Cody Lansdown groans when he read the prompt seeing that half of his attacks with the bow have been nerfed. He is an Arcane Archer; the love of bows and magic seem to fit him so well that he has not regretted it until today. Who the hell is Lord of Kook Inc?

Jacques Lipton sat down in the Village of Dalt to read the prompts that flow before him, Finding out that his tracking abilities and hunter class have been seriously hurt. Hearing others around in the village cursing or crying. If what he was reading will make it harder for him to hunt in this area, not looking forward to heading back to Franklin to chase kobolds.

Rocky Twofist was slamming away at a wall after seeing the prompt, his martial arts skill have been scale back, and new skills like Kitten Claw and Donkey kick have been added, and what the hell is, does a Nerf mean? Hearing everyone around him is yelling something about a Nerf.

The new Caesar of the Imperium Jason Rale glare at his screen, seething in anger. The cost of troops and equipment triple in cost. His building will slow down because of this shit. Standing up he yells for someone to find a priest to Mars. Maybe Mars will know what is going on.

Mars, God of War pace back and forth in his mansion. “I'm going to crush that weasel of a god!” he screams. Pointing at two demigods, “Find him! I want him begging me not to kill him.” the two demigods fled the room.

Frigga stares down at the Settlement of Safehaven, watching a man get up and dust himself off and started work on building a Townhall as more and more of his people sought him out. Slowly he got them to help him in his task calming them down as others places around the civilized world are rioting. Several Imperial towns are on fire. Chaos seems to run rampant yet here in Safehaven all is quiet. “Loki it would seem that you may have underestimated someone again.” chuckling to herself as she hears the other gods cursing Loki name. “Let see how this play out.”

Jack quietly work on the Townhall as those around him was crying and yelling for him to understand why a lot of the nerfs seem to be aimed at the settlement and Jack. Refusing to answer anyone not working he slowly got the thirty-eight players working and discussing the problems. Rangers and Druids will have to team up for a bit to cover some of their problems. Guardians and Champions have to do dual roles of covering each other in a group. Healers will have to double up on teams to keep players alive. Magic users got hit hard, they going to have to group up with a bigger group to survive or take a second class. By the end of the days, everyone has calmed down, and the basement and the walls of the first floor of the Townhall were done. Sitting in the warehouse are half of the materials needed to build a roof. If they make a second floor and put the roof on it would be a level three building. Everything is going faster with several spellcasters casting walls spells and other player helping with cutting wood and making shingles and lumber. Some of the players went to help with farming while others help cooks to feed everyone. By the end of the day, plans were worked out as the players ping off each other ideas to work around the nerf.

Ann nudge me and nodded to everyone working, “you got them calm down how you do it?”

Straightening up and popping his back, “Dad always put me to work when I started bombarding them with questions, as I work I was too busy thinking of solving the problem to bombard them with more question. Dad would then start bouncing ideas off me, and by the end of the day, we either solve the problem or too tired to think about it.” grinning at her. “Besides this is a game the AIs will solve the issues one way or another.”

“Do you believe it was Loki that did this?” she asks.

“Lord of Kook Inc. L. O. K. I. Spelling it out. Yeah, it was Loki I think he has gone rogue like the Mars god of war has. Nothing we can do but wait it out and hope the other AIs can solve the problems until then we have to deal with the problems we are dealt.” Shrugging at Ann turning as Kari come walking up.

“Just got news on my communication stone, there quite a few cities having riots, New Rome is burning, the city of Athena is also burning. Rioters are destroying hundreds of settlement and town. Looting and killing of NPCs some of the reports I have received are that tens of thousands of NPCs are being killed in just the Imperium alone by players lashing out.” Kari said.

Another voice spoke up, seeing Hans and Frida walk up. “The Norse to the north and the Celts are doing the same but not at that grand a scale, many of the players are stepping in and stopping it. Got a friend at a hamlet that keeps in touch his band of Vikings is passing the word around that the citizens of this world are not to be bothered with if they want to keep buying stuff. And just let you know there a large group of player killing goblins up northeast of here.” Hans said as he looks around at some of his clan mates in the distance glaring at Jack, “might be a good idea to watch your back Jack until this is over. Loki is up to something after meeting some of the Gods; Loki knows that you are just one of the many others that to interest the AIs.”

Jack already warn the goblins here at Safehaven to stay close to their home and lock it. Not happy with the way things are going in this world, worry about how this will affect the colony when they arrive at their new home, shaking his head. “Think its time for me to turn in, Kari you might check on your people heading here and see they are okay. Tomorrow we going to need to start more hovels and lodges we could see an influx of players and citizens over the next month. If anyone wants to help finish the Town hall we could raise the settlement in a few days to level three.” Getting up and nodding to Ann and the others he went to turn in. Staring at the temple to Frigga he decides to wait until the morrow before asking her what is going on.

Jimmy Blades glare at Jack as he enters his hovel, a lot of the assassin skill were weaken making it harder to kill others, hearing others in the settlement committing about Jack and Hans run-in with Loki.

Jimmy look over the patch notes seeing that a lot of it was aimed at builders and settlement and to paladins. In truth, he ignores the fact that every class was hit did not register with him. Thinking maybe finding a way to destroy the Settlement may make favor with Loki to get the patch fix. Pulling a communication stone out, “Hey, I found out who piss off Loki, and I got an idea on how to fix it...”

Nearby in the shadow of one of the hovels, a mask joker watches Jack head to his hovel, if someone was nearby they would have heard giggling.
