23:00, UNDISCLOSED DATE AND LOCATION
The table is full of seated members each distinctively separated into their own factions. The leader is a long white-haired man with tan skin, bright russet eyes that are far too crocodile-ish to be anything but eyes belonging to a hungry crocodile. Wearing flowing robes and sandals, the old man rises to his feet. “Welcome everyone, I am pleased everyone has arrived despite the dangers involved. Now then shall we discuss the reasons for our coming here?” The crocodile changelings known as Sobek croaked.
A man with handsome Germanic features stands up showcasing his height as his chest bulges against his military uniform. The man runs a hand through his gorgeous think hair in frustration, while grinning a terribly wolfish smile. “Enough, how could you let this happen? You assured us, that the revolution would succeed? How on Earth did the human governments manage to stabilize?! I thought you took care of the problem, Atlas Starr?! So why are we here now?!” The wolf changelings known as Adolf growled.
The other crocodile Changelings narrow their glowing brown yellow eyes in anger. The other wolf changelings open their mouths revealing their teeth in threating reply. The other seated members warily move back in their seats lest fur and scales begin to fly at each other.
“Enough!” A dark-haired woman with scarlet eyes and impossibly pale skin roared. The two groups go silent as the curved woman in a sleek tight dress stands up. Her lips pull back in a dreadful smile revealing four large fangs. “Let us all remember why we are all here. We are here to destroy the humans. So, what, if we failed this time, it is only a minor setback on our path to ruling the humans. Now that our biggest enemy Atlas Starr dead, it shouldn’t be difficult to fulfill our plans if we combine our hands together. And despite our being current enemies, we all want the same thing, Earth,” said, the female member known as Clarise of the Sanguniem Vorpal.
The female S.V. runs her long snakelike tongue over her white glistening teeth. “While our ruling councils wish to see us co-exist with the humans, we know better. We are far superior to humans proven by our birth right of evolution, we should rule over them. Do we all not agree?” Clarise firmly said as the members of the other groups nod their heads in agreement.
“The Changelings wish for the open lands to rule, we see no problem with that. While the Esper’s wish for the cities to expand, which is also not a problem for my faction. But what my faction wants is only one thing the humans as live stock. We shall of course not take all of them, but take a considerable portion. We will return to our ancient homelands to rule,” Clarise hungrily said as she licked her lips. The other members of the table shudder in response to the evil hunger in the woman’s eyes. Not that they weren’t all predators, but their livestock were merely animals humanely put to death. But this particular faction of the S.V. in contrast enjoyed eating conscious living stock and if they were sapient even better.

The members of the table glance at each other knowing they are dealing with a madman, but it is far too late now, they cannot turn back. The leaders of each group nod as Clarise sits back down as the negotiation begin. Clarise motions for a subordinate to speak on her behalf as she hungrily imagines take a bite out of a terrified human. As a child, she had been given the chance to eat a black-market human. And since then, she had nevermore forgotten the sweet warm taste, that could never be satisfied by any other flesh and blood. Clarise’s lips curl into an evil triumphant smile chilling the core of the rest of the members of the table. And for a moment, their hearts are filled with pity for the ordinary humans, because no one deserved the terrible fate to perish under the hands of her faction.
The meeting finally concludes with parties agreeing to subtly aid each other in the destruction of the human governments. Clarise leads the way back to the hidden S.V. nest in nearby abandoned motel. Neatly dressed slaves wait at the doors of the abandoned motel to receive the masters. The masters make their way to the center of the motel, where a metallic scent grows ever stronger. The ruby red eyes of Clarise brighten as do the rest of her companions.
The doors of the center feeding chambers open to reveal the glorious preceding coming from within. The sweet terrified screams of terror create a pleasant melodic harmony to be enjoyed by all. The chained food desperately struggles as Sanguniem Vorpal of her faction kneel on the blood painted floor and bite into the struggling figure. The desperate actions of the slaves only increase the feeding frenzy as blood splashes onto the feeding creatures and the nearby surroundings. Slowly, the food grows weaker as the blood becomes ever sweeter with the taste of eminent death.
Clarise nears the weak food as the other Sanguniem Vorpal dart back. The figures bow as the Clarise kneels and gently places the food’s head onto her lap. “Fear not, all will end now. And you shall receive eternal glory for having fulfilled your duty as our food,” Sanguniem Vorpal. sincerely said.
Clarise gently lowers her lips to the flesh of his neck as if giving a kiss to a lover. Large hideous fangs spring forth as Clarise bites ravenously into the carotid artery. The food gurgles weakly as Clarise leisurely drinks every last drop of blood in the human body until there is no more left to be had.
Clarise lets out a soft gasp as her body arches backwards in pleasure at drinking the last shred of blood contained in the food’s vessel. The surrounding Sanguniem Vorpal let out sounds of envy at the coveted last feed. Drops of black blood drip from her lips as Clarise licks them clean with her dark violet snakelike tongue.

Immediately two male Sanguniem Vorpal offer her a hand up as they gently set her onto her feet. Clarise smiles and says, “Though of exquisite bloodline, this is a meager tasting in comparison to that of orgy of food we shall have. Human blood is equal to the aphrodisiac of the gods and only the best is suitable to appease the gods hungry appetites. We must ensure man to please our great goddess, Selena and present a bounty of sacrifices to her temples! We cannot fail.”
The surrounding Sanguniem Vorpal let out hisses of agreement in strange screeches. Clarise nods with pleasure before slinking towards a fearful feathered slave. The surrounding Sanguniem Vorpal take their cues and gleefully return to their horrifying feast of terror and blood. By the time the moon has begun to wane near a dozen of slaves have been eaten and more yet to come.

Elsewhere the leaders of the Esper and Changelings counsel in their own private meetings. Adolf eyes the quiet elderly Esper drinking tea. Adolf silently swallows a gulp and says, “Magei, once humanity is under our rule it is only a matter of time until the S. Vorpal’s betray us. Espers and Changelings are freakish food that grew became powerful to protect itself. Without humans to replenish our stocks as they plan, we will one day die out.”
The other Changelings members nod in swift agreement. The elderly Esper puts down his cup of tea as the rest of the Espers ears perk up to listen. “You youngsters so quick to act, but so very foolish. If we act now to destroy them, we will be seen as monsters as well. No, we wait,” Magei softly said. The Espers nod in approval as the Changelings rustle unhappily.
Magei swiftly adds, “But we shan’t rest with our hands crossed on our chest either. I believe the Changelings have access to a high secure facility is that not the case?” Adolf nods in response to the question. “Good, then I am sure, if you put your mind to it, you will gain valuable and controllable assets, but more importantly with zero strings attached,” Magei firmly stated.
Adolf nods in understanding as do the other Changeling leaders. “Good. Let us meet again under better circumstances,” Magei rasped and wobbles to his feet. Various Esper’s dart forward and aid the ancient Esper to his feet and aid him in hobbling away.
Adolf and the rest of the Changelings watch with relief the old figure being led away. Any fool would have judged that old man as feeble, but they knew better. That old man was one of the strongest Esper’s on the Esper council. And for such ancient man to have survived so long, pointed out there was a very devious mind behind that old façade.
Adolf and the members swiftly discuss the number of prisoners accessible and who could be released without being compromised. Finally, after a heated debate, Adolf reaches for his phone. A familiar voice of Warden Walter answers, “Yes, sir, how may I be of service?” What can be said, Warden Walter belonged to many clients. Especially those that paid, who was rather similar to that of a prostitute in knowing what to do and say to get paid.
Adolf disliked speaking to the sickly annoying human, but he had no choice. “Walter, I need to have several packages to be delivered out, can that be done? Adolf demanded.
Warden Walter always quick on his feet upon spotting any chance for private gains. “Of course, sir. Simply say, the when and where.”
“Within the week, I need 103, 78, 56, and #32,” Adolf flatly said.
Warden Walter chokes at the last number said. “#32?!” Warden Walter shrieked.
“Yes,” Adolf coldly said. “I trust that shan’t be a problem, Walter.”
“Of course, not sir!” Warden Walter hastily said, reaching into his pocket for a hanky to wipe the sweat on his brows.
“Good,” Adolf said and with that the call ended. Adolf and his group depart the room and swiftly take their leave from each other. It wasn’t as if all the leaders were friendly to each other. But needs must be met and if one had to take the hand of the devil to do so, so be it.
