The boy followed Yun Ling's gaze and was incredulous.

"They are... children?"

What were two children doing on top of a World Turtle? And why was the World Turtle allowing those two to ride on its shell without doing anything?

World Turtles were pacifist in nature. As long as they weren't disturbed, they wouldn't go out on their way to cause destruction. However, if someone approached them, they would immediately lash out and destroy everything in their path. They were creatures who wished to be left alone in silence. Even if the one that approached them was a god or ancient god, it would never be docile.

Now, in front of him was a World Turtle that was actually being ridden by two children. It was quite an unbelievable sight. One that he thought would never see in his lifetime.

"Those two are... children?" Yun Ling asked disbelievingly. He thought that the two children were like the boy in front of him who was incredibly old yet looked like a child. How could children like them ride a beast like that?

"They are," the boy confirmed. "They aren't like me."

The huge palm that stopped its descent due to the appearance of the newcomers had once again started descending. This time, with even more speed.

Everyone became terrified even more because of that.

"I don't want to die!"

"This is the end!"

"We shouldn't have come into this stupid war!"

"Grandpa, Grandma, I'm coming!"

Yun Ling clenched his fist as he snapped his neck towards the boy, only to see him standing still.

'Is he not going to do anything? I thought he's going to help us,' he thought to himself with his heart beating wildly.

Snow Fang closed his eyes. The figure of his son, the Lion King Cub flashed in his mind while doing so.

"Zi Xia..." the woman muttered to herself while gritting her teeth.

She didn't care if she dies but with how huge this palm was, it wouldn't just be the Thousand Mountain Valley that would suffer. The impact that his palm was going to make would surely cause devastating damage to the Jin Empire even if it was out of range from the palm.

'Why is it not working?' she thought bitterly as she held a small orb in her pocket. It was a type of spatial tool that she used to come into this world. She tried using it earlier but it wasn't working. Something was interfering in the space.

If she could've used it, she would've already used it by now. She would then drag Yun Ling and Snow Fang with her before going to Zi Xia and Yue Dongmei to escape from this world.

With the continued descend of the huge palm, only the boy was calm among the tens of thousands of people in the Thousand Mountain Valley as he focused all of his attention on the newcomers.

"Hmm? Master, is that an ancient god?!" one of the children said while pointing at the descending palm from the sky.

Judging from the figure and the faint voice that the boy was able to hear, the speaker was most likely a girl. As for the other child, he looked like a boy so he might be one.

The other child looked up. When he saw the huge palm, a wide smile appeared on his face while looking incredibly astonished.

"That seems stronger than the gods! I think it's really an Ancient God!" the child said, excitement plastered on his face.

"What do we do now, Master?" the girl asked.

A grin appeared on the child's face.

"We defeat it of course!" he said, excited at the prospect of fighting an ancient god.

After saying those words, the World Turtle roared, clearing the landscape in front of it while the cultivators who were near it exploded into bloody mists from the World Turtle's roar.

"Ugh, what is this?!" Yun Ling groaned out while trying to maintain his balance and covering both of his ears with his hands as a raging wind threatened all over was threatening to blow them away.

The woman also did the same while closing both of her eyes.

Snow Fang ducked down as he tried to cover his ears with his paws. Yun Ling looked at him for a moment and saw that his ears were bleeding.

As a lesser beast, Snow Fang had a sensitive hearing which was why he was more affected by the World Turtle's roar than Yun Ling.

"Are you fine, Snow Fang?" Yun Ling asked through his Divine Mind worriedly.

"I can manage just fine, Young Master," Snow Fang responded.

Yun Ling no longer said anything as he laid his eyes on the path in front of the World Turtle.

His eyes went wide.

The hundreds of mountains that stood ahead of the World Turtle were now gone. It was replaced by a barren wasteland that stretched towards the horizon. Even the cultivators who stood in its path had disappeared.

He didn't want to think of what happened to those unfortunate cultivators.

"This is the power of a World Turtle?"

"Child, a World Turtle's power is more than that. What you see in front of you is a World Turtle just playing around."

Yun Ling was speechless for a second.

"This is playing around?"

The boy looked at the child. He couldn't see his face clearly but he saw that there was a huge grin on the boy's face which ironically reminded him of someone that he had taught for a while in the Ethereal Realm.

While musing, his eyes widened considerably when the child released a strong amount of Divine Energy from his body.

The world was illuminated once again with a bright, golden light as every cultivator in the Thousand Mountain Valley fell down on the ground when a shockwave of Divine Energy came busting out from the child on top of the World Turtle. Even the boy staggered a few steps backward as he looked at the child in disbelief.

Now, standing on top of the World Turtle was a child with a pair of black and white wings with a glowing golden halo floating on top of his head. There was also a pair of black horns that encircled his head which strangely resembled that of a crown.

"A Nephilim," the boy said gravely.
