《The Tempestatem》Special Note: The Future

It's been a good couple of months since I last wrote the final chapter of Book One. And in that time, I gave this story a lot of thought. The Tempestatem has morphed into different versions on several occassions. It is nothing like when it was first written in 2015. Personally, I feel like I've matured as both a person and a writer through this process. There's a lot of love here.
I went through a bit of a rough patch in my time away from writing. What started as a routine break transformed into a series of life-altering situations. I had to cope with most of it by sacrificing a ton of what I loved to do, The Tempestatem was no exception. But in that time, the book and this story never once left my mind. It stuck with me firmly, and the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much it meant to me.
We're at the tail end of 2019 now, and I've finally reenergized to writing again. It's time for this story to undergo another transformation; this time is likely to be the last I hope. I feel like I'm at the cusp of something. The few friends I forged here at RoyalRoad, and also a few others I know IRL, they've given me some much needed advice and direction. Hopefully, my instincts reflect in the work.
I want to thank all of you for sticking with this story despite its irregular posting schedule. Know that I'm working on this story with a lot of love and passion. Thanks to a good friend of mine, I was allowed to create a Discord Channel as a space to post this phase of my story. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)

As one day a Grimm attack happened at the camp, which made him force to escape towards City of Vale together with his 2 friends, but on there way there a lot of strange events happen. This story takes place mid way Vol.3 of RWBY so I would advice to start reading this after you have at least seen Vol.1 till 3. RWBY is created by Monty Oum and owned by Rooster Teeth.
