《The One Luna》The Most Overpowered Agimat

The moment the ETZ bit off it's head, the cockroach leaders body fell to the ground. He proceeded to hunt the for more. What he didn't expect was that the leader wasn't quite dead yet. Even with it's head cut off, the cockroach leader still struggled, swiping it's legs uncontrollably, sweeping the ETZ off-balance before finally dying.
The rest of the roaches swarmed the ETZ on the ground and devoured him. Finally, one roach dealt the killing blow, evolving further, making itself even stronger, more advanced. It proceeded to devour the previous leader. Just as it was celebrating it's meal, another ETZ went straight towards it.
The other roaches stood in front of their new leader, but before the ETZ could even get to them, a branch grew out of a tree and shot towards it's head. It was something nobody would ever expect, and it caught even the hulking zombie off-guard, impaling it's head.
Apparently, their new leader was an adventurous little roach, while everybody was gathered here, he had gone exploring, using his ability to fly, to avoid the zombies on the ground. He had flown over to Bohol, and managed to get close enough to study up to rank 1 of the Wood element. Getting the previous leader was all a part of his plan.
He stood up on two legs, spread his wings to make himself look bigger as he held the spear from before on his hand. "I.... am the.... leader... now!"

Negros Island, Base.
"Lord Luna." and elderly man greeted as Luna exited the spatial gate.
Luna had a gentle smile on his face as he greeted back. "Elder Aran, thank you for your fast action regarding the spider webs."
"Not a problem at all. We had a few Mage battalions there to begin with after your previous order, so the ones specializing on Fire have been making short work of them." He reported.
"That's good. The Mutant beasts are having a civil war among themselves at the moment. They're only being held back by themselves and the zombies." Luna explained.

Noticing the relic being held by Luna, Elder Aran's finally couldn't help but ask after he already finished his report. "My granddaughter is tending to the right now, so my hands are free. I'll keep an extra eye on the Eastern walls. But, Lord Luna, if I may ask. Is that possibly an Agimat on your hands?"
"I figured you'd know what it is. Yes, indeed it is. Although it only affects Mutant Beasts."
"I see. I'm guessing you're going to plant in our territory soon, yes?"
"Correct." Luna raised an eyebrow. It seems the Elder definitely knew something, which isn't surprising.
"Then in that case, we better pull back all the troops we have on the outer perimeters."
"Pull them all back?"
"Yes, Lord Luna. If you've noticed, some of the zombies have been slightly getting stronger, yes?"
"I have. Isn't that because they've been killing mutant beasts as well?" Luna asked. He already somewhat figured out where this was headed.
"That's partly true. But you have to know that some of them grow stronger, but they also inevitably die to another mutant beast. They're not like us, they don't know when to pull back or how to slowly and safely increase their strength."
"So you're saying someone, somewhere on Earth has already installed an Agimat?"
"Indeed. But the fact that the evolution of the zombies are inconsistent could only mean one thing."
Remembering the explanation Sura gave him before, about how the Gods couldn't spare anymore energy to keep the portals from the void completely closed. It was the main reason why the regular zombies from before could spawn in their world, but only limited to the weaker ones at first.
Until they started capturing the first territories which prompted the arrival of stronger invaders. Elder Aran compounded on this statement as well, saying that once the first small territory was conquered, the energy was provided and readied for all of the remaining small territories. The same goes for the medium and large ones. Thankfully, the energy needed for each individual territory wasn't that much in the grand scheme of things. If the stronger monsters from the void were released, they would all be done for.

"So you're saying that after they planted the Agimat, they were invaded on all sides. The reason for the inconsistency in zombie evolution, was that they probably failed. Thus the Agimat ceased to belong to any nation again. Correct?"
"Indeed."
"It seems I've been too careless. Thank you, Elder Aran."
"Not a problem, Lord Luna."
"Oh, by the way, one more thing. If you remember that after I got the Agimat, I sent out an order that if someone was to find one, resembling an Agimat, to not touch it and report it to me."
"I received that order as well, Lord Luna. The reward for a set of gear upgraded to +6 and having their homes upgraded three times is quite appealing." Elder Aran replied.
"It seems they finally found the one hidden in Mt. Kanlaon."
"Good news! Hopefully we get a good one." Elder Aran clapped his hands together. The more Agimats, or Relics as they called them in his world a nation had, the stronger they would be for the final phase.
Luna was stroking his chin. As he pondered on what the Elder just said. "Do you know what kind of Agimats there are?"
Elder Aran smiled. He had much knowledge to share, but overloading people with it won't do much good, unless it was something crucial to the current situation.
"The one you're holding emits a certain amount of knowledge, once that can be expanded on if you invest currency in it."
"Oh? So it can be upgraded?"
"Indeed, yes, but the amount needed increases at a staggering amount. There's always a chance that a relic, erm, excuse me, an Agimat would come upgraded. The ones that contain elemental knowledge start off at rank 1 knowledge."
"This one is up to rank 3." After calling for Elder Jax, he asked him. "Did you upgrade the Agimat beforehand?"
"Yes, Lord Luna. We didn't know about the system, you see, or at least, we weren't evolved enough to even comprehend or remember it when it was announced. So all of our VIS currencies went to the Agimat. But in order for it to reach rank 4 knowledge, I'm afraid.." Elder Jax scratched his head. "It costs 1 Billion Vis and it has a 10% chance of failing."
"Oh." Luna was stumped. Even their own national treasury barely had half of that amount. Especially since they constantly spent their Vis as well. Otherwise they definitely would have enough to do one attempt.
Elder Aran continued. "As I said, it goes up by quite a lot. You'll also need to decide on which ones are worth upgrading. The most highly valued ones are the EXP Agimats, it played quite the part in helping the Dark Elves' leader attain Demi God rank before our own."
"It just increases the amount of EXP per kill?"
"Oh it does more than that. After a certain point, relying on kills to get stronger becomes exponentially harder, unless you kill someone just as strong if not stronger than yourself. What the EXP Agimat does is more in-depth. It helps you digest all that you've learned thus far. Comprehension of Anitos or Elements, and comprehending what you learned overall in battle. It increases your comprehension at a certain rate."
"That does seem quite overpowered." Luna commented.
Elder Aran added another crucial detail. "One thing to note is that it raises your current comprehension ability. So those with higher comprehension would benefit from it more than others."
"What about the other ones?" Luna asked.
"We might need to sit down for this one." Elder Aran replied.
