a different stuffed toy. He doesn’t know much about the world or why he’s there but what he does know is that according to a magic book his girlfriend was also sent to this very world when she died in a plane accident three years ago. An: For those who want to know a bit more about what kind of story this will be: I want it to be a chill feel-good story and stay as far away from those despair-fest stories as possible (No offense to people who enjoy them, I’m just not one of you)Let me make something clear; I’m not writing this story with hope of it becoming really top tier among RRL (Though it did get above rank 500 once which I’m still very proud of even though it’s gone back down to ~850 at the time of writing this) I just want to write a story that I would enjoy reading, that’s why I’ll be mostly skipping over a lot of the parts that I skip when I read other stories, such as stats, the exact value of money and other such precise statistics that no one(as far as I’m aware) really cares about all that much. Just feels like a lot of effort for something superfluous. There’s a single exception and that’s one of the battles, it’s not a despair-fest or anything but it’s got a different feel than the rest of the story due to me being in a funky mood while I was writing it.
