《Young Master Has a Daughter》Chapter 256

Yun Ling gritted his teeth.
It seemed unlikely that the god left on his own accord especially because he was talking before he vanished. He disappeared abruptly that which led him to believe that the god had been teleported somewhere else.
'Was it another god?' he thought with a grave look on his face.
He didn't have much time to ponder on his thoughts, however, as he could feel the searing heat that the remaining asteroids were releasing near him.
Yun Ling took a deep breath as his eyes gained a determined look in them.
A hundred thousand spiritual orbs slowly appeared one after another all over the sky.
He then analyzed the asteroids very carefully with his Divine Eyes.
'These asteroids aren't normal asteroids... they have Divine Energy in them because they are created by a god unlike the asteroids from before. That means it will be much harder to break them in comparison to the first asteroids that were destroyed before.'
He knew it would be difficult but he couldn't just stand idly by and watch the asteroids cause devastation to the Thousand Mountain Valley and the countries, kingdoms, empires, and sects, around it.
With a mental command, the spiritual orbs met the hundreds of asteroids in the sky.
The people below watched as numerous explosions could be seen in the sky, trying to blow the asteroids into smithereens.
"That is..." Yun Yi narrowed his eyes as he looked at the spiritual orbs above.
In the middle of the World of Terra's army formation, Yun Zhan unintentionally continued Yun Yi's words even though Yun Yi was far away from him and was in the rear, "Our clan's supreme art..."
Yun Wei had a huge grin on his face. From his position, he could faintly see Yun Ling's figure high up in the sky.

The Jin Empire's emperor and unit commander saw this.
"What are you guys waiting for?! Are you just going to stand right there and let a youth destroy those asteroids all on his own?!" Yu Yinyi said, trying to raise the morale of the soldiers around him.
His words snapped them out of their daze as their expressions hardened.
"NO SIR!"
"Then go and destroy those oversized rocks in the sky!"
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
They all yelled out as they launched their strongest supreme arts to the sky.
The other soldiers who were in the distance saw the soldiers who were attacking the asteroids with vigor, and finally decided to act. They followed after their lead and launched their supreme arts.
The leaders of the other worlds relayed their commands and soon attacked the asteroids.
Yun Ling retreated to a safe distance to avoid getting hit by their supreme arts, however, he continued his attacks even while retreating. He bombarded the asteroids with hundreds of thousands of supreme arts and after he ran out of spiritual orbs, he would make another batch of spiritual orbs. In this way, he kept spamming his spiritual orbs while slowly chipping away at each asteroid.
"Damn it!" the leader of the supremes cursed out. "This thing is too hard! If those things were just normal asteroids, it wouldn't have taken us this much trouble at all!"
No one bothered responding to him, however, all of them agreed with what he had said.
Until now, they hadn't even destroyed half of the remaining asteroids even with their combined might.
"Can't you destroy those asteroids with the weapon you used to slay the immortal with?" the leader of the war deities turned to the leader of the Heavenly Machine Gods and asked.

The Heavenly Machine God ignored him. If he could still use his weapons, he would've long since used them. The problem was the Immortal Slaying Cannon was a one-time thing. To use it again, he would either have it be charged by his spiritual energy for a long while or use certain materials to feed the cannon with so it could come up with enough energy for another round.
The problem was, he didn't have any of those two. He didn't have the time, and neither did he have the materials his Immortal Slaying Cannon needed.
He wasn't going to tell the war deity that though because it was a trade secret.
Seeing that the Heavenly Machine God wouldn't say anything, the war deity let out a sigh. He could understand what he was thinking and he didn't blame him for that. If he was in his position, he would have also kept quiet.
While everybody was attacking the asteroids, Yun Ling stopped to take some rest.
It was then that he noticed.
The chunks of broken rocks from the asteroids were flying away from the Thousand Mountain Valley. Just by looking at it, Yun Ling knew that those rocks would surely land all over the World of Terra.
It wasn't really strange for them to go too far since practically all the strongest beings in the world and even the hardened warriors from the other worlds were here and were combining their attacks to destroy the asteroids. Moreover, those chunks of rocks from the asteroids contained Divine Energy in them. They wouldn't be burned easily to the point that nothing would be left of them like normal meteors would when entering the atmosphere.
However, it was something else that caught his attention.
It was a particularly large-sized rock that had been broken off from an asteroid flying towards a certain direction.
His Divine Eyes immediately calculated the rock's trajectory.
It was going to hit the area near the Great Buddhist Monastery!
With its large size and its speed, the impact would surely cause devastating damage to the monastery. He couldn't allow that to happen. His daughter, younger brother, his disciples, the Lion King Cub, and Yue Dongmei were in there!
Without any hesitation, he took off with great speed and blocked its way to the Great Buddhist Monastery.
He immediately tried forming spiritual orbs so he could bombard it, however, the debris was faster.
Before he could form a spiritual orb, the debris hit him and broke upon contact, immediately sending Yun Ling crashing to the ground.

Life is Feudal
No OP stuff, status bars, levels or skills. This story is in favour of more realistic setting in a world of humans and various monsters. "Behind the mask of the assertive, resolute facade that employs ruthless routes at any given moment, lies the frail, anxious heart that were once but a puny human. Reviled and revered by many, none would ever know my true allegiance lies within myself, merely trying to survive this mess." Just the life of a grumpy man child living in a terrible piece of shit or a desolate state in which I call an alternate historical take on medieval Europe. Living as a peasant who is forced to take up arms to defend his own kin. This story grants an insightful take on the life of people living under constant danger, from vying nobles who commit atrocities in the name of justice, eager nations and barbarians aiming to take a piece of the bountiful land and mythical divine monsters who resembles a walking catastrophe in any possible way. [If you're easily offended by alternate-history religion and cultural practices, then you shouldn't read this.]
