《The One Luna》Good Riddance

There were still quite a number of people who were too afraid. They were frozen in place from fear. Nobody could be bothered with trying to convince them any longer, as the rampaging mutant beasts will be reason enough sooner or later.

"Grandma, please! We have to leave!" A young woman was crying, as she had been trying her best to convince her Grandmother to leave with her.
On a bed was an old woman with wheat brown skin. She didn't have the look of a person who was sickly, on the contrary, she looked healthy on the outside.
"There, there, my sweet Sora. I've lived in this house all my life, including my mother and father before me. I don't have much to live for, and if possible, I'd like for this to be my final resting place." She patted her on the head, caressing her jet black hair, then stroking her cheek. "You look just like your mother."
She recalled all her past memories, up the point where her husband passed away. Even the time where her daughter and son-in-law died defending her and Sora. Only to helplessly watch as this 18 year old girl not only had to witness her parents dying, but having to kill them again as zombies right after.
"But Grandma, we can continue to level you! You can add more Vitality and be even healthier than before, right?!" Sora interrupted her reminiscing.
"My organs have been failing, my dear. Not even this new world's system can help me live past a few months from now." At first, she was quite hopeful.
An increase in Vitality would increase her life force, right? It did, but even the passive regeneration she received from being painstakingly leeched by Sora until level 30 was not enough to keep up with the damage she received from her failing organs.
At this rate, she would only last, at most, possibly 3 months. Her diet didn't help at all. All they had were what they got from the grocery stores. They weren't like the Sovereign Nation where they basically have Mt. Kanlaon as a constant source of Mutant Beast meat or the staggering amount of Mages that could constantly electrocute mutant beasts by the coast in order to bring back for food.

"Grandma, please! Do it for me! You're the only one I have left. If you die here, then I'm dying with you." Her resolve could be seen through her eyes. The only reason she stayed strong was because of her grandmother.
"Sigh. Such a hard-headed child. Alright, let's go. But you have to promise to leave me when it comes to a choice of my life or yours."
"Alright!" She then transferred her Grandmother to her wheelchair and strapped her in. This wheelchair was electric. It could be charged normally or it could be charged through solar energy. It was a bit reckless, but they both moved at maximum speed.
"We'll make it Grandma! We're gonna take the ramp by Ferdinand's compound. I heard the evacuation vehicle is up there. Maybe they finally got a plane, yeah?" Sora tried to be as positive as she could be. She was aware that even the most advanced aircraft that had the capability of vertically landing on top of the wall, couldn't possibly fit everyone.

Inside Ferdinand's compound.
"Where is Ferdinand?" Luna asked one of the guards. Cilapu and Sura were right behind him.
"Who are you? Cilapu?! What are you doing here?!" Noticing Cilapu who was right behind, the guards drew their weapons.
"You'd go after me when Lord Luna, the leader of the Sovereign Nation is before you? Only Ferdinand would put idiots on guard duty." Cilapu could care less. If these idiots wanted to die, they could go ahead and do so.
"Sovereign.. You mean THE Sovereign Nation? As if! Nice bluff! Cut these fools dow--" But before he could even finish his sentence, he suddenly felt as if the world went upside down and back again. Only to find out that it was actually his head spinning in mid-air. He had been beheaded without even knowing how.
"I'll ask one more time. Where is Ferdinand?"
The soldiers were still stunned. Before they could answer, Luna heard someone from inside the metal door. "One more round, baby!" It was Ferdinand. Apparently before Luna got here they were done fornicating and were resting for a bit. Luna's hearing was definitely not to be underestimated. Only he actually heard their voices from outside.

He stepped forward and sent a fist hurtling towards the door, sending it flying.
The guards mouths were agape, even Cilapu's eyes went wide. Truth be told, if he found out that Luna merely got lucky with his possessions,, and there was a way to stage a coup d'etat and lead him to a trap, he would do so. How could he possibly know just how strong Luna was, let alone the Sovereign Nation as a whole?
He had a slab of metal just like the door, he would use it to take advantage of his regenerative capabilities and use it as a punching bag to create more micro-fractures in his bones. This was using the concept explained by Elder Aran, which was body training. It didn't show in stat form, but it was there. But no matter how many times he trained on the same slab, he at most dented it.
Luna actually sent it flying off it's hinges in one punch! "This guy can't possibly be human!" he thought to himself. Meanwhile, Luna already tossed aside the 'entrance' to the Ferdinand's secret room. Seeing the naked trio inside, he grabbed Ferdinand and Miguel, tossing them in front of Cilapu.
"Would you like to have the pleasure?"
Cilapu hesitated. It's true that he and Ferdinand had come to blows, but even when their men fought, the hesitation to kill was still there. At most they injured each other before Ferdinand would decide to flee.
"Lord Luna, this.. I, I've never actually killed a man before."
"Oh? I heard this man ignored your people when they were begging to be saved from the rat tide." Luna knew of Cilapu's fighting prowess, but he didn't think the man was incapable of killing. Truth be told, he already felt sick when he cut flesh of another human being.
He couldn't be blamed, even Luna admittedly felt a bit nauseous during his first time. Just that he knew, that as someone looked up to as the leader, he couldn't show any sign of weakness.
"Oh well, this makes things easier." He contacted Elder Jax who was standing guard outside. "Elder Jax, this is the man responsible for killing some of your brothers."
No one could tell by Elder Jax's expression how angry he was. But upon looking at his eyes, the red veins were more than enough of an indicator.
"Please, no! No! I deserve a fair trial!" Miguel started screaming. Ferdinand to the side looked as if he had already lost all of his energy. His face was pale, his head was tilted to the side, and there was a puddle of liquid, right beneath him. Apparently he had already pissed himself.
BOOM! Elder Jax's punch connected onto Miguel's abdomen. sending him flying towards one of the concrete walls opposite of Ferdinand's metal walled secret room. Webs of cracks spread everywhere as he slid down, and breathed his last.
"As much as I want to savor the moment, I value Lord Luna's time." He then stepped forward towards Ferdinand, placed his foot behind his head, and stomped down on it. Bones cracking could be heard as the guards, even Cilapu started puking on the spot.
Ferdinand now looked as if he was orally pleasing himself. A shameful way of dying indeed.
