After school, Clare was standing outside waiting for Lefu to exit. Unaware that Lefu have left already as she been avoiding him all day. Where is he, I need to talk to him and apologize? Clare wondered as she coldly scanned the crowd.

While Clare scanned the crowd, her ring slowly dimmed without any marking or white glow. When everyone has left no sign of Lefu was present. “Lady Clare, I called his parents and it seem he missed everything after first period.”

That when the demon attacked, but why did he go missing? My attack should healed within a minute. Clare thoughts became confused. If he not here and not at home, where could he gone. His phone, let's call his phone. Clare quickly grabbed her phone and dialed.

“Lady Clare,” Bill said holding up a phone. “I don’t think he will be answering.”

Why does the mission always have low reward but high punishment? Clare cried as the reward and punishment didn’t balance. Maybe I can talk to him and asked for his location inside the mind realm?

What? I can’t find him in the mind realm. Clare felt her heart drop. If I can’t reach him there than how am I suppose to find him? Let just cover the basics and check the hospitals and morgues as he might have been mispronounced dead.

“Bill, order few men to check the hospitals and morgues,” Clare ordered in freezing cold voice. “If he no at any of those, began raiding the gangs bases. I remember Lefu mentaintioned that few gangs had a bone to pick with him.”

“As you wish, Lady Clare,” Bill replied as he made few quick phone calls. “Until there news, lets head back to the mansion. It seemed that Lady Camilla invited Violet over earlier today.”

“Ok,” Clare coldly agreed. The Ice Queen, emerged dropping the temperature few degrees.

“Young master Lefu, please come back safely,” Bill prayed as Clare’s coldness reached a new level.

After arriving at the mansion, Clare coldly walked in. Behind her she could her Bill apologizing to few servant that welcomed her back. Clare made her way towards the dining hall, and shoved the door open.

“...what if we arrange the tables in this arrangement?” Camilla said pointing to a drawing.

“What if we move these two tables over a bit or they might not be able to see,” Violet comment.

“That is true,” Camilla said. “Welcome back dear, where Lefu?”

“Gone missing,” Clare coldly said. “He went missing after first period.”

“Oh, how didn’t you notice before school ended?” Camilla asked.

“A demon assassin attacked after first period finished. While I was thinking on how I should exorcise the demon, Lefu made a half blade of Aether,” Clare explained. “He managed to kill the demon, but I thought he also killed my friend body. So in a rage I sort of attacked him and watched him leave coughing out blood.”

“Then you were too afraid to face him and attempted to avoid him all day,” Violet said calmly. “But if he was coughing out blood either you hit him with insane amount of Aether or a psychological problem lowered his defense. Did you already start your search?”

“I’m having few people checking hospitals and morgue,” Clare replied. “But it unlikely he be at any. My guess is someone kidnapped him, so the next plan is to raid few gang bases.”

“Well don’t worry to much,” Violet said. “Matt once disappeared for a month after we started dating. When he appeared, he was covered in dirt and blood as a ancient master kidnapped him. He escaped when the ancient master failed in the soul swapping stage.”

“How did that ancient master managed to captured Matt?” Camilla asked. “He ranks in the top twenty of world strongest at age fifteen.”

“He was tricked, a ancient master mentioned he was selling a legendary porn book or something?” Violet laughed. “When he got back he didn’t have the courage to face me. Now he stays away from books in general. Well with Lefu strength he should be fine.”

How can you be so carefree, Clare complained. You’re his mother aren’t you?

“Clare, don’t worry,” Violet said towards her. “Matt will turn the city upside down in few hours from worrying about Lefu. One time when I went out of town to visit my cousin, he forgot and nearly wiped out all the city gangs in few hours.”

What would happen if he left the city? Clare wondered. Then would the entire city turn upside down?

“How do you know he wasn’t taken out of the city?” Clare asked.

“Hmm...That is a possibility,” Violet said. “If that true than you will have to find him.”

“Why do I have to find him?” Clare angrily asked. “He your son, why don’t you worry about him. He is you son!”

“It because he is my son that I don’t worry,” Violet said softly. “I can believe in his strength to bring himself back safely. His weakness in fighting is himself, if he doesn’t subconsciously limit himself he could easily fight against Matt.”

“But Father easily beaten Lefu when they fought?” Clare asked confused. That was a one sided match and i’m guessing Matt is at the same level or surpass father.

“He himself believes he weaker than them,” Violet said, looking at her watch. “Oh, look at the time, Camilla and Clare it was nice chatting to you. If you excuse me I need to go bail Matt out of jail.”

“Do you want to take a car,” Camilla asked. “Or have me call in a favor and have him released.”

“No, it fine,” Violet politely said. “I will stop by later or tomorrow and we can continue our chat.”

“Take care,” Camilla and Clare said watching Violet leave.

After few minutes, Clare went back towards her room. Closing the door she pulled out a storage bin from under her bed. Inside a stuffed bunny was smiling back towards her. Hugging the bunny, she flopped onto her bed and began to tear up.

Stay strong Clare, he be fine, Clare chanted to herself. Even if he loses all his memories of you, you’ll just have to make new ones. Clare began cry harder. Why am I doing this to myself, I’m sure he doesn’t even like me. If anything he only treats me as a friend, nothing more nothing less.

“What us the use is it?” Clare said ignoring the message. I doubt it will contain his whereabouts and allow me to locate him faster.

[“God, that was hard hacking the omni-system. Well I only... few seconds until it... patches and becomes impossible... to hack into again.” a woman voices cut in and out of the system. “This should be the time Lefu was taken. Clare, you need to find him or...the humans and supernatural kind...wipeout...Lefu is the...Farm...you must hurry.”]

The message began to cut out badly at the end. “Farm? Wipeout? Lefu is the cause but why is he at a farm?” Clare wondered as the message only served to confused her. “Is the kidnapper going to brainwash him into wiping out everything?”

Maybe he at a farm? Clare suddenly thought. Clare quickly cleaned herself up and brought out her laptop. Logging in she hugged the bunny as the computer slowly loaded up. “Mr. Bunny, how many farms do you think going to be in the surrounding area?”

“Over 40,” Clare made a squeaky voice, and acted like the bunny was talking.

“I hope not,” Clare replied. “It would take too much time to search them all.”

“Remove the humans without a connection to the supernatural community,” Kevin’s said in the doorway.

“Father, Why didn’t you knock,” Clare shouted throwing a pillow at him. “Aren’t you supposed to be working?”

“Don’t sweat the details,” Kevin replied. “How can I leave my cute daughter alone. Why did you suddenly want to check farms?”

“Farms have lots of land to hide a person,” Clare said unable to think of a better reason. “It’s not unreasonable for him not to be at one. Beside a feeling telling me he’s at one.”

Kevin simply stared at her, not knowing what going through his mind. “If you believe he’s at one, we can check them out, but only when you narrow the list down to three,” Kevin said.

“Got it, now get out of my room old man,” Clare said.

“Do I stink that bad?” Kevin mumbled as he smelled himself and left.

Left in her room, Clare pulled up a map and began research who owns the farms. Even if she can’t get her hands on police records, she could still gather information quickly. Within the next five hours she manage to narrow down the list, to two farms. If he at any farm he be at one of these two.

Preparing to go show Kevin, Clare knocked over a folder holding Lefu information, she read before. When she began picking up the scattered paper, she noticed that it mentioned something about a farm. The Mino’s Farm? They weren't one of my choice, but I might add it and check out how they grow their strawberries. If I manage to learn that then I could grow them myself and control Lefu with them.

Quickly adding the farm to her list, Clare rushed out of her room. Entering the dining hall she rushed toward Kevin, and shown him her list. She quickly began explaining her reasoning and he nodded at her choices.

“Very good, but why is Mino’s farm on the list,” Kevin couldn’t help but asked.

“He is a man who Lefu knows very well,” Clare said. “So, even if the chances are non-existent it worth a chance.”

“What the real reason,” Kevin said.

“I want to see if there a secret to their strawberries,” Clare quietly sad. “If by chance I learned it then I could grow them and control Lefu with them.”

Bursting out laughing, Kevin agreed.
