All of the asteroids were being destroyed one by one by the combined might of the seven worlds' army— now eight with the addition of the Heavenly Machine Gods who came into the World of Terra later than everybody else.

After they destroyed the asteroids, the debris came flying all over the place which was quickly dealt with by the others who had already expected that to happen.

The Heavenly Rebirth Realm experts were the ones who destroyed the asteroids, now, it was the Sacred Kings' turn to make sure the debris wouldn't come to them and harm the cultivators with lesser cultivation realm than them.

Thousands of debris came flying out in all directions when the asteroids were destroyed. The Sacred Kings and the other lesser cultivators who gave assistance were able to destroy the majority of them, however, there were still hundreds of debris that they weren't able to destroy.

All those debris fell down all over the place in the Thousand Mountain Valley, causing devastating damages to the areas in which they had landed.

Every debris that successfully fell to the ground caused the ground to shake a little. Many rejuvenated trees were uprooted, landscapes were being upturned, and deep craters were made as a fire began spreading to the surrounding trees in the Thousand Mountain Valley which spread to the other trees in no time at all.

Yun Ling narrowed his eyes when he saw debris the size of a boulder come flying towards them at extreme speeds. His gaze briefly fell on the god who seemed unconcerned and was more focused on the treasure before looking back to the debris.

The god looked like he didn't want to deal with it so he had no choice but to do it himself.

"Snow Fang, stay here," Yun Ling said to which the beast obeyed,

The woman looked at Yun Ling, already knowing what he was planning.

"Be careful."

Yun Ling didn't offer any response. Instead of responding, his eyes transformed into his Divine Eyes as a pair of purple wings emitting dust of purple light emerged from his back. He then wordlessly flew to the sky while hundreds of orbs made from his spiritual energy appeared around him.

Before the debris could come close to him, he gracefully placed his hand forward, directing the spiritual orbs around him to fly towards the debris.

Not even a second later, the spiritual orbs hit the debris, engulfing the debris with hundreds of large, white orbs that disintegrated the debris into nothingness. An explosion was then heard soon after that.

After dealing with the debris, Yun Ling slowly descended as his wings slowly disappearing from sight.

Just as he thought all the asteroids had been dealt with, an extremely bright light blinded nearly everyone in the Thousand Mountain Valley for a second before they could see once again. However, their surroundings didn't exactly return back to normal. A bright white light illuminated everything while they all felt very hot.

Everyone in the Thousand Mountain Valley looked up, including the god, only to see tens of thousands of burning asteroids that were bigger than the mountains descend upon them.

The sky couldn't be seen anymore, just the asteroids which were blocking up the sky.

All of them felt their throats go dry except for the god.

This...

Was this still something they could contend against?

If it were just a dozen asteroids or perhaps, hundreds of them, it wouldn't be easy but they could still do something about it.

Tens of thousands of asteroids?

Impossible.

If those things hit the ground, never mind the Thousand Mountain Valley, the majority of the World of Terra would be destroyed!

Yun Ling's face went grave while Snow Fang merely stared at the asteroids without showing any emotion on his face. As for the woman who was with them, her expression couldn't be seen due to the veiled hat that she was wearing. Judging from the frown on her face, however, it could be said that she was quite worried.

The handsome man's mouth was wide open as he stared foolishly at the asteroids.

Even in the Ethereal Realm, there wasn't anyone he knew of that could even come close to doing that. That kind of power... it was abnormal. It could only belong to a god! A real god!

"Hm, whatever god is doing this, they sure are merciless. Are they not even going to give the people in this world a chance?" the god muttered to himself, looking unconcerned.

Yun Ling heard him speak and said, "You're a god, aren't you? Are you not going to do anything about this? Are you just going to stand aside and watch?!"

At the side, both man and woman looked at Yun Ling at first before looking at the god.

'He's a god?!' they thought in surprise.

The god looked at him with a raised brow.

"So what if I do?" he said. "Teacher only told me to keep you safe and deal with those gods. As long as I manage to do those two, I don't care about the rest."

Yun Ling's gaze went cold.

"What?"

"It is beneath for someone like me to deal with those rocks. You mortals should take care of that. If you can't even destroy those simple things, then I can only say you guys deserve to die. You know why?" the god asked emotionlessly.

"Why?" Yun Ling asked, trying to keep his emotions in check.

"Because weakness is a sin."

Yun Ling's eyes instantly morphed into his Divine Eyes as he glared at the god, his anger rising up.

"You bastard... what did you say?!"

Weakness was a sin?! Was he being serious?!

Yun Ling was far from a good person by any means and he knew that. Though he had bullied people in the past, he never thought that he was justified for doing so because they were weak. He knew what he was doing was wrong and he never tried justifying it.

But this?

Weakness was a sin? What kind of bullshit was spewing out of this god's mouth?

Then did that little girl who was beaten, humiliated, and then later killed herself in shame in the Great Buddhist Monastery deserved what happened to her because she was weak? Because she was a sinner? Because weakness was a sin?

Then was the monk who did unsavory things to her in the right because he was strong?!
