《Transmigration, the Tale of a Villianous Noble》Chapter 24.2 – Storm
Advertisement
Cardinal Richelieu plays chess with a greying, mocha colored skinned man, Archbishop Tutu. Rain splatters against the window pane as the low grumble of thunder is heard. Lightning flashes brightly, illuminating the men harshly against the gentle light of the burning lamps.
Archbishop Tutu sighs as he throws his hand up in defeat as he slumps in his chair. “Cardinal, you wound me sir. Here I thought you were going to go easy on me, old friend,” Archbishop Tutu said with a twinkle in his eye.
Cardinal Richelieu grins ruefully and replies, “I did try old friend, but habits are hard to break.”
Archbishop snorts cheerfully under his breath as it turns into a sigh. “Aw, these old bones always ache whenever it rains,” Archbishop Tutu murmured before saying, “And you, old friend?”
“I don’t believe in aging. If you do enough of it, you’ll die,” Cardinal Richelieu solemnly retorted.
The two men are silent for a moment before they burst into laughter at the joke. Archbishop Tutu waves his finger at Cardinal Richelieu as Cardinal Richelieu waves his finger back. They laugh for some time as their only interruption is the sound of thunder.
Archbishop Tutu sets up the chess board once more and they begin to play, Archbishop Tutu as white and Cardinal Richelieu as black. The only sound heard in the room is that of robes rustling as the pieces move across the board.
“How are your affairs going Cardinal Richelieu?” Archbishop Tutu asked with a frown as Cardinal Richelieu plucked his knight off the board.
“Ah, you mean Alyssum?” Cardinal Richelieu dryly replied as he recklessly marched forward and took a bishop as he left his king completely undefended.
“What else?” Archbishop Tutu said with snort and then thoughtfully as he paused to eye the peaceful man across from him. Even after all these years, Archbishop Tutu found it impossible to read the man before him.

“The light of the Goddess is spreading and has been very well received by the people and by the King of Alyssum,” Cardinal Richelieu firmly said as he watched Archbishop Tutu walk into his trap and move towards his unguarded king. Having set his trap, Cardinal Richelieu checkmates the Archbishop in three moves.
Archbishop Tutu throws his hands up in defeat as he climbs to his feet. “Even a servant of the Goddess has his pride. I am retiring for the night, good night Richelieu,” Archbishop Tutu said as he strode away.
The room grows darker as the lanterns slowly go out one by one. In the darkness, Cardinal Richelieu studies the board with a small satisfied grin, before rising to his feet and staring out into the storm. One could not grow without adversity, never dulling one’s blade.

THE HYBRID
A young man wakes up in an abandonned place with no memories, but bits of curious knowledge. There are a lot of things for him to learn and discover about the world he woke up in, and a few things about himself. -I just wanted to write a little story about a mc OP from the start, and who does whatever he wants, good things and bad things alike. -There isn't anything particular planned, just the mc going here and there, doing this and that, meeting this person or that person, fighting this or that... -This is just a side project for me, something to forget a bit about the rest, nothing serious, occasional updates when I'm in the mood... -Inspired from differents westerns and easterns web novels with strong grey/dark protagonists. Mature content (language, gore, violence, sex).

Dead Circus
Sylas never knew he was a Cambion, a being with supernatural abilities called Arma. Society discarded him out of fear and subjugated him out of jealousy. Now, Sylas has joined Dead Circus, a group bent on achieving equality for Cambions, no matter the cost. Sylas has been given a chance to fight the injustice present in the city-state of Concordia, and fix society for everyone to live free of chains and tyranny. However, there are those who would rather see it all burn down so they can start over from the ashes. Who decides what is right and wrong? Who decides what freedom costs? At the end, who will stay true to their virtues and who will be swallowed whole by the jowls of a twisted society? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dead Circus is an original dystopian light novel heavily inspired by Japanese light novel style storytelling, character design and world building. My hope is that every chapter will include a few full illustrations to use as supplementary material to the chapter itself. Dead Circus will contain mature themes and some uncomfortable topics. Any chapters containing these types of themes will be noted before the chapter begins. All art associated with Dead Circus, including the cover art is made by me. Fanart or any artist collaborations for the chapter release will be tagged with the respective creators. Dead Circus is divided into volumes and will release weekly with small gaps in between the ends of volumes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I deeply appreciate your taking the time to read both this description and my work and I look forward to any and all feedback I receive. -Branime

The Beginning of the End FNF Era
So this is a pretty short prequel to my most popular book here on Wattpad. (Definitely not the longest.) This will consist of most of the Flashbacks. And I suggest you read this before the main book. Ninjamuffin99 programs Friday Night Funkin'. PhantomArcade made the original game's artwork and animations. The original soundtrack was made by Kawai Sprite.Ben 10 was created by "Man of Action".Have fun and enjoy.
