《The fool's paradise (dungeon novel)(complete)》101

Rick walked into the lab and found Lucifer tinkering with something again, just before he was going to ask him what the current experiment was, Lucifer finished his chant with "FUCKING THERE" while pointing to the empty corner of the room. Moments later a rock that was previously in front of Lucifer appeared in the corner.
Lucifer jumped up and shouted in triumph startling Rick, he's never seen Lucifer so excited before, "what has you so excited, all I saw was a teleportation magic" asked Rick.
Lucifer enthusiastically replied "I've successfully modified the teleportation spell to have the coordinates at the end of the spell rather than the beginning"
Rick raised his brow and in a questioning tone asked "that is indeed a perverse modification to the spell and I'm sure most mages guilds would give anything to have someone who can do such things, however, first I would like to ask why you would do that in the first place, it seems like a waste of time to me, and Secondly why are you so happy about it"
Lucifer chuckled to himself and simply replied "it's all about timing" without elaborating further, then he asked "have you made what I asked for"
Rick sighed to himself before replying "yes, you're getting more mysterious by the day, initially I had an understanding of what you were trying to accomplish with your "tests", but now Its become so convoluted that I don't think anyone can understand them"
Lucifer grinned at him because he knew that Rick was just trying to goad Lucifer into explaining his last experiments... and it worked.
He started "fine, I know curious you are about new things. This particular experiment will allow me to better aim my teleportation spells--"
"how can designating the teleport position at the end of the spell help with "aim"" interrupted Rick.

Lucifer replied "I can see why you are self-taught" sarcastically before continuing with the explanation, "teleporting to a specific location is easy, you just sense the location and start chanting, then as your weaving the spell you accommodate the chant for whatever the winds of magic are doing at the time--"
"simple right, that's why so many mages can use teleportation magic" Rick added sarcastically as a jab for Lucifer's previous remark.
"anyway, this is all fine and good for when you want to teleport to a stationary object, but utterly useless for getting to a moving one, by the time you finish the damn spell you will have lost track of the object and fuck up the teleport."
Both of them cringed slightly when the mention of a "fucked up teleport". When Lucifer was initially testing the teleport spell he found in the library the results were horrific to say the least. Apparently being a dungeon with superior mana manipulation abilities does not an archmage make.
The first few animals Lucifer teleported went "missing" as he called it, that's if missing meant he couldn't find any sizable portion left of the beast he teleported.
Ahri was noticeably distressed when she found her room painted red after one such experiment. apparently designating an "area" to teleport to worked quite well if you wanted the thing you were teleporting to be in all of an "area" as well, you had to be more specific if you wanted whatever you're teleporting to arrive in one piece.
It was only now that Rick realized where there were so many "fuck ups" earlier, Lucifer wasn't just trying to master a spell he was trying to comprehend it completely so he could modify it.
Evidently, covering your servants room in the entrails of a magical beast is what was considered the scientific method of this world.

Sighing for the second time since coming into the lab Rick asked "so why do you want to teleport to moving objects, after teleporting you are completely stationary, so you couldn't teleport onto something moving anyway, nor could you use it as a projectile unless you were teleporting something heavy enough to squish the person, but there are easier ways to kill someone."
Lucifer remarked "you are so unimaginative, but amusingly on the right track, what I want to use it for is to shoot a beacon that I can lock onto with a teleportation spell"
Rick was beginning to get tired of this conversation and simply said, "I've made what you asked for, although I have no idea what you need it for, but I'm too tired of trying to pry information out from you to try", with a quick wave several objects appeared from his ring and then he left the room.
Lucifer watched the objects Rick left behind rise to the high ceiling and get stuck there as if gravity was inverted and he grinned.
After watching Ricks dejected figure leaving Lucifer thought, 'I can't tell you what this is for because people are reading this conversation, we don't want any spoilers do we'.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Earlier.
Just after Lucifer learned that the Magedom was likely coming after him in the future he began planning, he secluded himself in his lab and began work on things he thought too dangerous to use.
Lucifer alternated his time between a few key tasks, first using mana to destroy the rock around the mana well to expand it thus granting him a massive boost in passive mana in the dungeon. So far Lucifer hadn't found a living creature that could survive being so close to such dense mana, so he had to expand the well himself by removing the rock just like when he first started the dungeon.
Secondly, he spent his time waiting for his mana to recover from the first task to study the library crystal. Every time Lucifer looked into this crystal to search for information he cursed Merlin another ten times, he had mixed up the books into some unintelligible system which made it ten times more difficult to find what you're looking for.
Initially, Lucifer thought that the crystal didn't really have a sorting system, but after thinking about sticking the books that he had already gone through into a pile they moved on their own, this begun his third task, reorganizing the crystal into some sort of usable database so he could search for things easily.
Lucifer's extra brain power from being a dungeon afforded him helped immensely in this task, but the sheer volume of volumes in the library still made this painfully slow.
The fourth task Lucifer filled his time with was tests and inventions, because bitches love cannons.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Limits
Have you ever considered, what is a Limit? Well, I have. I’ve seen people who were as strong, as wild animals. Those that were faster than the wind. Some that shined with intellect. Yet, what are the Limits of mankind’s strength, or intelligence? No one seems to know. We develop more and more, seemingly without an end. What if, someone was the smartest in the world? Would that suggest the Limit? What if, someone was the strongest in the world? Would that be the Limit? Would that make that someone, more than a Human? These are just questions, but what if I saw people reach their Limits? What if I know what happens, when you break the Limits? What if I were to tell you about it, would you believe me? (This novel is no longer published on royal road. If you wish to read more than 1st volume, head to webnovel. That is all)
