After leaving Selenia's room Lucifer went towards to surface to check on what this new group was up to, He pushed a column of mana out of the new entrance and moved up to get a better view. Lucifer saw the soldiers bringing materials up the mountain via carriage, but the amount was clearly lacking.

There were very few wooden structures to house people, most of the wood was used to make a stable for the horses. Most of the men were living in tents which would cause problems when winter came soon, the first snow fell only a few days ago.

The few earth mages present were working overtime to construct a proper drainage and sewage system from the rediverted river that now came straight out of the mountain near the entrance. Clearing and flattening land for buildings would have to wait until the waterways were completed, trying to finish them after a city is built on top of it would be significantly more difficult.

A man in fine clothes was ordering the earth mages in the construction process, Lucifer guessed that he was a town planner of some sort. Lucifer looked at the way the waterways were set up and sighed.

Large sections of land that had relatively narrow waterways would mean these areas are most likely going to be low population areas, Nobles probably. Then as you went down the flow of water there were smaller sections obviously for the rich, even further down was small plots with less access to water, these would be for the shopping district, shops don't use much water after all.

Even further down was a large section with slightly larger sections than the shops but, the amount of water diverted was the greatest in this area, this place seemed to be the factory area used for warehousing and factories.

The reason Lucifer sighed was because, lower than the area for construction related jobs there were numerous tiny plots of land, where the earth mages obviously didn't care and just half Hazzardly laid out the waterways.

It was apparent that this was the area for the poor, what was worse than the poorly constructed drainage systems was that these houses were not only at the bottom but, they were below the construction section, so they would get the worst water. The idea that the rich would not dump their waste into the waterways was simply nieve, the same could be said about the lower sections.

The poor may even have to go upstream just to get clean water. Lucifer made a mental note to have the water system turned into a closed system for that reason. He was almost impressed by the technology these people showed, but the way they used it spoke volumes of the type of people they were.

Lucifer was mostly satisfied with the progress above ground was making, he even saw several caravan trains come up the mountain and start heatedly arguing with the town planner. It appears that a new dungeon being found does not stay secret for long, the merchants are already trying to beat the competition to a new avenue of profit and gain the most benefits.

after taking one last glance Lucifer flew back into his dungeon towards his lab. He planned to tinker with a few of his creations and experiment on his current project. just as he arrived the ant queen was found sitting in the lab, Lucifer asked: "Do you need something, or do you want to be my guinea pig heh heh." She looked in his direction and spoke telepathically with crude words "done... floor... order?". Lucifer was surprised at the efficiency of the ants and decided to go take a look.

When Lucifer arrived at the location the ants were working he found a huge empty cavern instead of solid rock, after making a mental note to reward the ants he gave orders to continue making more floors.

Lucifer returned to the lab and thanked the queen for the good work, causing her to squirm around in delight, he decided to upgrade the queen as a reward, after thinking for a bit and not coming up with anything imaginative he just pumped her full of life energy and pure mana without intent, then left her to go on her way, she can't control what changes will happen but can direct it towards a direction if she chooses. Lucifer thought it would be interesting to see what she came up with.

Thinking of his subordinates reminded Lucifer that he has yet to give Selenia her rewards. So he made his way to Selenia's room for the second time carrying the armor and clothing with his mana manipulation.

When he arrived a found her practicing her swordsmanship, she didn't notice his entrance at first so he floated there and waited while he appreciated her beauty even when she did mundane things. After finishing a form she finally noticed the floating pile of clothing and looked surprised for a moment before greeting Lucifer.

Lucifer replied, "good morning, I was going to give you your reward before but, you were asleep when I arrived last time.", Selenia smiled faintly and thanked Lucifer for courtesy.

Lucifer placed all the clothing onto her bed and watched her look through it with sparkling eyes, after a short time she spoke "I was worried that you would have no sense of fashion, but it turns out that you make the best clothes I've ever seen. Some of the styles of clothing I have never seen before" as she held up a silk blood red qipao. Lucifer chuckled and replied, "I was more worried that a warrior like yourself wouldn't know what fashion was."

Selenia pouted for only a moment before smiling again and looking back at the dress "it looks good and with the slit up the side, the movement would not be hindered like most traditional dresses".

Lucifer said, "I thought you would like that one, I imagine that the style came about because of the martial art style of the people who wore it."

Looking confused for a moment she asked "sometimes you speak as if you were not a dungeon, it's like you were a person before"

Lucifer replied darkly "I was once human, twice actually, but I died I suppose so now I'm here"

This small statement filled Senenia with so many questions but, she could sense Lucifer did not want to talk about it so she kept quiet. After looking around the room to try and find something to change the subject, she saw floating bundle wrapped in cloth and asked about it.

Lucifer returned to his usual voice and told her "this is your other reward", then took off the cloth wrapping the armor. he watched her reaction, but she just stood there blankly for a moment before gasping.

Selenia moved forward and took the armor while admiring its beauty, after several minutes she finally snapped out of it and asked "is this for me, a full set of armor made by a dungeon has never been seen before, it would be priceless"

Lucifer chuckled and replied "Indeed it is for you, but this armor is not just for your accomplishments in service to me, It is also a tool to let you better serve me in the future. anyway what do you think of it, I kept your fighting style in mind when I made it, but I don't know much about armor aside from what I learned from books. So I don't know how functional it is"

Selenia looked at the armor feeling mixed emotions, then told Lucifer "most of the armor is great, the Mithril is light weight and strong which is perfect for my fighting style, even A ranked adventurers like myself can't obtain such amazing personally designed gear. The only drawbacks are the lack of helmet and the cape"

Lucifer replied "the hood is made of steel thread to both protect you and hide your identity when needed, the enchantments on the other gear make up for the lack of protection of a solid helm. Besides, it would be a waste to cover that pretty face". Selenia smiled wryly at the real reason at the end.

Then Lucifer asked, "what is wrong with the cape?"

She thought for a moment how to best explain it and said "most capes or cloaks are attached with a cord tied with a slip knot, so if it is grabbed in combat the person can't be pulled down with it, but this one has a metal clasp so if they grabbed my cape I would lose my balance, something which can be fatal in combat."

He thought for a moment then picked up the cape with mana and re-crafted the clasp to let go when a certain amount of force is applied. Selenia stood there with her mouth hanging open and mumbled "a dungeons creation ability is absurd" after seeing it up close for the first time.

Lucifer told her to put on the armor and get used to the enchantments on them and left for his lab. The next day Selenia spoke like an excited child on Christmas day for nearly an hour about how amazing the armor was, Lucifer both found it amusing and enjoyed seeing her so animated for the first time.
