《Young Master Has a Daughter》Chapter 252

After Yun Ling went down, the god noticed something.
His gaze shifted downwards and saw that his foot was slightly off by one centimeter from its original position.
Yun Ling actually made him move. As inconsequential it might be to be moved by just a single centimeter, it showed just how promising Yun Ling was.
He was just a mere mortal at the Fate Dominion Realm. Even if it were Sacred Kings or Heavenly Rebirth Realm experts, most of them wouldn't have been able to move him in his current state in the slightest.
However, he, a mortal, had forcibly moved a god like him.
It was something worth commending about.
Sensing something from behind, the god tilted his head to the side, avoiding the claws of the beast who was intending to slice his head off.
It was Snow Fang. He attacked the god after seeing him attack his young master.
"Oh? You're just as gutsy as your master. But can you do better than him, beast?"
Snow Fang growled before opening his snout, forming a blue, cold, and round spiritual energy right in front of his face while directing it towards the god.
This was something he had learned in his stay in the Yun Clan. More specifically, it was something he learned after being given some pointers by his young master and observing him use that supreme art for demonstration in the past few months.
His young master told him that in the entire Jin Empire, the Yun Clan was the best at manipulating their spiritual energies while the Yu Clan were known for their exceptional commanders and swordsmen. That was why every powerful individual in the clan must know how to use this spiritual art.
Snow Fang was one of those individuals.
After condensing his spiritual energy into a concentrated orb, he added his own unique, innate supreme art as a Snow Wolf Deity, making the orb of concentrated spiritual energy slowly getting coated by a frosty layer.

Upon seeing this, the woman said, "Let me help you."
When she finished speaking, she started assisting him. Though she was tired, she poured out some spiritual energy in her staff and waved it at Snow Fang's direction.
The orb that Snow Fang created had become even colder. The surroundings suddenly started getting chilly while the surface of the ground froze up.
Snow Fang didn't expect that the woman would do something like this.
'Thanks,' he said telepathically. He was no longer hostile to her as he was before.
As a response to the wolf's gratitude, the woman nodded her head.
The god merely raised his brow as he looked at Snow Fang and the woman and waited for them to finish up. He was so confident in his abilities that he had no problem giving them time to attack him with their strongest abilities.
Or perhaps, he just didn't think too highly of them, believing that no matter what they were going to do, it wasn't going to hurt him in the slightest.
When Snow Fang finished charging up the orb, he stopped and ate the orb.
The woman blinked.
The god blinked.
The man who had been silent the whole time, watching them fight also blinked.
They thought Snow Fang was going to fire that orb to the god but he actually did something they never thought about.
He ate it!
After eating the orb, Snow Fang's body grew larger while his furs had become frozen, looking similar to that of sharp icicles. Snow Fang's breath was releasing cold mists while his body was emitting extremely cold air. Overall, Snow Fang looked more intimidating and dangerous after transforming.
In the woman's eyes, Snow Fang disappeared and appeared right in front of the god with his mouth wide open.

With Snow Fang's huge build, the god looked small in comparison. If Snow Fang's opponent was a lesser person, there was no doubt that Snow Fang could swallow him whole.
Snow Fang's opponent, however, was a god.
The god was about to attack Snow Fang when suddenly, he stopped as he noticed something strange.
"Hm? This..."
Snow Fang was confused at first why the god stopped before feeling something strange himself just seconds after. That strange feeling began growing more and more in him and before Snow Fang knew it, his furs were standing on end.
His instincts were telling him to run away from this place.
The god looked up.
Snow Fang followed his example and also looked up while the other two people with them did the same.
All of their throats went dry upon seeing an unbelievable sight in the sky bar the god.
There were dozens of asteroids coming down to the Thousand Mountain Valley from the sky!
The bottom part of the asteroids was on fire as they descended towards them. Soon after, everyone on the ground could feel the heat from the asteroids even though it was still high up in the sky.
The god narrowed his eyes.
"The gods from above are finally here," he said gravely. "Teacher's prediction came true, after all. Those people really dared to descend here for the treasure."
"Can you defeat them?"
The god heard Yun Ling's voice coming from behind.
"So you've woken up. That was fast."
"You didn't answer my question."
Normally, the god would've been angry at Yun Ling already and insult him, however, with how impressed he was at Yun Ling's performance earlier, he decided to humor him.
"The me right now is no match for any of those gods," the god said. "I've been in slumber for a long time. It will take me at least a few months before I regain my full power. For now, I can only display a portion of my power."
"..."
"That is why Teacher is awakening the other gods in slumber because he knew that I am nowhere near enough to stop those gods from coming here."
Yun Ling's brows furrowed. There was something he had been meaning to ask for a while now but couldn't find the opportunity to ask.
"Why did you guys seal yourself in this world? Why did you willingly go to sleep for tens of thousands of years?"
The god looked at him as the image of incredibly powerful gods came into his mind.
Without any emotion on his usually arrogant face, he answered Yun Ling coldly, "That's something you don't need to know."
