I try to slow down my breathing as much as I can. Too much energy spent. Too much.

Breathe. Conserve. Heal.

Haa... Like that could be called a heal, a bit of improvement over a normal human's healing. As a bit of strength returns to my limbs I look around. A few goblins screaming and crawling away from me. A blind troll running around. Shit, forgot about this one. I start to slowly walk towards them. Scanning the ground I find what's left of my sword, in the same location I left it. I wobble over to a pair of dead trolls and pulled what was left of my sword, the lower half of it, out of its eye. Ahh shit, an eye came out with it, I don't want to touch it, so I clean it off on a nearby wolf corpse.

Slowly I go around and finish anything still breathing or moving. One thing I've learned through experience is that when a limb is lost, no matter who loses it, they typically lose fifty-to-eighty percent of their offensive capabilities. With trolls though, it's a bit harder. Fucking tough ass hide of theirs. Three meters tall, four-hundred kilos of muscle, thick hide, and dumber than a fucking rock.

After finishing everyone around the blind troll is the only one left. The blind troll is about fifteen meters away and searching for me. Taking a deep breath of fresh air I stop. Damn, I smell like hell.

Looking around I find a severed leg of a goblin. I grab the leg and throw it a few meters from me. The troll snaps towards the sound and jumps to where the sound came from. It's back was towards me. So I proceed to do the most logical thing, which is exploring how deep a trolls asshole is. A shame I have such a short tool. I quickly jump back and roll out of its way. Come on, die faster, you should have died a long time ago from blood loss.

His voice changed a "tiny" bit after my action. As he searches for me, it hits me, it's not a he but a she...well "it" would be fine too. Seems she's not into anal. What a pity. I should end this quickly. She's coming closer. Taking a limb laying around and throw it directly at the troll. She instinctively catches the limb with both her hands and jaws. But it's too late, I'm already under her. As I stab my uncircumcised sword into her neck, she tries to catch me but I'm already out of her reach. She makes a few gurgling noises vaguely resembling coughs and falls into the the snow.

Finally. I don't have much energy left. In this state I won't even reach the base. I need food, whatever is left of my ration is already useless. I need meat. Lucky for me I have a veritable buffet to select from. Goblin, skinny little things barely any meat on their bones. Wolves, Plenty of meat, but it'll take some work. And lastly troll, meat so tough it might as well be rock.

I sigh, as I look for the goblin leg that I threw before, a small snack to give me enough energy to carve up some decent meat from the wolves.

Life goes on huh.
