《Re:Direction The Peak (Cultivation Tale)》CH. 212

While Min-Su was scared by his new teacher, Jin was eager to learn from his own. It could even considered beyond eagerness if you take into account the fact that his life was on the line. He didn't have to wait for long before she told him what would happen: "Listen closely. Even when you think you have understood the technique, I forbid you from using it. You will only have one chance to invade that being's mind and erase him. If you fail, you're the one that will be erased over there. So, until I allow you to, don't even think of attempting to. Since you would die. We both don't want that. Ok?"
Jin nodded. It would be stupid of him to entertain the idea of proceeding without being fully prepared. He loved to fight and was prepared to lose but that didn't mean he wanted to lose. Especialy in this kind of situation. He would learn. Then, he would win.
She liked the fiery gaze he looked at her with and proceeded to explain what would happen next: "What you need to comprehend is how to manifest this state of your 'existence' inside your soul sea first. Just like you said, right now, you have a 'body' inside your soul sea. This body is only the manifestation of your existence, your very soul, your everything in a way. I will be repeatedly forcefully invading your soul sea until you learn to control the manifestation of your existence consciously"
"Wait. How do I comprehend it?"
She grinned evily as she stated: "With time"
He felt himself forcefully brought back to reality as he opened his eyes. He was sweating. The statue sported the same grin as the woman that he met in his soul sea. And a seocnd later, he lost consciouness to awake once more in his soul sea.

She told him: "Get used to the sensation of your existence!"
He lost consciousness again.
And again.
And again...
...
Five years later, within his soul sea, Sarina Sempress sighed. It took three years for him to finally fully grasp his 'existence' which was only the pre-requisite of the technique. Then, she had to teach him for two more years before he managed to grasp the intra and extra manifestations. She didn't even bother counting how many times she forced herself in his soul sea. It could reach the millions of times... She just kept on spamming her technique for five years after all.
If not for the special situation, it would have been an impossible teaching method. Most experts take dozens of years to learn the technique. In fact, having one's soul sea invaded took a heavy toll on both the mind and body. If not for the corrupted entity keeping the body alive, he wouldn't have endured a single day alone. What's more, only in this array where time flowed while still being stopped could they do such a thing. After all, this was the only place where one did not need to eat, drink or sleep and such... This array created a time out of time itself. Even she had no idea how this was possible... But she knew how it worked and after centuries of studying, she found many ways to make use of its features.
One of them was to teach through experience. After enough suffering was inflicted, even a idiot would learn to speak. She believed in that saying. It proved right this time again. She pushed the kid beyond what was humanly possible thanks to this array and the results spoke for themselves. He could use a technique that should take decades to learn to experts after only five years. Well, he had limits. Unless he was in physical contact with the other being, he wouldn't be able to use it. But then again, she didn't need to teach him more. This was enough. He would be able to invade the corrupted being's soul sea.

That being said, it wasn't equal to him winning over there. After he asked her if he should go for it, she asked him: "How will you fight there?"
He opened his mouth as if ready to answer but no words came out. A second later, he closed his mouth and sighed. At least he was smart enough to understand some things. She sighed too and pointed behind him. He turned around and saw a gigantic ball that was his core surrounded by many spears that he made. All those he didn't use on the corruption when it invaded.
She said: "I will teach you how to take those with you now"
...
And that took only two weeks. She couldn't believe it. It took five years for the basics and he hadn't even fully mastered them, just enough to use them. Yet, he took only two weeks to understand and truly master such a powerful and complex technique. She had planned to have invade her remnant soul sea and have him fight her there. Well, she expected to beat him up until he ended up being enlightened and materialized a spear there... He did it after only a few tries.
She had never seen or heard of such a thing.
The process of using the shape of will in another's soul sea was many times harder than in one's own. What it required was a profound understanding of the 'image', something akin to a lifelong comprehension. How could a mere youngster have such deep knowledge and impression of this particular spear? Just what kind of weapon was it? How much time did he-... She had many questions about it. She couldn't comprehend how it was possible. In theory, he lacked the years! He wasn't old enough! He couldn't have spent enough time with his 'image' to be so quick to form it!
Then again, only Jin himself knew that he already lived once. The 'image' of this spear? It was something that never once left his memory. It was a part of 'him' in itself.
Regardless, she admitted that he was more than ready to erase the corruption.

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.

The Awakened
Mark was a data analyst that had recently landed a job in a company and his life was pretty normal if not a bit boring through upon meeting a mugger in an alley his life had a drastic change not neccesarily for the better. He stopped being a sleeper and saw a glimpse of the true form of the world which opened his eyes to a new life altogether. ============================================================================================== This is my first fiction and i am loosely basing this on Mage:The Awakening rulebook. Naturally i am going to change things a bit but i don't intend to make this a novel where the main character goes around changing the whole world. It will be based on a normal guy discovering a new world while trying to find his place in it. Also please write comments warning me about things such as development speed or unrealistic relations.
