Thought I had dropped this ? Of course I haven't. If you haven't dropped it either yet, thank you very much, and if you did, well I understand.

Sorry for the hiatus, anyway. If you're wondering why I stopped posting, the reason is simple ; I lost motivation. I had things to do in real life, I had a large surge of laziness, and I simply didn't like anymore what I had planned for the story. Don't know if it ever happened to any of you guys who are also writing, but I just felt like the remaining arcs of my novel were shit. Trying too hard to add deep, epic plots and grim seriousness when it doesn't really belong to the story. Or perhaps it does, but I haven't got the slightest clue about how to do it well. Even the comedy was getting repetitive and predictable.

So I pushed all this to the back of my mind for some time, instead of forcing myself to write what I had originally planned even if I was dissatisfied with it. I started writing another story in the meantime, so I had less and less motivation to keep going with this one. I admit I wanted to drop it for a moment, because I had no idea how to continue this in a way I deemed okay. Now I'll make it clear : I still haven't figured it out 100%, but I have some ideas, and I know how I'll end it (it's not too different from the original ending, actually).
