《The fool's paradise (dungeon novel)(complete)》chapter 1. Change

Year 9683
My domain extends as far as the eye can see. It's grand beyond compare, filled with creatures the minds of mere mortals cannot fathom. MWA HAHAHA
ahem
Day 15
I've dug a hole around myself to make a circular room a few meters in diameter which is my new home, the only decoration is a pale glowing stone gently floating above the ground, corpses litter the ground. Bugs... most of which are so horrid-looking I have no idea how they managed to pass the filter of evolution, there is even one that can't walk and it's not some kind of snake, the only means of motion for this abomination is by moving one of its many what I can only describe as thorny mouths. This thing is 90% teeth, I wonder what would happen if someone swallowed one of these horrid creatures.
Now rewind a few days minus a tirade of swearing after arriving, I soon found myself faced with the worst fate imaginable... boredom, a terrible fate. So after some highly scientific experimentation, I thought how good it would be if this wall wasn't there and bam the wall was gone.
It appeared that the rock face simply disintegrated into nothing or at least a meager amount of it had, as surprising as it was to be the almighty god of rocks I quickly grew accustomed to my new Diggy Diggy hole game and made myself a more presentable hole.
Never one to be entertained by something for more than a second I quickly got bored of this old past-time digging holes. Luckily, my boredom was alleviated when digging down into my DOMAIN...
…home and enlarging the pinprick of light into a golf ball sized ray of light. This showed me two things, 1. My walls look like crap, they were uneven with cracks here and there, apparently, even if I can sense my DOM--- home without light, seeing the finer details is impossible, 2. Not as important but... OH, MY GODDD! when that hole opened wider I may have wobbled a little and it felt so amazing, like getting your first bike as a child multiplied by 10, then your neighbor's kid that you always hated falls into a spike trap and you get to watch him gurgling as the last vestiges of life drain from his face.

But I digress.
I think I've become the devil, since the beginning of day one I felt strange urges to dig down to the center of the earth. Seeing as I am not a Chinese roadway made it easy to deduce that my new body is the cause, this is nothing new to me as this is not my first time around the circle of life, I've done the whole puberty thing twice now, well I've only finished it once, but I think it's still a valid experience for sudden onset insanity and overreactions.
After the existential crisis of 3.5 seconds, I came to realize that Mr. nightmare-fuel was not the only Mr. nightmare-fuel here anymore. Numerous bugs joined the fun with the larger opening, the first few insects quickly became Biteys lunch, however, soon the amount of creepy crawlies managed to overwhelm the little guy. Consisting of nothing but teeth and impudent rage is not one of the steps to success in the evolutionary game here apparently.
Sparing a little time to spruce up the walls a little, I enjoyed watching my games of Ultimate Fighter bug edition. The victor of which was surprisingly a group of ants with large mandibles, while not particularly strong by themselves they can match up to anything with teamwork and enough sacrifices filling up the airways of anything bigger, with the battle won and space theirs, they soon they began to dig, those huge mandibles were not just for show either, they could go through stone like tofu.
The cave system over the past week became increasingly complex and they even seemed to have stolen a queen from somewhere else to make more drones for them. These little cute clever monstrosities.
During the digging of a new growing chamber for the moss they feed on, they hit something. More like something has hit me, suddenly a wave of memory's seemed to come from the nucleus of the world beneath my non-existent feet straight into my mind.
The memories feel so close but also seem so distant and fuzzy, but with hardships comes success... and sweat, which I actually can’t do with this body.

While concentrating, the memories become clearer, soon after I discovered what the memories were, they’re a strange sort of packet filled with information, it comes in the same form as the energy that I absorb from the area around me, it feels the same but different to the energy that I receive when something dies in my domain.
Several days late I've come to master the ability to read the what I call Earthmail and have found the information within interesting. Most of the information seems to be on how to use the energy the DnD character in me calls mana. How to curve it bend it twist it, to my desire creating phenomena such as a giant ball of fire that burns half of your ants and puts you to sleep for an undetermined amount of time. Or a ball of water to drown half the remaining ants.
After some less destructive experimentation control becomes more manageable. Days since last accidental genocide 0, but it's looking to be 1 quite soon. Something to look forward to.
Apart from the accidents for fun, I have begun to start digging in earnest making rooms of different sizes and shapes. I can feel that the Earthmails are under me just ready for the plucking, I just need to get a little deeper.
After quite some time there has been little success in getting more Earthmail so far. It's just out of reach just a little lower, where I need to go. Trying to dig straight down or make just a simple ramp has met with failure. Not because of any lack of ability but it seems that digging straight down is against the instincts of whatever I am right now. So when I try it feels terrible and I don't like feeling terrible I like feeling amazing like when I'm digging around so I can wait.
Slowly digging in random directions creating what seems like a maze of passages and intertwining tunnels. I notice that the mana feels denser here the deeper I go and I feel the need to be here not where my body is. The urge grows stronger the deeper I go soon enough becoming too tired to fight it I decided to make the move.
Learning that you can't just walk around is a hard lesson to learn but not an impossible problem to solve. I am a ball and my domain does go downwards so I figure that I might as well just roll down to the bottom. Just gotta figure out how to do that.
A few days later after experimenting with different means to move myself using mana, I've managed to really gracelessly roll myself to the bottom of my current deepest hole. There was no light here at first but was easily fixed with mana like it seems all my problems can be solved with at this point.
With a little glowing ball of light above my little glowing ball of a body, I relax in my new location. Feeling the massive increase in mana coming to me is the best feeling yet and I look forward to getting even more.
Digging is slow... so boring. So I decided to find out what happens to the ants if I push raw mana into them, which should prove to be quite interesting. Pushing mana that has been changed to cause a specific phenomenon aka fire tends to just turn them really well done... Ramsay would be furious, and it’d be hilarious. Might even make an idiot sandwich.
But I digress. After experimenting for some time and some acceptable casualties in the face of boredom I've found I can grow them larger, stronger, and even meaner. The best part is I can, within some measure, attempt to control their evolution from just a single ant in a single lifetime all the way to through generations by altering either the worker ants or the queen respectively.
Now with a new and improved army of 1 foot long horrors, I can finally relax and let them dig for me.
Hmm, time for a nap.

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.

This soul would eventually develop into a human with immeasurable power...but this story isn't about him its about a young boy who was thrust into this whole mess before anyone, and has to figure out how to be strong enough not to repeat the future. ----- The paper read Humanity's last stronghold has been breached under the text a picture of what he recognized as New York, and above it an odd date. “December 8th 2028” Tomb mumbled to himself in shock, “what am i doing 6 years from the present” As if the man had supernatural powers, he heard Tom “Going insane from mana, you crazy mage did you just realise it only took us 3 years to pulverize you fools” the man maniacally laughed. Then turning towards the tall man, he got serious and said “Kanna, if you had just surrendered yourself at first we would have made this takeover much quicker, but you” the man seethed with anger “you fought back, nothing is worse than humans standing together.” The LIT RPG elements have been planned for the future and will not be the main focus but more will be written I assume around chapter 10

They never called, yet he is here (censored edition)
Introduction:Not every world needs a Summoned Hero, even if it is possible to summon one. No, really! Everywhere, no matter the time, there are always good people who can use glory, power and personal harem themselves. And the one who was summoned? He is just a resource, nothing more… Translation of the original novel by Avada KadavraThe uncensored version is available here.Authors notes:This is just my take on the whole Hero Summoning thing, where a hero happened to survive.Fatal mistake, an error in a well-oiled mechanism that lasted for generations, gave a Hero a tiny chance to decide his own fate. After all, bad guys never expect a Hero to come, yet, the fucker still does.Partially inspired by the series “You summoned the wrong one” by Aitbaev T.A. who was in turn inspired by “Rise of the Shield Hero”.I have to warn you, Aibaev’s work of fiction is pretty out of ordinary, it makes one breath fire, cry until tears turn to blood and laugh to unconsciousness in equal measure.
