After the meeting of the strongest, Latias went back to her chambers to get some rest, as the past 1,000 years has been tiring to say the least.

As she makes it back to her chambers, she is met by a little bird sitting in a cage who chirps loudly when she walks in.

“Lady Latias, I sense a disturbance is soon to come.”

“Yeah, yeah, I figured as much.”

“Why is that?”

“Well, since Zaragnathor is finally reincarnated, he should make an immense jump in power soon. I figured maybe up to Cloud Realm.”

The bird thinks for a second and yet it can’t figure out why Latias assumes this. One major question is running through its small head.

“Why did you make him a human? Wouldn’t he have been stronger and more comfortable if you made him a dragon again?”

Latias simply laughs and shakes her head.

“There was one thing that prevented Zaragnathor from reaching the Never realm. That is emotion. His emotions weren’t on the same level as his soul nor his physical power. That has always been a problem from those emotionless bastards of dragons.”

The bird chirps and basically says “Ahhhh” as it finally understands now.

“Not only that, but the fact that he might be an Abomination makes it even better. All we need to do is wait and soon he will-.”

Latias’s words are cut short by a short rumbling in her realm that is small yet significant. This rumble means that something emense has happened within their universe. Latias smiles weakly yet brightly.

“It seems I don’t have to wait long. He is catching up with his emotions to show his true potential.”

A few minutes before the rumbling in Latias’s Realm.

Zao Ning makes his way towards the zoo, running at a speed that most people can’t even register visually so most people do not even notice him.

Zao Ning sprints as fast as possible to the zoo and is able to reach his destination in under 30 seconds.

Panting from running so hard, Zao Ning’s body starts to feel stress which it has not felt before. Zao Ning is circulating his Lightning Ki so ferociously that it is starting to put stress on his lighting worm and his cultivation veins.

I have a very bad feeling about this…

My gut is telling me something is very wrong.

What is happening to mother?!

Zao Ning’s mind is in a panicked state and his body is full of a nervousness that Zao Ning has never felt before in his existence.

As Zao Ning turns into the zoo, a very peculiar aura pierces his brain. It is like a type of power he has never felt before, yet he feels some familiarity with it.

Just what is going on!

The fact that a dragon who was nearly at the type of every living thing is feeling a new sensation of power is unheard of, on top of that in such a small realm.

The young dragon boy easily follows the aura and soon he finds a building that has a bright red door.

“EMPLOYEES ONLY” the door reads in massive print.

Employees only my rear, something isn’t right here!

Zao Ning takes his hand, which has turned bright silver, and sends it straight towards the door.

Putting up no resistance, the wooden door completely shatters and wind from Zao Ning’s punch blows throughout the area.

People are startled by a sudden gust of wind and the animals within the zoo start to go into a frenzy.

The fact that the aura of a dragon, even if small compared to an actual dragon, is nearby, makes every single animal within the zoo panic and try to escape.

This just causes more chaos and soon the strongest people in the town can feel a dangerous presence looming.

Only problem is, that presence isn’t Zao Ning's.

As Zao bursts the door open, a purple power that is unfathomable to Zao Ning shoots out of the building in retaliation.

Zao Ning responds just barely fast enough and blocks it with his dragon-like hand.

Zao Ning’s leg strength isn’t enough to keep himself up though as he is sent flying back at speeds Zao Ning hasn’t felt since he reincarnated.

The dragon boy slams into a nearby building, goes through it and smacks into the stone wall on the other side of the room he is sent into.

His head feels fuzzy and his body is extremely groggy after being smacked so hard, yet Zao Ning’s will of a dragon forces his body to get up.

What the fuck was that, some bitch dares to try for my life with a sneak attack. I’ll end you!

Lightning Ki starts to spark and appear Zao Ning in a flurry as he raises his skills to the max. Wiping blood from his mouth that he coughed up at some point, Zao Ning is ready to fight now.

A shriek from a woman is heard and Zao Ning slightly turns his head to the left. There he sees a young woman riding on top of a man, which both are naked. The man is tied to the bed and even has what seems to be a gag in his mouth.

The two have completely pale faces of horror as they look at the young kid with the power to destroy them.

Zao Ning simply tips his head at them.

“Carry on, I won’t stop you. I know how you humans are with your gross ways of conception and obsession with it. Now if you will excuse me I have some ask to kick and some names to take.”

The couple just stared at the boy with their mouths open as he gave them permission to carry on, yet sounding like some other being who wasn’t human.

Zao Ning leaves them to their devices and walks out of the hole he had made in the stone wall. As he leaves, he is met with this mysterious purple power being everywhere.

The purple power is harassing citizens as it tries to attack anyone within a close distance of the zoo.

Zao Ning squints his eyes to try and see who is controlling this power and his heart sinks as he sees the culprit.

The Lightning that was once roaring around Zao Ning in a fury dies down and even disappears altogether.

Zao Ning chokes for a second and barely manages to croak out a small voice.

“M… Mother?”

In the middle of the purple power, Wei Ning stood with her eyes brimming with bright purple light. She didn’t hear Zao Ning and continues to rampage around her. By now the building she was once in is nearly completely destroyed as only ruins lay there now.

Zao Ning takes a weak step forward.

What is she doing?

Why did she attack me?

What happened to my innocent mother that needed my protection.

…

What happened mom?

Zao Ning’s mind could only race with questions as the once arrogant dares not to raise a hand towards his mother. Yet his mother is not acting like herself and seems to be in a trance.

“Huh, the power this bastard daughter of the Archmage himself is nothing to scoff at. Well I guess she is talented enough to be recruited.”

Zao Ning hears a voice full of honey above him and looks up, seeing a woman flying in the air with a carefree feeling about her.

The woman is not wearing much clothing except for some skimpy looking black robes. The woman is evaluating Zao Ning’s mother and Zao Ning isn’t so dense that he can’t put 2 and 2 together.

“Do you know anything about what’s happening to my mother?”

Zao Ning’s voice is full of anger and hatred. His mother is a sweet and kind woman who has most likely never harmed anyone in her life.

Now this sweet woman who always cared for Zao Ning the best way she could and was so innocent that she was like a blank sheet is rampaging around and trying to kill people causes Zao Ning’s mind to continue down a dark and dangerous path.

Dangerous for this woman of course.

The woman hears Zao Ning’s question and looks down at the boy. She scoffs and a dark smile spreads across her face.

“A fly dares speak to a dragon. You seem somewhat strong for this puny town though, I guess I’ll test my newest experiment on you.”

The woman then points her finger seductively at Zao Ning and whispers words that manage to reach Wei Ning with the help of some curious power.

“Kill this boy, prove your worth to your people.”

Wei Ning slowly turns around and faces Zao Ning, staring daggers at the boy. Zao Ning can feel this stare and his suspicions are confirmed.

This woman is controlling Wei Ning and causing his beloved mother to go ballistic. Now she dares to point his own mother like a sword at himself.

Not even that, he is the actual dragon here, and boy does he plan on showing this woman a lesson.

“You…” Zao Ning’s eyes try to stare a hole into the chest of the woman as she sits in the sky sneering at him.

She snickers and puffs her large chest out a little bit.

“Getting a good look before you’re sent to hell huh? Well I don’t mind, I have a very attractive chest even to young flies like you it seems.”

The woman makes one final signal to Wei Ning and then his own mother starts to run towards Zao Ning with a killing intent. Zao Ning simply chuckles a little and his voice goes many octaves deeper than his childish voice that usually accompanies his child like body.

“I don’t think you understand. This hand right here is going through that pretty little chest you're so proud of.”

Zao Ning’s voice comes out like a low growl and the woman raises a curious eyebrow. She then giggles at the young boys confidence. Floating down towards Zao Ning, she soon arrives directly in front of Zao Ning’s face.

Zao Ning doesn’t make a move yet though and stares the woman down with a fury she has only seen a few times before.

“Try.”

“Me.”

“Boy.”

The woman says this slowly and tauntingly at Zao Ning.

After the woman says boy, Wei Ning is basically on top of them and sends purple force slamming down towards her precious son.

That's when a loud shatter is heard and time freezes for Zao Ning.

The reason he didn’t directly smack the woman in the face when she came close is because of the internal battle going on inside of him.

His soul had surrounded the bead of his old blood residing within his heart and forcefully tried to shatter and absorb it.

This is dangerous, but I won’t let this woman get away with her blasphemy! Claiming I'm a fly while she is a dragon, realize who the actual dragon is!

Zao Ning thought to himself as his soul forcefully pulled apart the bead of dragon’s blood within himself. Fueled by his intense emotions, Zao Ning managed to instantly absorb his dragon blood, giving him a boost in power the woman would have never expected.

That is what led to this point, and when Zao Ning finished absorbing the blood, before it even stabilized, he activated it.

Zao Ning’s cultivation shot upwards towards the upper echelons of the cultivation cycle and finally stopped at the 7th Void Realm.
