《The Immortal Mutant Teen》Chapter 94 - Why Are You So Mysterious?

As Acheron walked away, leaving Amazoness behind as she stared at his broad back, he noticed two people waiting for him in the distance underneath the shadow of a nearby building. Who else could it be but Akeno and Sakura?
Sakura stood there not daring to meet Acheron in the eyes, her head was turned as she looked from the corner of eyes. She felt fear and awe towards Acheron, she wasn't a martial artist, so she had no idea there were such strong people her age in the world.
Akeno also couldn't look straight at Acheron, but for other reasons. Her reactions were different compared to Sakura as she stood there fidgeting, covering her face with her hands. As Acheron neared them she began to peek through her fingers, her eyes darting between his face and crotch before darting in every direction as if forcing herself to look away as her face got redder and redder from embarrassment.
'Those biceps! those triceps! those abs!…. Calm down Akeno! You're not a bad girl! Stop thinking of Acheron's body!...' Useless thoughts flashed through Akeno's mind as Acheron neared.
After the initial shock, Akeno wasn't as shocked compared to Sakura. Her family also has Grandmasters, so it wasn't the first time she had seen a fight of this scale.
"You guys still here? You could've gone home already, no need to wait for me," Acheron said,
"We just wanted to make sure you were alright but your wounds…" Akeno said,
"Oh, these? I'm fine" Acheron then continued to wipe off the cream he applied before taking care of the unconscious Amazoness.
It was a ruse to so people wouldn't see his wounds close by themselves.
When the cream was wiped off, it revealed Acheron's flawless bronze skin without even a scar.

"As you can see, I have a good healing cream," Acheron said,
Sakura finally turned to look at Acheron,
"Was that Pandora's Miraculous Cream? My father was lucky to be able to get a small jar of it for 500 million, he treats it as if it's a supreme treasure…" Sakura said,
"Sounds right, as long as you still breathe it can heal any wound," Acheron said with a smile.
"… Well, It's time to go home"
Before Acheron could start walking, Sakura blocked his way.
"You need to clean up the mess you made and… Could you wear some clothes already?!" Sakura exclaimed,
Acheron looked down and realized he was only wearing his spandex.
"Oh?... give me a second," Acheron said,
Acheron turned the corner to get out of sight of the girls and a second later he came back around wearing another suit.
"How?..." Sakura and Akeno said,
"Can I go home now?" Acheron asked,
Sakura narrowed her eyes,
"You still need to pick up your mess! All the weapons and all the metal shards, even your clothes that were thrown all over the field!" Sakura said,
Acheron tilted his head and looked behind them towards the field.
"What mess?" Acheron asked with a smile,
A vein bulged on Sakura's forehead, she wanted to hold back her anger towards Acheron.
"The mess you made right over…"
Sakura turned to point at what was supposed to be a battlefield, but there was nothing. No weapons, no metal shards, not even Acheron's armory could be seen.
The only evidence of a fight was the trenches and craters left behind from the fight.
"…there… But how?! It has only been like 3 minutes!"
Akeno giggled seeing Sakura's funny face.
"Just give up trying to understand Sakura, nothing makes sense with him around," Akeno said,

Sakura sighed before slumping her shoulders in defeat.
"Fine… let's go home…" Sakura replied,
Acheron chuckled before walking, the girls following towards the school gate that was located on the other side of the campus.
…
After walking for a few minutes in silence, Sakura broke the silence.
"Hey Acheron, why are you so mysterious?"
Acheron laughed,
"Because I'm a man of mystery," Acheron said mysteriously,
"Bah!" Sakura exclaimed, beginning to feel annoyed again.
"What about the birds, where did you get them?... I've never seen animals as smart as them," Sakura asked,
"Those were drones," Acheron said,
"Drones?! Even the giant bird?" Sakura asked,
Acheron stopped and turned around to look at them, giving them a weird look.
"Wait, you don't actually think birds are real, right?" Acheron asked,
"…. Eh?" Akeno and Sakura exclaimed dumbfounded.
Acheron chuckled,
"Out of the 10,000 supposedly species of birds like, only 1,000 of them are actual animals. The rest are government drones they use to spy on people." Acheron said, dropping another bomb on the girls' head.
"…"
"Are you being serious?" Akeno asked,
"Yes, I am," Acheron said with a serious tone.
"Hold up! So, you're telling me that the government just goes around spying on people with birds? If that's true, how do they even have the time to change the batteries?" Sakura asked skeptically, she didn't believe Acheron at all.
Acheron looked at her like she was dumb,
"The notion that the government is just out here changing batteries is simply ridiculous… these are advanced cyber-organisms, they don't take double A's because birds are rechargeable…" Acheron said,
Acheron pointed up,
"They've been doing it right underneath your nose your entire life…. they use powerlines,"
The girls just looked at Acheron with their mouth opened, they had no idea what to say.
Acheron began to walk away,
"How do the kids say it nowadays?... Stay woke,"
Acheron walked away leaving the stunned girls behind, they looked up to see some crows on a powerline. The five crows all turned simultaneously and cawed at the girls. The girls shuddered and began to run to catch up with Acheron.
The girls never saw Acheron's sly smile as he walked towards the gate.
