《The Love of a Lazy Potato with Cheats- MCU FanFic》Episode 93-R&R

Things were very awkward between Bruce and us as I gathered all of the Avengers for the intended meeting R&R.
“I don’t get it. Why should we sign it?” Tony threw the documents away as he looked at me. “And why should I trust your pineapple head?”
I looked at the several others who were gathered around the table inside the Stark industry. “Any of you feel the need to raise an objection?” I asked causing everyone to raise their hands except for Nat.
“No hard feelings David, but some of these rules are very intrusive if you know what I mean.” Barton reasoned to which I nodded.
Bart’s feelings were understandable as he would love to keep the records of where he stayed hidden from the world, hence his reason for rejecting R&R.
“And you Bruce,” David asked Bruce who avoided my eyes.
“Aww grow up Bruce. You can’t bring personal matters into official business.” I complained as I realised, he was having his own session of temper tantrum for finding out about his little secret.
“Fine.” He took his hand down earning everyone’s glorious curiosity.
Tony looked at me before turning towards Bruce with a grin. “We are going to have a talk about this after.”
“No, we are not. Just focus on what is at hand Tony.” Nat brought Tony’s attention back into the matter at hand.
“Who put you in charge?” Tony asked Nat causing her to glare at Tony.
“Tony calm down.” Pepper pulled Tony down as she looked at me.
“I can understand the need for you to having an R&R, but does it have to go this far? I mean needing their home address, their personal details, details of their close ones, their weakness, their strengths etc?” Pepper questioned me.
“Okay answer this single question to me: what will you do when I am not there, and the green guy is going on a rampage?” Everyone turned to Bruce who seemed pretty calm to be put in the spotlight.

“No offence but you all are getting wrecked.” Bruce grinned seeing everyone’s look.
“We are developing something just for that scenario.” Tony boasted to which I shook his head.
“What about the lives Hulk might take while Veronica is deploying Mark XLIV?” Tony had an irritated looked as he realised, I knew their plan.
“Who is going to be accountable for those lives and destruction that will be caused, Tony?” I asked him.
“Are you saying we need to take measures in case we might turn on each other?” Steve asked me.
“No, I am saying we need to be held accountable for the destruction we cause, and when we fail to stop destruction every time we are in this line of business. For example, while waiting for Tony’s AI to deploy the new armour you guys can stall Hulk emotionally using his prime weaknesses on the database.” Hearing this everyone looked at Bruce.
“It works. I don’t know how but he and the green guy are like best friends.” Bruce shrugged his shoulders.
“Sorry, but I am kind of the new guy to this business and all, but can I ask something?” Sam Wilson raised his hand.
I nodded. “You don’t need permission, Sam.”
Sam smiled hearing this. “I may sound a bit of a douche when I say this, but I have heard a lot about you from Steve. He says you are a tech genius better than Tony.” Tony growled at that which Sam ignored. “The question is how sure am I that you are not going to use our weakness and details against us? I mean from what Steve told me no one in this table including your own wife and best friend has any idea of what exactly or rather why exactly you are doing all this.”
Bruce sighed hearing this question while I placed an arm on Nat’s hand to cool her down lest her hormones kick in to cause a mess. “Sam, what my intention is will be revealed in time and I promise you that…”

“Yeah, but how long?” Steve asked.
“Around 2 to 3 years if everything goes well.” They all looked at me. “As for your worries about me using your weakness against you...” I sighed as I looked at everyone at the table.
“This may come as a boast or arrogance to most of you but trust me when I say this, and both Bruce and Nat can confirm this, that I don’t even need to know any of your weakness to wipe all of you from the face of the universe in an instant.” The air became very serious at this moment.
“He is right.” Everyone looked at Bruce. “I don’t know what he has shown Nat, but I have seen glimpses of his occasional spars with the green guy. I am not joking when I say it’s a one-sided beat down with his bare hands.”
“You all don’t need any reminder of what happened in New York before the portal closed right?” Nat jogged everyone’s memory.
“If you don’t trust me to keep your profile a secret then I will tell you everything about me for you to hold as an insurance.” I declared causing Bruce to frown. “I am both physically and technologically enhanced in several aspects. I fight mainly using my tech with the occasional biological enhancement that would leave the super soldier in the dust. My weakness is my family. Those that control my family, controls me, hence why I have gone to such drastic measures to protect them.”
“The 5km Blood Ring,” Bart spoke up after a long time, reminding the news of what happened a few years ago when several agencies moved against my family.
“I have more to lose from this than any of you now. So please would you all consider signing it?” I requested them.
“Alright, say if we signed them how are you going to get the UN to agree to something like this?” Tony asked me seriously.
“They will be all the happier that we gave them a proposal, especially when they see it’s from me,” I informed Tony.
“Why? It’s not like we are giving the UN any of the biometric or details about us? Why would they be so happy?” Bruce inquired.
I grinned hearing this. “You can say, I have a certain knack in persuading those politicians which they all love.”
I brought up a hologram to nail this deal in. “What’s this?” Steve frowned as he read the words on the hologram.
“This is what the governments are planning to enforce on all of us within 2 years. If you don’t sign this, then you will have to sign this or live as an outlaw for the rest of your life.” That was the final nail.
They all knew how accurate my predictions were so far and trusted what I showed them.
After a bit more adjustments and debate I got all their signatures.
Getting all their approval I moved the application to the UN and to all the countries for their approval. Needless to say, all of them initially wanted to reject until they all got a message on their phone, which forced them to sign. After all, they all would love to stay in power and control. No one wanted to lose grasp of the power they held onto.
By the end of February 28th, the UN announced to the world the recognition of a private defensive organisation known as Avengers along with all the countries in the world.
The hidden Hydra wanted to resist this, but they were too busy tracking and covering for their loss of all their members’ money to be concerned about Avengers.

This is a dungeon core storm story that I am working on in my free time. Please feel free to leave constructive criticism as I want to grow as an author.

8 67Progenitor - A GameLit Campaign by Zero77
Progenitor is written by an Overlord admirer who wishes to put his own spin on the tired concept of a VR world turning into reality. The story follows Rein, a loyal fan of the DMMORPG Phantasm, as he finds himself in the New World, where much of what he has known of the game is no longer the same. Though, he may not be the only one desperately searching for his place in the hierarchy of this world. Accompanied by NPC's, who now are sentient and free from the constraints of computer programs, Rein slowly but surely unveils the many secrets hidden deep under thick layers of the New World's history. In case you skipped the first line, I like Overlord very much xD.
