Is it Yu Yan, the so called genius of Xi’an and the number one beauty in the lands all around!

Is it Lang Wu, the main disciple of Elder Mo, who has stunned the tournament with his 5th Mortal Realm body and shocking abilities?

Or maybe it can be Ye Ling, the disciple of-.

It’s definitely going to be Zao Ning.

This is highly obvious because as soon as the five come onto the platform, the four other disciples immediately all face towards Zao Ning.

This shows by the fact that everyone is willing to team up against Zao Ning without even talking about it, showing that Zao Ning is everyone’s biggest threat.

Elder Lu, the one who called Zao Ning an idiot before giving him a quest, is the one who is officiating over the match.

Elder Lu stares at Zao Ning’s back with a proud and profound look, which confuses Grand Elder Chi as to why Elder Lu cares so much about Zao Ning.

Zao Ning notices Elder Lu’s gaze amidst all of the stares of hate but ignores it. He is more focused on the people glaring at him in fear and anger.

With a smile, Zao Ning puts his hand on the hilt of his sword and prepares for Elder Lu to start the match.

Yu Yan is one of the people staring at Zao Ning in fear after he whooped her ass and stole her Crystal Pass.

So isn’t Lang Wu, who Zao Ning broke the nose of at the 4th Mortal Realm.

The other two contestants on the other hand are ready to fight Zao Ning as they have never experienced his true power first hand.

Zao smiles widely as he enjoys being in the spot light and he tries to find his mother, but for some reason wherever he looks, Zao can’t see Wei Ning anywhere.

Zao Ning’s eyes narrow as he focuses over every single person and looks for Wei Ning in a few seconds, but he can’t find Wei Ning.

A dark look comes over Zao Ning’s face as he knows his mother, and she wouldn’t miss this for the world.

As Zao Ning prepares to leave the platform to go find Wei Ning to make sure she is okay, Elder Lu throws down his hand, signaling the beginning of the Battle Royale.

Without even a second passing after the start of the Battle Royale, the four other contestants rush towards Zao Ning and activate their strongest abilities.

Zao Ning’s patience is thin already and now these people plan to get in his way, but Zao Ning won’t let it happen.

His Dragon’s blood begins to boil and a mighty and domineering aura explodes from within his small body.

Instantly, the other four constants are frozen in fear as they feel like an ancient primordial beast is staring them down.

Zao Ning is hard pressed to contain his rage as the one thing he cares about in the world seems to always be in trouble, putting his heart and mind in dark places.

“FUCK OFF!” Zao Ning roars loudly with the voice of a dragon after finally succumbing to his rage.

Both Yu Yan and Lang Wu instantly collapse to their knees in fear of the reincarnated dragon showing a glimpse of his true form, while the other two are able to resist a little better.

This doesn’t last long though, as Zao Ning disappears from their sight only to reappear in front of one of them, sending out a heavy fist that goes straight into their gut.

When the fist hits the disciple’s gut, the girl Ye Ling instantly spits out a mouthful of blood before being flung into the air uncontrollably like a kite with its string cut.

Soaring through the air, Ye Ling finally lands somewhere near the top of the stands and everyone within the arena goes quiet at Zao Ning’s rage, power, and ferocity.

Zao Ning looks at the other three in the arena, the power of a dragon pouring from his body and all three of them begin to quake.

“I forfeit!” yells Lang Wu.

“”Me too!”” both Yu Yan and the other disciple yell out at the same time.

Not many people are surprised at everyone giving up after Zao Ning’s display of power, and to think, he never even unsheathed the mysterious sword on his back.

“AND YOU WINNER IS ZAO NING! CONGRATULATIONS! Now, for the top ten to enter the inheritan-.”

“Yada yada, I don’t have time for this, I have to go.” Zao Ning says, surprisingly his voice outdoing the Elder who is the designated announcer.

Zao Ning begins to jog out of the arena, on a mission to see where his mother has gone.

“Zao Ning, but the inheritance and the rewards-.”

“Fuck your pitiful inheritance and rewards, I don’t need to depend on someone else’s techniques to become stronger, plus more important matters are at stake. Say one more word to try and stop me and you won’t like the result.”

Zao Ning finishes his statement extra frighteningly while giving the Elder trying to convince to stay a look that could kill.

Surprisingly, Zao Ning’s threat frightened the Elder as he knows about what happened to Elder Mo, and he is only a little stronger than Elder Mo.

Zao Ning, now seeing no one will contest him in leaving, turns to once again to leave them arena.

“Wait dumb one.”

Zao Ning stops dead in his tracks and slowly turning around, his eyes filled with a dead seriousness as he turns around to find Elder Lu is the one who said this.

“If you’re worried about your mother, I heard that there is a woman at the zoo who seems to be in a trance. Maybe this will help you find peace and fix the knot in your heart.” Elder Lu says while bowing to Zao Ning.

Zao Ning’s deadly gaze stops for a second as he thinks hard as he remembers his mother trying to go the zoo before, but why now?

The anger in Zao’s heart is pierced by an arrow of anxiety and soon, all of the Lightning Ki in the area swirls and heads towards Zao Ning’s body, being absorbed and used to boost himself.

Fusing his body with Lightning Ki, Zao’s body increases in speed many times over and he disappears from everyone’s sight as he runs to the zoo as fast as possible.

Grand Elder Chi narrows his eyes at Elder Lu.

The tournament ends and Elder Lu goes through a private tunnel made for Elder’s to exit the arena whenever they want.

At the end of the tunnel, sealed off from the public’s eye, stands Grand Elder Chi, who stares at Elder Lu threateningly.

“What relation do you have with my disciple and why do you know his mother is what made him anxious.” Grand Elder Chi says while standing up. Grand Elder Chi releases a bit of his power to put pressure on Elder Lu, as Elder Lu might mess with his plans to build the perfect genius and find out what is inside Zao Ning.

“All I’ll say Grand Elder Chi is that you’re going senile and your methods won’t work. higher powers have noticed what you’re trying to do and I’m going to warn you one time. You have no idea what you’re dealing with and for your sect’s safety, I’d stop while you’re still alive.”

Elder Lu is unaffected by Grand Elder Chi’s peak 8th Mortal Realm pressure, which surprises the Grand Elder.

“Who are you and what have you done with Lu Wong, the 7th Mortal Realm Elder of my sect!” yells Grand Elder Chi as he sends a sword flying towards Elder Lu.

Elder Lu simply laughs and disappears into a dark smoke.

“Lord Zaragnathor is the most important piece in defending against the invading magicians, and if you think I will let you mess with his recultivation back to his former power, then you’re mistaken!” says the smoke as it flies out of the arena and away from Grand Elder Chi.

“Coward, fight me!” yells Grand Elder Chi as he intends to chase the smoke.

‘Fool, the only reason I’m not killing you is because this is Lord Zaragnathor’s job! Your job at this point is to be a stepping stone in his cultivation! Too bad we can only watch him cultivate his way back up as if we interfere too much, Lord Zaragnathor will never reach his full potential!’

The smoke snickers as it finishes its thoughts and vanishes, with Grand Elder Chi not being able to sense it anymore.
