After placing all the books in my bag Ms Connie offered to carry the heavy bag.
I gave the bag to her and excitedly walked beside her.
The rest of the day passed slowly for me as I couldn't wait to get back home.
There were 14 thick books on various topics on Maths, IT and the 3 sciences. Each of them as thick as 500 pages.
By the end of 3 days, all the books I had taken out last week had their knowledge assimilated in me.
After that, I started with the next batch of books.
It took me nearly 2 weeks before I managed to finish reading all the books by memorisation and start the process of understanding them.
I went with Ms Connie to return all 14 books. She was surprised to see that I didn't want to rent out any more books.
I had more than enough books going being processed in my head. The only problem was that I had to pause the process of understanding and solving during workouts in order to let my ability do the workouts for me.
One day after showering I came out of the bathroom to notice a tiny bulge on my arms.
"Wait what?!" I tensed my arms and felt the bulge and confirmed it was indeed a muscle.
"But how?!" I was confused.
Shouldn't my second ability literally stop all the growth of my body? Yet here I was with a muscle after nearly a months' worth of exercise.
So, this proved my theory that my 2nd ability was not exactly what El had described and there was more to it.
From that day on I increased the intensity of my workout along with having an understanding that my 3 gifts had more to it that what El told me.

'Keep exercising to only leave enough energy to eat, shower, go back to my bed and go to school tomorrow.' I ordered.
I exercised every 3 days and took a break on the 4th day. As much as exercising it was important to take proper rest along with eating necessary food to grow healthily.
During my rest days, I just let my mind focus on comprehending those 14 books.
Another thing during this time that I suddenly realised that I had wanted to do in my previous life was to improve my lung capacity.
I didn't want to be affected by asthma and constant chest infection like I had in my previous life.
So, I had decided to train my lung capacity by learning the flute. I quickly asked my teacher about it. She had said that she would talk to the school flute instructor and will inform my matron about this.
After school, I went to see Ms Connie and told her about my desire to practise the flute before my teacher could call up and tell her. "Are you sure David?"
"Yes, Ms Connie." I nodded my head in eagerness.
"Ok, I will arrange the council funds for your learning." She said and send me off.
1 week later I had gone to my first flute lesson. My flute teacher handed a brand new flute along with all the necessary parts and cleaning equipment's that comes with it.
I did my 1st lesson horribly making awful noises.
When I came back home, I used my ability to keep practising much to all the other students' annoyance at hearing the squeaky whistling sound.
"Please stop!"
"My ears hurt!"
"David please don't sing anymore!" The kids begged but I ignored them as I took the flute with me to my room.

I decided to practise with my flute at least 2 times a day for 15 minutes each using my Rooted potato ability. 1 in the morning and 1 just before dinner.
Days turned into months and I soon got comfortable in my life.
4 months had passed since I had arrived in this world.
Due to my Rooted potato, I had finally managed to learn playing the flute to an adequate level that the kids in the care home won't shout hearing it.
My flute teacher was pretty surprised at my rapid progress, but I knew it was all thanks to my gift and the time I spent practising on the flute.
Along with that, all the books I had memorised had finally managed to be comprehended after 3 months. Not just that on a scary level I could do most A level maths in my head at the same speed as if someone were doing it on a paper.
This was a terrifying ability. Imagine if other people required calculators and paper to do certain calculations, I could do the same thing in my head while only being 6 years old.
Not just that I started seeing the world not as colours and objects but rather as molecules, quarks, elements, proteins, cells etc. I saw the world for the very building blocks and cells it was made out of.
It was something beautiful to see the world for what I really was. The beauty hidden behind a simple object through science was simply amazing and couldn't be explained.
As for my exercise, I still spent 1-hour doing flexible exercise to make sure my body was always flexible.
Currently, I would do 30 sets of 1 minute of the plank, 20 push-ups, 20 sit up and 1 minute of the high knee for 2 hours every day. I did not do more as my body was literally drained from all that exercise.
Not just that I would always spend 30 minutes playing tags with the other kids before tea just not to be felt left out. I could easily outrun them both in speed and stamina. But oftentimes I would get caught and chase them as a normal kid would just so they wouldn't ostracise me because I was too good.
Today was a weekend and as usual, I asked Ms Connie to take me to the library.
Because it has been a long time since everyone last went to the library, she took all of us with her much to all their annoyance.
Similar to last time I took roughly 30 books on various topics relating to all sorts of fields in science maths and IT.
Ms Connie was not surprised anymore but both Mr Jonathon and Mr Andrew had to carry the bag of books back to our car due to how heavy it was.
