Gema was stalking the wolf that kills the rabbit she was about to kill. Figuring she will get revenge on it and its fur. The wolf race down an animal trail along the Granite Creek to the north. Gema stopped six times to harvest several herbs that pop up only one was a failure. Finding a large patch of watermelon full of melon force her to stop.
Many melons she thought, glancing briefly at the trail. Groaning she started picking the melons. Taking a full hour filling up six bags with the small melons leaning a good many more. Jumping and pulling out the sword that Jack gave her she glance down the trail hearing a noise of fighting. Leaving the bags behind she sneaks her way forward until the sound of fighting was just ahead in a ravine.
Peering around a bush and some boulders. Seeing several dead wolves laying on the ground. Seeing a young troll was slamming a large limb into the side of the Alpha male killing it. She watches as ten wolves pile onto the troll tearing into it. Sensing movement from the right she sees a wolf with a rabbit on the ground. Growling at the troll standing in front of an opening in the wall of the ravine. Seeing some movement inside of wolves pups moving around in the darkness of the den.
Looking back to the way she came turning as she hears a whimper. Seeing the mother glancing at her as two more wolves go flying into the brush. Looking at the troll bleeding from tearing as it moves slower and at a wolf pup moving up next to its mother. She steels herself and takes a running leap. Screaming bloody murder or terror depending on who you would talk to. The troll froze for a second as a wolf grabs his throat. The troll stagger to the left as the mother rush forward to bite at the right legs.

Gema land on the back of the troll with her sword deep inside his back. It screams and tries to dislodge her from her perch. Holding on for dear life to the hilt of the sword as her legs go flying left and right making her get sick. Finally, the troll stops just as Gema vomit all over it back. The beast gave out another scream and a wolf clamp down upon his thing under the loin clothe ripping it off. Even with all the troll regenerative ability. It fell to its knee holding the nether region as green blood pour out down the side of its thighs. Holding on with her left hand she pulls out her stone dagger and slams it deep into it right ear. Twisting it as more of the wolves tear into him. Gema feels the troll fall forward with her on it back as she a prompt appear.

Nodding yes slowly the troll disappear.

The growls got loader as the troll vanish. Tossing half the troll meat on the ground between her and the mother wolf it gave a cuff sound like the others back up. Hearing whimper from some of the fallen wolves in the brush she pulls out a healing potion. Slowly inch over to one of the wounded wolves bending down. The growls intensify until she stops and held out her hands and point at a wolf and then at the den mother. She pours a little in the cup of her hand and slowly let some of it dribble onto the wounds. Watching it slowly heal. The wolf stagger to its feet and back off growling. Cybernetic Dragon
Idea Seven, or Inter Dimensional Explorer Automaton Unit-7, has had a bit of an accident. Hijacking the egg of a dragon rather than its intended target of a bird egg, it isn't fully in control of its host brain. Rather the two, dragon and cybernetic AI interface, must work together to survive in a hostile world of magic, dungeons, beasts and adventurers. The AI must deal with being a machine from a world of science trying to carry out its mission of exploration, while the dragon, Rex, must deal with being a cyborg living with symbiotic nanotech that sets him apart from other dragons. What adventures await them? Author Note: I tagged this story GameLit because it contains concepts like levels, classes, and dungeon/beast cores. But, it isn't tagged LitRPG because no one has status screens, other than occasionally Idea Seven who likes to organize data into blue boxes. It isn't a natural function of the world to display level ups or skill ups with an announcer voice. I mention this to set expectations, because otherwise I feel like LitRPG fans might be disappointed by my lack of LitRPG elements while others might be turned off thinking I have a lot of LitRPG elements. I think that if you approach the story with an open mind you will appreciate the gradual way in which the main character learns and expands his understanding of how the world works, but the game mechanics aren't meant to take center stage to the actual story.
