《The One Luna》First Blood

January 13, 2090. Bacolod City, known as the City of Smiles, was a bustling metropolis located in the Philippines.
In SM Megamall, Luna was finishing up his grocery shopping, "Hey Boni, be at my house in 30 minutes, alright?"
"Sure bro, make sure you buy enough supplies, alright? We're not leaving your house for a month!" replied a voice from the other line.
It was currently 9:03PM, both of them had reserved the next month to no-life "Fused Worlds Online," one of the most anticipated MMORPGs which was set to have Global servers and promised no launch day hiccups when it launched at 3:00AM (GMT+8).
---------------
2:59 AM
Luna and Boni were preparing themselves and had their log-in credentials ready, there was 30 seconds left before the game officially launched when they both heard a booming voice in their heads as time seemed to have stopped.
"My children, of the myriad worlds in existence, you all have evolved the least, existing comfortably as the apex predators of Earth. All of that ends today, you must fight, struggle, and evolve! Only then will the human race survive what is to come." and then the voice disappeared as suddenly as it had come.
Information suddenly flooded Luna's mind.

"Are we in.. an MMORPG?" he thought as he looked around, only to notice that him and Boni were still in his room.
"Sooo, the MMORPG came to us?" Asked Boni, in a bewildered tone.
"I've read stories about this before, but it was always people getting transported into another world, but whatever the case, allocate your stat points first." Luna urged Boni, he had a very bad feeling about what was to come.

"Alright bro, I put 10 in Strength, 10 in Dexterity, and 10 in Vitality for now." Boni replied, he was used to playing the stalwart defender in MMORPGs, so he opted to put the last 10 in Vitality for now.
"Sounds good, I'll do the same but put the last 10 in Agility for now, that way we know how much of a difference 10 stat points makes in terms of speed." as they both rummaged through their "inventory" they found an intro manual, and a wooden club.

-----------------------------

*DING* Summoning Commencing.
Right after hearing that announcement in their heads, two zombies spawned right beside them, Boni, caught by surprise could only hold up his weapon and stop it from getting closer.
Luna, on the other hand, whether due to him being gifted in terms of mechanics, or him raising his Agility stat, reacted fast and swung his wooden club and hit the zombie right on the temple, knocking it down, as he continued to smash his club on it's head four more times. When the zombie died, it seemed to have turned into black dust, and faded, then a lingering wisp entered Luna's body, raising his EXP, as well as something that looked like a coin with the word "VIS" on top and the number "1" in the middle got absorbed as well, which increased his counter by 1.
*FIRST BLOOD*
Another message popped up in Luna's mind, "Congratulations, you are the first person to eliminate an opponent in this new world, as such you will receive a reward given only to you who has adapted the fastest."
Right after receiving that message, Luna got a notification that something appeared in his inventory, it was a purple chest.
-----------------------------
Item: First Blood Reward Chest
A reward exclusively given to the person who was the fastest to adapt to the new world.

El's Revenge
“Revenge is not for the dead- we, as the living, take revenge to relieve the burden we feel,” I whispered into the air. “Salvation for the people who suffered because of you,” I watched as the city burned in the flames. “Salvation for the people like me, who believed in the proclaimed heroes when in reality they were the devils.” I smiled faintly as the ‘holy land’ of those ‘saints’ was destroyed. I heard rustling sounds as Charlotte came to stand next to me, grabbing my hand. “El, are we the bad guys?” If I was still the same as I was before, I might’ve broken down and started crying. Now, it was different. “A villain is just another victim. They cry and mourn, it’s just that no one heard, leading them into madness. It’s one of the reasons why we know the most, but care the least.” I took a deep breath. “We may be the bad guys in other peoples’ eyes, but in my story, we’re the heroes.” Charlotte took in my words for a while and pondered, before nodding in agreement. “As children, we loved the heroes, as adults we understand the villains.” I looked at her and bonked her on the head, earning an angry glare from her. “Hey! You’re barely an adult yourself you know,” she grumbled. I laughed and ruffled her hair, before countering her. “At least I’m not 12. You can’t even be considered a teenager at that age.” After that, we silently watched the flames ravage the land, before leaving.
