《A Dark God In An Otherwise Godless Multiverse》Chapter 119: The First Witch And Science (NSFW)

Seconds after willing away the notification that explained the powers of a patron, I opened my eyes. Qu'Ren was seated in front of me, her eyes closed, an amused smile on her lips. As I looked at her and studied her smile, I felt a flicker of happiness within me. It was an odd feeling for the power-obsessed dark elf to evoke in anyone.
"You look like you're having fun." I told her, now also grinning. She grinned wider, keeping her eyes closed.
"Of course I am." She said, confidently. "I am about to gain considerable power. For me, that's the definition of a fun time." She told me, proudly. I nodded at her, aware that she wasn't lying. She opened her eyes and looked at me. Her eyes were glued to my chest, and I smirked at her.
"Ahem. My eyes are up here." I told her, jokingly. She looked up at me, blood rushing to her cheeks in a moment of slight embarrassment. She had a playful grin on her lips though, an expression she had practiced and mastered over the course of her centuries of life.
She met my gaze, staring into my eyes openly. "Not many would look a god in the eyes directly." I told her, a faint admiration of her audible in my voice.
She winked at me and responded to what I had just told her confidently. "You can't compare me to 'many' others." She said, proudly. I chuckled. Our eyes continued to be locked.
A nice atmosphere filled the chamber, as we stared into each other's eyes. Seconds later, when we began to laugh, the chamber was filled with genuine mirth.
After we shared a few seconds of laughter, a new silence filled the space we shared. A pleasant one. A comfortable silence shared between two friends. A weird relationship, but not one I disliked. I wonder if our relationship will change once I become her patron. I thought, but just for a moment.
Yes it will. Qu'Ren will become the first of something once lost. Like me. She'll become the first true witch in... an unimaginably long time. She'll be... elevated. I thought, keenly aware after a moment of introspection that her life was about to be changed forever.
"Qu'Ren... we... you, are about to change the world." I said, abruptly. She looked at me, curiosity visible in her eyes.
"How?" She asked, a desire to understand audible in her single-word sentence.
I didn't hesitate with my response. "You are about to become the first true witch the entire world and probably the universe has seen in an unknowable number of years." I told her, in awe of the idea of that.
"You'll be like me in a sense. Someone who is a resurrection of something once believed to be lost." I explained, allowing joy to seep into my voice. She was silent as she considered that.
"You aren't wrong..." She said, after analyzing what I had just told her. I grinned at her and asked her a simple question.

"Are you ready to change the world?"
She nodded and grinned at me.
When I activated my branding power I was surprised to find that it caused a physical change in me. My hand began to heat up, and the skin on it changed color, becoming a dark red rather than the shade of charcoal it had been before.
In front of me, Qu'Ren began to shiver, her eyes locked on my red hand. Oh boy... I thought after seeing her reaction. I placed my other hand on the side of her face gently, cupping it, and grinning at her in a way that I hope set her at ease.
This is going to hurt, isn't it? I thought, asking myself a rhetorical question. I knew, possibly via some weird divine intuition that the second I touched her skin with my red hand that she'd experience significant pain as my magic wormed its way into her.
"Are you ready?" I asked her, locking eyes with the dark elf once more. She nodded.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be." She said, her muscles taut as she straightened her posture and presented herself to me.
"Alright, it'll begin on the count of three." I told her, giving her a second to decide to keep her eyes open or to close them.
"One... two... three." When I said the word "three" I let my instincts take over, guiding me so that I could do this correctly. I took my red-hot hand and gently moved it until I was touching the soft skin of her exposed breast.
I flinched when I heard her react to my touch by hissing in pain. She squirmed against the heated bite of my power, as I felt it surge into her. My hand grew hotter still as potent power roared into being within me and promptly fled me via my hand to enter and empower her.
Mystical energy was being spontaneously generated within me, being created from nothing like I appear to have been. That same energy immediately fled my core, energetically flowing from my chest, to my hand, and then into her.
Qu'Ren was in pain, but she was enduring it wonderfully after the initial shock caused her to flinch. She kept her eyes open and glued to me. Her mouth was open, and her lips trembled, but I could sense that she was feeling more than just pain in this moment.
It was true that Qu'Ren felt pain, but a flicker of excitement burned within her. When my magical power left me and found a home within her, it immediately began to empower her, reforging her body from the inside out and making her stronger. And the more energy that entered her, the less pain she felt.
In a matter of seconds, her lips began to snake upward, in a pleasant and dazed smile. And at that moment I noticed that my hand was beginning to lose its keen glow. It wasn't an abrupt change, but an inspection of my red-hot hand showed me that the glow was less pronounced than before.

The entire process took approximately one hundred seconds. At the one hundred second mark my hand was back to the shade of charcoal it had been before, and Qu'Ren's left breast looked different. My hand had also lost the last of its heat.
I had focused on the dark elf's face while she was being branded, and hadn't watched my brand, perhaps the strangest and darkest magic I had to date, stain her body.
Qu'Ren's right breast was the same as the rest of her body, but her entire left breast was now covered in small, birth-mark like imperfections in the shape of tiny diamonds. I looked at them, intently and in doing so unintentionally got closer to her to more properly examine them.
"Wow... they are actually quite pretty." I said, idly remarking on them. Qu'Ren was quiet for a moment, no doubt taking in the interest I had in her tit. She smiled at me and prepared a witty remark.
"I'd say since I'm showing you mine you could show me yours, but since you always do I'll just say that you could kiss them if you want... and I'm not talking about the diamonds." She remarked, grinning. I chuckled, and for a moment considered it seriously.
Instead, I decided to tease her back, all while playing with her a bit.
I drew back my face back a bit and continued to study the dark elf I had made into my first witch. And then I spoke.
"Alright, this is new territory for both of us." I told her, truthfully. "And so... we need to conduct some experiments. In the name of science." I confidently explained, before slyly providing a false justification for what I was about to do.
She giggled and nodded at me. "In the 'name of science' and nothing else. This is purely academic." She said, her voice soft but confident, smooth and flirty. This time I smiled and then winked at her. And then I began to speak, doing my best to sound professional and objective.
"First, my lovely little test-subject, we need to see if the birthmarks affect your sensitivity." I told Qu'Ren. She giggled when she heard me call her my "little test-subject", which was unsurprising.
"And how do we do that?" She asked, speaking innocently and as if she had no clue what I was about to suggest.
"Well, we need to compare and contrast of course. It's a simple process. Do you trust me?" I asked her, beginning to truly enjoy myself.
She was taken back a bit by the question, and I chuckled. She thought about it, silently, for a second before responding. "Yes. I do. I understand our relationship. I worship you, providing you with something you desire, and you grant me power. Which is what I desire. I trust that. So yes." She said, allowing a brief moment of seriousness into our moment of fun. I chuckled.
"I'm glad you trust me Qu'Ren. And now I need you to harness that trust and obey me." I said, grinning at her and wondering how I'd feel watching her do what I was about to command her to do.
"If you trust me, drag your fingernail across your right breast. As soon as I get comfortable and can watch you more easily. All for 'science' of course." I told her, before using a custom magic effect to create an armless chair that I could sit on. She grinned at me, surprisingly demurely which was in and of itself cute. I sat down and nodded at her to proceed.
She closed her eyes and then rose her hand so that it was within arm's reach of me. And then she drew it back before nearly completely closing her fist. All of her fingers aside from her index finger formed an imperfect fist. Her index finger, a slim thing with a long nail, was the only digit that remained free. And then she began to do as she was told.
The elf slyly drew her fingernail to her bare chest, over her right breast. Her fingernail touched her skin. And then she began to draw the thing downward, slowly and dramatically. I grinned at this display, as she lethargically moved her digit closer and closer to the soft skin of her breast.
She purred in silky pleasure when her nail first touched the upper part of her breast and sped the thing's trajectory a bit. I watched, amused by the display, as the elf's lips opened wider when her cold nail reached the top of her areola.
"Remember this feeling Qu'Ren. After all you're gonna need to compare it to how you feel when you touch your other breast." I told her, reminding her of the "purpose" of our little game.
She smiled at that reminder, and at the promise of more "experimentation". She then pressed onward, as slow as possible. As if afraid that I'd deny her pleasure as soon as she made contact with her nipple. Now that I think about it... that's not a bad idea. I thought, entertaining the idle observation for a second, before disregarding it.
By the time her nail touched her nipple, the thing was a hardened nub, sensitive to the slightest pressure and the most subtle stimulation. I watched, enraptured by the display she was putting on, which was a surprise to me. I was even tempted to go out and see how she reacted to my presence, but I held myself back.
Well... who knew that I could enjoy these sorts of displays? There's a sort of... artistry to this I hadn't seen yet. I thought, genuinely surprised that the display of submission and that this game of ours could be interesting to me. This requires... further study. I told myself, and I found, to my annoyance that a small part of me was thrilled by that idea.
And then I refocused on the scene before me. Qu'Ren and I spent the next quarter of an hour "conducting research" on her branded and non-branded chest, before beginning to uncover the nature of her new eldritch abilities.

8 4876The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
