"What the Fuck?!" — was the only thing Evalyne could say as she saw all the notifications she was receiving on the screens. The drone got stuck in the collapse and self-destructed for another one to localize Basil's whereabouts.

Mardok and the others wore disbelief faces in the betting room after seeing everything was black on the screens.

"Evalyne! What the fuck just happened?!" —Screamed Mardok to the screen connected to her room.

"Like if I know you stupid Bark-face. Basil got messed up in something and now has a Golemite friend. I am oblivious, just like you and your "friends."

"Ouch, she got you right "— Replied Bik.

"Shut up, Bik. If that Gekkonidae dies, we have to start over again, and finding a Spirit with that potential is as challenging as pulling hairs out of a Mirtoros ass." — Voiced Mardok.

"Whatever marital problems you have between yourselves is not my problem, but Basil is, and he just got ridiculous achievements. One text is a language of sigils, and I have never seen something like this before in all my life studying Ruins." — Said Evalyne.

"You studied ruins?"— Asked Dusanog.

"My race is good at sensing flows of Asther and other energies. We spend most of our youth understanding the different energy signs in ruins near our homes, this before we began to specialize in any of the powers we have an affinity." — contested Evalyne, still waiting for something to appear on the screens.

"This is interesting, but do you have any idea what those sigils meant?" — Continued Dusanog.

"Sadly, no, this language eludes me. What doesn't is the amount of Asther he gained with his antics."

"And that amount is?" — Asked Bik.

"Almost nine hundred thousand Asther units."

Everyone fell silent. For a Limited to advance to the next tier of the Strómata being in the first one is one hundred thousand Asther units, yeah, it doesn't seem that much knowing what they had spent on Basil. It is not easy to obtain even ten thousand, much less the quantity Basil made.

"Ok, we have options now. I know I must return you all the quantity of AU you gave me as sponsorship for Basil, so let's start with that." — Evalyne transferred the energy towards the group in the room.

"I gave you back your Asther. Now tell me, what do you think I should do with all of this energy, hmm?" — Asked Evalyne with a sultry tone.

All the guys in the room were in shock. With that amount of energy, she didn't need their help by this point, and their Asther wasn't enough for them to advance. That was before Bik talked.

"Jejeje, smart girl, you are just trying to provoke us. We know we don't have enough to advance, but I am the one who knows what path Basil should take with his abilities, and you don't."

"What makes you think I could not see a way to help my champion."

"Because you are just another Ethereal, just like Dusanog here. Your kin always thinks energy this, the energy that, but never survives in a close combat quarrel. So, what makes you think you can make a warrior's path for a front liner like the little guy?"

Evalyne shut up for a second and then talked.

"I suppose you were the one who thought about the Bone ability, isn't that right?"

"That's correct. I am Bik the Boukhari."

"Huh, and I thought you were the idiotic one. Okay, you are in; you can help me with Basil's development. The other ones need to tell me something worth maintaining you in this new team I am making, as this is not a Sponsorship anymore that includes you, Mardok."

Basil and Auriz were eating and absorbing everything they could from the broken cores as they looked for a way out of the cavern. There were many holes around, but they were too little to pass or too high for both to climb.

Auriz was covering her core with a cape of moss, vines, and small fragments of life cores so she can protect herself, at least until she learned to transmute her form. Basil instead was looking for a way to bring Auriz with him. He could climb the wall, but it was a little bit impossible with all that weight from Auriz.

"I can't think of a way to bring you up with all your weight."

"Your talking feels less disruptive, Basil. Also, I think you are right. These legs can be recreated with other resources now that I know how to make them."

"Are you sure you want to abandon them? I am not sure we will find other cores lying around."

"It doesn't matter. I will manage."

"Very well, detach yourself from there. I will put you in my back and create something to maintain you in place."

Basil retracted his spikes on his back and tried to create something to hold Auriz. Basil's backbones extended in a bear-trap form big enough to keep her life-core.

"Ok, is done, get down. We need to move from here. There is something that gives me a bad feeling."

"I feel it too. We should move." — Auriz floated a little to detach herself from the legs. Basil took advantage of this by knocking down the legs and putting himself down, so Auriz could get to the ground, but she went down with force because she didn't have enough control.

"Ouch! Be more careful. I am still recuperating from having all those rocks almost squashing me."

"Sorry, I still can't control this ability."

"You should begin practicing. Why don't you try to make those vines and moss rotate around you? It could work in an escape situation, I know I have done that a lot by now."

Auriz took Basil's advice with sentiment and began to practice her telepathy while he began to move towards the wall. Basil was a bit taken aback by the weight, but this could prove beneficial in the long term, so he continued with renewed vigor.

The climb was not as easy as when he did it alone, but this was a short one at least. After some minutes, they got inside the hole and started walking while looking at their surroundings. They didn't talk most of the traject until Basil's curiosity arose.

"How do you control those plants?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, how can you make them float and yourself too?"

"I use my energy to help me levitate objects, and my weight also gives me some manner of control. I don't know how to call it, but I don't think you can do it. Like how I can't grow bones out of my body."

"Makes sense. About the bones, it happened after I ate a blue fragment. It still scares me to this day."

"You obtain powers from eating stuff?"

"Yes, you don't?"

"I have told you I am not a Living organism! Well, it doesn't matter. Golemites have different ways to grow, and I suppose I could absorb cores and other materials when I learn how to transmute my body, but for now, I can only create parts for me from other resources."

"Mmmmm, but wouldn't you like to eat?"

"... You are a little bit annoying, you know."

"I guess I am just curious."

Both continued on the path as new colors were visible in Basil's eyes. There was moss on his trail and small mushrooms starting to grow with the dim light. After some minutes, Basil could feel he was reaching somewhere familiar.

"I think I know this place." — Uttered Basil.

"You do?"

"Yes, I am almost sure, we are reaching the cavern where I was born."

"You must be excited."

"... no, I am not."

"Why so?"

"In this place, there is a creature I feared."

"And what do you think about it now?"

"I am going to eat it."
