《The Love of a Lazy Potato with Cheats- MCU FanFic》Episode 61- Magic!

[David PoV]
I closed off the screen that showed Nat quietly sitting in her room.
I turned my attention back to the glowing blue ball of energy locked inside a wall of nanobots.
I finally figured out what was wrong with the data I got from the Tesseract 2 days ago as soon as my Rooted Potato had finished comprehending all the data I gathered.
The data I gathered from the Tesseract was what I would like to call refracted data of the space stone. Like how the light gets refracted and distorted as it enters a new medium, the data emitted from the Tesseract from the space stone was like that.
It was this data that almost everyone in the world including me used to develop several magnificent things in the world. Just the thought of what would happen if someone managed to gather the core data of a space stone without the Tesseract, kind of excited me, but I didn’t care anymore as I got what I wanted from the data I had gleamed off it, along with several other massive potential upgrade ideas for my babies and magic.
I needed the essence of the space stone to locate the origin of my dream, hence my reason for going into the Dark Energy facility as it was collapsing, so that I could harvest the raw rift energy the space stone that opened up.
I took a deep breath as I prepared everything. Several nanobots attached to my head and linked it with the space stone's raw energy. “95,489.”
I felt intense grief as I pressed the activation button. My nanobots began siphoning on the energy of the space stone as my software began tracking the source of my grief.
“95,489!”
“95,489!” I kept repeating the number in order to not let the grief go away as the energy slowly drained away while leaving me mentally sad.
*Ping* [52.5200°…] A geographic coordinates came up on my screen, which surprised me as I had expected the source of this attack to be outside of earth.
“Show me the place!” I ordered as I looked over the grief held behind those numbers.
My nanobots assembled before me as a screen; it displayed what was held in that place. “Loki?”
I looked at the image of Loki in shock before I shook my head. “No!”
I zoomed the screen to the sceptre in his hand. As I predicted, someone was using the mind stone to attack me 2 years ago. That was the source of the attack, just like I presumed. Someone had used a combination of space and mind stone to attack me for some reason, to reveal a set of numbers and the location of the soul stone.
I looked at the mind stone in worry.
I had initially changed my plans using the mind stone after the Chitauri invasion, as I didn’t need to mind control Loki anymore to teach me magic. However, that changed now.

'Seems like I am going to have to study the mind stone after this in order to improve my mental defence, along with possibly looking for any trace left behind on who attacked me.' I became worried as I had to meddle with another sentient overpowered stone.
I really didn’t like coming close to an infinity stone, but my situation keeps pushing me towards one after the other much to my dislike.

[A few hours later in the Helicarrier]
“The rest of the raw materials agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily.”
Tony spoke as he swiped the screen on the Helicarrier. *Tweet* Banner checked his phone before chuckling. “Something funny Doctor?”
Tony asked Banner causing Banner to nod as he looked at Tony. “David told me to say you still owe him thanks for giving you the clue to how to make that element on your chest.”
Bruce pointed at Tony's arc reactor. Everyone looked at Tony in question. “He didn’t do jackshit all right! All he said was to look at the expo. I spent hours searching for the clue before I found it on my own.”
Tony replied in annoyance which surprised everyone. “Wait how do you know that show-off bastard?”
Tony asked Bruce as Natasha glanced at Tony and Bruce. “You still have the same attitude Mr. Stark.”
Banner chuckled seeing Tony’s nature still hasn’t changed much over the years they haven’t seen each other. *Tweet* Bruce looked at his phone and read the message.
“He says he knows everyone in this table except for Rogers. After all, it was hard talking to a frozen beauty.”
Bruce passed on David's message to which Rogers smiled.
Tony looked at Bruce in curiosity. "You still haven't told me how you know me and how you know that show-off?"
Ignoring Stark's concern, Thor spoke up. “I don’t think I have met this David.”
Just as Bruce was about to reply he received another message. *Tweet* Bruce read the message. “Uhhhhh… he says, ‘Thor remember Mexico and the guy who solved the puzzle for you?’”
Thor looked excited as he remembered David. “Wait mortal David? Is he a friend of yours too?”
Bruce answered seeing no one really replying. “Well, he is mine but for the others it is complex.”
Tony meddled with his phone to see how David was spying on them while mumbling. "That is what happens when you put money before relations pineapple head."
Rogers spoke before anyone else did. “Well, why don’t we ask him for where Barton is, since he is able to keep track of everyone in the world?”
Tony became annoyed hearing that. "I can do it better..."
Tony couldn't finish what he was saying before someone interrupted him. “No don’t!”
Thor spoke up surprising everyone. “Father and Heimdall told me to not seek his help and involve him in what happens here unless it is absolutely necessary and there is no hope.”

This made everyone look at Thor in question. “I don’t understand why but both father and Heimdall were very serious when they said it and usually it doesn’t end up well when I don’t listen to them. I learned it the hard way last time and I am still suffering by having to come here for Loki.”
*Tweet* “He says ‘I do not name my price just for fun Tony. I name them for a reason. I won’t help unless it is absolutely necessary. Also say hi to Odin and Heimdall for me, even though I hated Heimdall spying on me.’”
Bruce looked up to Thor, while Fury burrowed his brows hearing the conversation. “Yeah, Heimdall can do that. He can see and hear everything in the 9 realms.”
Thor chuckled. “Well looks like our greedy boy just found a fellow peeking pervert.”
Tony chuckled happily to not have needed to use David’s help causing Thor to look at him in annoyance for insulting Heimdall. “That reminds me..."
Tony looked at Bruce who just grinned. "Stop avoiding the question, Dr Banner?”
“Well, I was working as his assistant in his restaurant when you came in that day.”
Tony’s eyes widened as he looked at Bruce. “But your face…”
He poked Bruce's face causing him to shrug. “Changed it.”
Tony's eyebrows twitched. “Let me just say that whatever happened between me and him was purely personal. No offence to you.”
Banner chuckled as he nodded. “Sure, sure.”
Bruce glanced at Natasha who was quietly watching everyone without a shred of emotion on her face. Tony then carried on saying what he wanted as Fury stood there listening to them.
A few hours later as everyone converged upon the lab of Stark and Bruce, they slowly began arguing and pointing fingers.
Suddenly all the screens in the room beeped with a message. [The sceptre is controlling your minds! Stay calm!]
The message appeared before Bruce could hold onto the sceptre.
“What the heck?” Fury said as he came to realize what David’s message had meant. Everyone looked at the sceptre with apprehension while the screens constantly beeped with the same warning.
[Hold on tight!] A new message suddenly appeared just before a massive explosion rang out just as Bruce and Natasha fell.
As they felt unknown to Natasha's eyes a small fiery portal opened up from which few fiery strings emerged and pushed aside the metal pipes that were meant to fall on legs. The fiery strings quickly withdrew as the portal closed.
Just as that portal closed another portal opened up and from which a similar set of fiery strings emerged which pushed the pipes to fall on top of Bruce. If one looked closely they could see that the portal led to a training hall where few disciples were walking around.
*Clang**Crash* As Natasha landed she slowly got up from her daze. "Ahhh..."
Turning towards the location of the groan she saw Bruce lying underneath few pipes. "Bruce stay calm..."
Natasha called out in worry. However, due to the excruciating pain, Bruce slowly turned into Hulk as Natasha watched helplessly at him. She wanted to assure him but couldn’t as it became too late.
*Roar* She ran as Hulk let loose and ran after her.
Hulk slowly started gaining momentum on her. However, just before the hulk could even reach and smack her aside a green lollipop popped up in the air.
*Screech* Hulk came to a screeching halt as he ignored Natasha.
Hearing the silence from behind her puzzled Natasha. Just as she wondering what was going on she heard a hoarse voice stopping her in her tracks. "Lolipop..."
Strangely the voice sounded the very confused but familiar voice of the roaring monster. She slowly turned around to see a surprising scene playing out before her.
The Hulk looking at a large green lollipop while slowly drooling. "Lollipop!"
Natasha could almost see the star in the eyes of the green monster as it eagerly reacher out for the green lollipop.
However, before he could grab onto it someone smacked onto his back with a hammer sending him flying. *Crash*
*ROAR* An even more furious roar resounded.
Natasha looked at the scene before her in shock as he turned to look at where the floating lollipop had been, only to see it was not there anymore.
“What…?” She uttered in confusion just as orders came in for her.
[3 hours later.]
After Natasha had finished speaking to the now normal Barton, who was mind-controlled by Loki, Barton noticed something off with Natasha. “Everything okay with you?” Barton asked seeing Natasha not well.
She sighed before speaking. “Yeah, just that David contacted everyone.”
Barton looked up at Nat in worry. “What did he say?”
She looked down as she began recounting the events that Clint missed. Barton sighed as he realized what Natasha might be thinking. “What do you think I should do?”
Natasha asked Barton who stood up as he went to wash his face. “I think…”
*Creak* The door opened revealing Rogers in his suit before Barton could say anything. “Time to go.”
Natasha asked. “Go where?”
“I will tell you on the way. Can you fly one of those jets?”
Steve asked Natasha as Barton popped his head from the bathroom. “I can.”
Rogers looked at Natasha who nodded.
Rogers looked back at Barton. “You got a suit?”
Bart nodded. “Yeah.”
“Suit up.”
Saying that Rogers left.

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.
