Renvoy awoke after sometime he didn’t know how long he’d been unconscious. It felt like a millisecond and a thousand years at once. What greeted him was not the sight of his room, what greeted him was darkness, a darkness so vast and heavy it threatened to crush his current form out of existence, yet it felt so familiar. He never had a favorite color or shade, but renvoy had always loved black. It was everywhere, always with him. It loved him more than his own family. His personality kept him from having a normal life. He always wanted to be free like darkness, but never had the chance. He had it now, and he took it. Renvoy let his soul flow freely in the darkness. A foreboding mass of darkness submerged his soul.

[starting protocol 54525356……. recovering system user #76637]
[error……… analyzing feedback….. system user’s soul composition is unknown, changing user status to anomaly….. done revoking system boons…….. error failed to retrieve limitless soul boon cutting off system access… done sealing pocket dimension……]
And with that, the system left Renvoy’s soul all alone and unconscious. After two days, Renvoy regained consciousness.
“what happed? “
The darkness responded, filling him in what had taken place after he’d embraced the darkness. Renvoy was temporarily stunned. The darkness had talked to him. Well, not talked but showed him images and concepts of what happened. The system had left him that hurt him a little. He was without his family, although he never talked to them much. He still loved them. Renvoy wanted to let out his ineffable rage, but he calmed down. He would deal with it later.
“what is this place? And how do I get out? “
Darkness swirled and twisted into the form of a portal. Renvoy hesitated. He wasn’t sure what was on the other side; he was sure that he didn’t want to find out either, it just gave him chills, even in his soul form.

“take me somewhere without the system’s influence, somewhere that I can grow properly and figure out what the hell is up with my soul.”
Another portal formed, and he went through what greeted him was a barren wasteland filled with black sand and strange bipedal lizards everywhere, he, looked he almost went back if it wasn’t because they couldn’t, see him it was like Renvoy’s body? It wasn’t even a body anymore, just a hovering mass of black goo. curious Renvoy willed it to shape itself into the form of a human and it did, feeling more comfortable and familiar with his power. He sent patches of black goo floating in all directions with basic instructions, only to gather information and send it back to him. Renvoy did not specify their range as he wanted to test the limit of his power and figure out what they consumed for fuel qi? mana? he wanted to know so he could prepare himself for anything unexpected, safety and a place where he could assess his situation and everything that had happened so far, so with that in mind he floated over to a tree and sat his black gooey body down.
