"It has finally started," said an individual who was observing the sky in the Thousand Mountain Valley.

He had seen the exchange between the Immortal Willow Tree and the inhabitants of World of Terra who were inside the hundreds of flying ships, and couldn't help but lament that many lives were surely going to be lost in their war.

He let out a deep sigh when the immortal's branches destroyed six of the ships in a few seconds.

"From past to present, there's always conflict no matter what era it is," he said whilst shaking his head in dismay.

He had been through many wars that he had lost count of how many it was that he participated in. The amount of blood in his hands from the lives he took could easily make a sea of blood.

Truthfully, he was getting tired of it all.

All the fight...

All the wars...

All the conflicts...

He had long since gotten tired of it.

If only there was a world without conflict, no suffering, no pain, no greed, and no death...

How nice would it be?

Sadly, such things were impossible. So long as there were living beings around, conflict would always be there.

It was unavoidable.

It was a way of life.

It was in their nature.

That was why it was impossible.

He then sensed more forces from afar heading towards the Thousand Mountain Valley with an incredible speed.

He frowned at that discovery.

It would seem that the people from the other worlds were already on their way there. With their involvement, the war was surely going to be more bloody and chaotic than it was normally meant to be.

"They are here," he said softly to himself. "It's time to wake them up."

He was planning on waking up the slumbering warriors for he was sure that the powerful beings from above were going to join the war sooner or later to take possession of one of the Twelve Heavenly Grand Treasures of the universe.

In order for this world to remain intact, their assistance was necessary for those beings above would definitely do any means necessary just to get their hands on the treasure even if they must destroy the world.

That was just how attractive one of the Twelve Heavenly Grand Treasure was to them.

Somewhere in the Thousand Mountain Valley, an extremely handsome man said to his companion, "Milady... it seems like these mortals don't know their place. They dared to actually attack an immortal. They must be seeking death."

The woman, who was wearing a veiled hat that was covering half her face said nothing. Only her alluring, luscious lips could be seen due to her veiled hat.

Seeing no reaction from the woman, the handsome man continued speaking, "I wonder... is the mortal who escaped from the immortal months ago inside one of those flying ships?"

He let out a smile when he noticed a small reaction from the woman. The woman might have hidden it well but with how observant he was towards her every action, he was able to notice the corner of her lips curve down a bit.

Even while frowning, her lips were so attractive in his eyes that he wanted nothing more at that moment but to press his lips against hers.

But he refrained from doing so.

It wasn't time yet.

While suppressing his desire, he spoke normally, "If he is... then he will surely be killed by the immortal sooner or later. No matter how many Sacred Kings they have, when the immortal lets go of all inhibitions and start a massacre, none of them will survive."

For now, the immortal wasn't truly going all out yet since it was conserving its strength for the bigger enemies that had yet to come. It was guarding the treasure while harassing its enemies from afar.

If the immortal became truly angry and went all out... then even his and his milady's lives would be in danger, not to mention, those mortals.

"Milady... when that mortal dies, I wonder what sort of reaction will you have?" the handsome man taunted, intent on seeing more reactions from her. "Will you grief? Will you be sad? Will you be happy? Will you pity him? Or will you be as indifferent as always? I'm truly looking forward to it."

Though the woman was wearing a veil that was covering the upper part of her face, the handsome man's smile widened when he noticed her glare from the small gap of her veil.

Ah! This woman... no matter what kind of reaction she had, she was as beautiful as ever. She didn't let down her title as the number one fairy, not only in their sect but in their entire country.

He wanted her so badly. He wanted to make her his alone!

Just thinking of other males laying their eyes on her already made him rage. That was why when he finally got his hands on her, he would lock her somewhere else...
