《A Slip Of The Force》Chapter 4 - A Job Well Done - Part 2

*Hroom* *Fsh*
I’m currently zooming through a lush green forest, at break neck speeds on a speeder bike. The air passing through my tendrils, flowing through my green cloak and overloading sense as the air hits my body full on. Its very thrilling and I can even feel something pulling at me subconsciously calling to me, to stop and take it in my surroundings. But I cant I’ve work to do, people to kill.
I’ve been travelling for two days now heading towards the Kulask mountain range. It spans near half a the country and is well away from civilisation. As I the forest began to thin out I activated my cloaking device, Slowing to a stop at the base of the mountain.
I make sure to line myself up with the hangar entrance, two thirds of the way up the mountain. Flat out it would take me a good 30 seconds to reach it, but unfortunately it isn’t left open and only opens to approaching recognised craft.
As such I’ve come up with the simple plan of waiting for a ship to approach and time my ascent with it. Then as I get under and past the craft I’ll throw an explosive charge at the ship, then zoom away and blow it as it passes the entrance; hopefully getting rid of the entrance. Then I’ll tear through the base aiming for the ventilation system to deploy the poisonous gas followed by reaching the command centre and lock the base down. Then rinse and repeat with the other base, thankfully I don’t have to redo the entrance as there is a long underground connecting tunnel.
Oh speaking of here comes a ship. I zoom off reaching max speed in seconds and fly up the mountain, tucking my body in and weaving in between the larger rocks passing them by mere centimetres. I was coming up fast on the ship and threw the charge at the ship, hearing a metallic clang and pushed the speeder to dive at the entrance. Throwing two thermal detonators to either side, I passed the shocked guards as my cloak deactivated. Seconds later everything exploded in a fiery hell and a heavy rumble.
Navigating the corridors was rather difficult, as they were somewhat tight for my speeder. Resulting in me smashing side long into the walls occasionally, running over those not fast enough to jump out of the way, sometimes with an agonising wale.
I slide to a stop outside some rather thick looking doors connect up the computer interface and start hacking to open the door. It takes a couple seconds but I get it, upon entering the room I find some computers and a large machine that likely house the detection system for materials. I access the system turning off the detector, then set the ventilation to recycle the inside and make it a closed system. I place the gas bomb inside the system and close it, making sure weld it shut so it cant be opened, the destroy the computer and make my leave and jam the door.
With that part of the plan completed I go to the next step, the command centre where I will put the base in lock down and seal everyone’s fate. A few minutes, wall grinds and speed ‘bumps’ later I reach the command centre in relative ease. But find that the room itself has gone into lockdown and hear a stampede of boots getting louder.

Without much choice I go for through the door, after throwing some thermal detonators towards the incoming boots, I commence in cutting a large circle in the door, towards the end shots come flying my way even hitting me knocking me off balance.
Annoyed I take it upon myself to deal with these annoyances. I grab my pistol and charge at them firing my own shots and downing three, getting in close I slice through one throat followed with a roundhouse and another shot to someone’s face. I then interlock my arm with another’s and spin around firing further shots into the group and then snap their neck with. With them all dealt with I head on back to the door and carry on cutting.
With the circle cut I kick it in and receive a barrage of shots some reflect off my chest while the others hit me burning my flesh. Seemingly unharmed for the large part I fire back walking towards the three gunman and take the down in quick succession. With all apparent threats dealt with I get to work hacking the computer to put the base in lockdown, except the path that leads to the other base.
Moving through the base I come across some people who make an attempt to stop me but they easily dealt with by a blaster. I make it down to the connecting tunnel and find that it has a train car to use. I opt to use it over my speeder bike as it’ll be quicker.
The train sets off with me and my bike aboard, hurtling down the dimly lit and slowly twisting tunnel. The low thrum in the background gives me a sense peace, a break from all the fighting and chance to rest, it should take about half an hour to get to the other side, where upon I shall dive back into the maelstrom that has become my life.
As I arrived it was clear that they knew I was coming, as when the train came into the station it was blown up with me and my bike inside. The wreckage was further peppered with rockets burying me deeper into the ground. Waiting for it to abate I exploded out and jumped up the platform and grabbed onto the leg of one of my assailants who was looking over the edge. I pulled him over as I pulled myself up. Then a gun fight broke out as I charged forward, going for cover, as I moved my cloak was being torn apart along with various belts and pouches.
Behind cover I checked over my equipment and found I only had my gun, knife and computer interface. Sighing I decided to amend my plan, rather than poison them all I would go for the ventilation system, and program it to vent all the breathable air out of the place so as to suffocate the everyone. Then go and put the place into lockdown.
With the plan in place I made for the exit and fire off covering fire and then hightailed it away and shot a number of people in the way. The trip was rather uninterrupted and managed to alter the system. I then made my way towards the command centre and found that they had fortified and hunkered up inside likely to impede me. Seeing this I decided to just leave after destroying the entrance, effectively trapping everyone inside the two mountains to die.

Upon reaching the hangar I’m met with one freighter ship, three shuttles and two star fighters. Making the obvious choice of the fighter I began sabotaging the other ships, when done I got into my new fighter and made to swivel around and shoot the other ships and then leave and shoot the entrance.
With the mountains dealt with I flew on to the final part of this long mission, the Hutts. It took 15 minutes to get in sight of the city and I made for my approach. Firing at one of their towers shooting rockets creating a massive explosion, I then aim the fighter towards the centre building, when I get past the forts wall I jump out of the ship to leave it to careen with into the building. Rolling as I land to survey the destruction I see a massive fireball.
Well with little else to do I head on in, knife and gun in hand. Charging on in slicing throats shooting heads, it was fairly easy catching people off guard. I was able to ignore a number of guards as they had to deal with the fire. It was also fairly easy to navigate my way through to where the Hutt resides on account of how spacious the particular passages are.
Quidarph’s POV
“Ahh! What the hell is going on?!”
For the last four months, some bastard has been tearing through my damned organisation and no one even knows who the hell is responsible. I put bounties out on the one responsible but none ever found them. Even posted multiple watchers on potential targets, and they were either killed or were posted on the wrong targets. Its like I’m fighting a blasted wraith, moving unnoticed and slaughtering by the hundreds. And I can only assume it’s coming for me soon, I got word that the last city I hold power over was lost yesterday.
This is why a few days ago I had my strongest bounty hunters and mercenaries gather at my palace and wait for the inevitable arrival of this reaper of lives. If it wasn’t for the fact that they had all but crippled my organisation I would hire them myself.
But I never expected this to happen, whilst enjoying my lunch feast there was a sudden and abrupt explosion towards on of my treasure towers and seconds later a ground shacking crash was felt on the other side of the palace.
“Damn it, he’s here isn’t he, that bastard. Guards! Guards! Get here now! I want this room filled now!”
I’m not going to die here. I’m going to crush this bastard like all others that have come after me before.
“I am Quidarph Anjiliac Bespa! Ruler of the goddamned underworld no will be beat me!”
It’s a tense 10 minutes until I begin to hear this beings approach, but all I do hear are the screams and pained cries of the useless guards I’ve employed. And then comes silence and the door slowly begins to raise even though it should be locked down. And before me on the other side of the door, is a tall purple biped unlike any I’ve seen before. Holding only a knife.
“Get them now!” I yell out.
My guards and bounty hunters immediately begin firing, but this wraith dances simply dances between the shots and deflects the ones that come to hit it. Getting closer every second.
As they get within combat range they swing their knife around instantly cleaving limbs, ducking in and out of limbs, re-directing blasters or blades to hit their comrades taking them down faster. It’s beautiful on a certain level enchanting even.
Before I realise it this wraith has dealt with all of my guards and I’m left alone in it. A single being stood among a field of the dead. Silence stretched out for what felt like an eternity as I stared at this untamed beast, until I lose my resolve and swing my tail round to crush it knowing that I would miss.
They quickly ambled up me and began filleting me, nothing that would kill me but painful as all hell, it also made moving around harder as it would only imbue pain in me. It only took them 20 seconds or so to fully immobilise me leaving me fully at their mercy. They stalk around me a few times just staring, no emotion on their face. Not speaking a word, eyeing me up.
“What is it?! What do you want from?! You contemptible bastard!”
Nothing at all. Like a robot. This is really going to be my end.
They walk off looking around the room, knocking over boxes until they come across some cooking oil used for my lunch and come back over pouring its contents over me. Knowing what they intend I make another attempt to squish them but am only met with a knife slicing through my tail.
Finished covering me they walk off to pick up a blaster and start shooting at me setting the flames alight.
“You bastard! You won’t get away with this, my family will avenge me! They will find you and they will kill everyone you know, leaving you to suffer knowing that you brought upon their suffering!”
I begin roaring as the pain over whelms and my consciousness begins to fade.
3rd POV
The Subject walked away from the burning castle, looking emotionless, unmoved from the massacre they had committed. As they made their way through the chaotic city they headed for the space port to return to their prison to await their next assignment. Beginning their legend as a reaper of lives and harbinger of The Black Sun.

Stories have always been a great and powerful way to Learn, Understand & Motivate our Imaan (Faith). So why not learn and experience some of the Best Stories of Islam to inspire and understand the importance of our lives...One of the ideas that made me compile this book was that Muslim parents while going to bed at night, instead of telling myth and fables to their children, may narrate to them such real and true stories of the golden age of Islam that will create in them an Islamic spirit of love and esteem for sahabah, and thereby improve their Imaan..These stories are taken from various websites, lectures and books and are well researched..These stories are not intended as biographies, but rather to provide a glimpse of the main incidents of each companion's life.
