《My Orange Glove》First strike

'I feel a bit worried' Pef admitted as he chewed on the delicious rice omelet. Dragon egg omelet.
'Stop thinking about all the things that might go wrong.' the glove advised its user in a mocking tone.
Pef sighed and looked around, finding his allies eating the omelet with slow movements and wary faces. The omelet was quite good though. It must be the mood.
"It's going to be fine, people. Drink some wine!" he declared in a grandiose voice, and raised his wine glass.
"Never change, Pef..." he heard his wife Lia mutter, with his extraordinary senses. Pef smirked and gulped his Divine Wine.
The General's eyes twinkled with silver lights, then she gulped the rest of the omelet in one bite. "Get ready!" she ordered as she rose to her feet and gulped the rest of her wine.
A second later, the fabric of the universe tore aside, and seven large Dragons already transformed in their combat forms burst inside the Ovipositor, followed by millions of lesser Dragons, all glaring with anger and hate at the invaders.
Pef waved his fork in the air, the last bite of his golden, crispy omelet held high like a war flag. "You made it just in time, dear Dragons. There's one bite left..." he explained as he offered the fork towards the largest Dragon. This Dragon was over a kilometer in height, so he was probably the leader.
A dead silence followed as the poor Elder Dragon tried to process the scene in front of him.
"Did you just offer him to eat his own child?" Lord Serghoul wondered with a confused and amused voice, which contrasted heavily with his own Death aura.
Pef nodded slowly, as if realizing something important. Then he shrugged and ate the last bite of omelet. "Tastes like chicken." he concluded in a enlightened voice, nodding wisely as well.
"BURN!" the huge Dragon shouted, and waves of Dragonfire engulfed the small pocket universe.
Pef blinked gently, then tapped his foot on the marble floor, raising secondary and tertiary arrays to combat and block the fierce flames.
To his sides, the Legion began launching their own Skills and elemental attacks, moving in slow-motion in Pef's own enhanced vision. Red and golden shields covered the Dragon army, and nearly nullified the Legion's first strike.

Our Hero sighed inward, noting the huge disparity between his own forces and the Dragons. A billion attacks from the Ant Soldiers and hundreds of Skills from the Legion Captains, and less than a hundred weak Dragons had died.
The big Dragon in the front even snorted in pity at the weak display.
"This is what my Grandfather feared? Pathetic..." the Elder Dragon rumbled almost amused.
His voice faltered as a giant sword flashed by and took his head, followed by a dozen more strikes that portioned his limbs and tail into more manageable portions, that vanished into Pef's glove pantry in the next moment.
A black ghost-like Dragon shape flew back, trying to escape the battlefield, when the Serghoul clenched a bony hand and dragged the Dragon's soul towards him. The soul struggled even harder to get away, but another ghostly entity appeared and ripped the Dragon soul in half, crunching on the part in its claws while throwing the rest towards the Serghoul like a master throws bones to a dog.
"Indeed, it tastes a bit like chicken." the spirit Taotie concluded with an appreciative glance towards Pef.
Over to the left, the General resisted the urge to slap her face, and struck towards the next Elder Dragon with her own Taotie-claw sword, missing the neck but slicing off an arm and shoulder from her target.
The White Tiger pounced on the wounded Elder Dragon, in a whirlwind of teeth and claws, as the hells broke loose and the battlefield degenerated into a giant melee.
Aria's Garden expanded to engulf the pocket universe, with billions of vines and cacti and other dangerous plants growing at hyperspeed to entangle the Dragon Army and slow them down. The Dragons fought valiantly to chop down the Wood-enhanced vines, but that took time and energy too.
'Next target.' the glove demanded while marking another Elder Dragon in Pef's vision.
Pef flashed forward, and punched the next Tier 8 Dragon in his throat, just as the Tribulation Lightning fell. A small Taotie claw emerged from the glove and severed the Dragon's head, then withdrew back in the glove before anyone noticed.
The spirit Taotie grinned as he grabbed another Elder Dragon and ripped him apart, although making sure to protect the Dragon's internal organs and save them for his disciple. A Dragon's Heart was a rare commodity even in the Higher Heavens, and little Yue would need every advantage just to keep up with her blonde monster of a husband.

Lara arrived in front of the wounded Elder Dragon besieged by her pet Godbeast tiger, and punched the Dragon in the face with a Skill-enhanced body,
only for her Skill to shatter into blue qi flakes. "Damn it. Not again..." she grumbled as the Dragon's tail spun around and smacked her in the back, breaking her spine and collapsing her internal organs.
A violet bubble sprang around the wounded woman as Yue waved a finger, extracting her sister-wife from her predicament and dragging her towards the back, where Aria and other healers had set up a medical station.
'It's a 8 Star Tier 8 Dragon. I'm sending Kalima in.' the glove remarked in a patient voice as a qi transmission already went.
Pef nodded and flashed again, blocking another Elder Dragon from biting Lia's head off. She wouldn't die for long, but better never die at all.
He struggled to hold the giant head away with his Heart Ruler, then kicked the Elder Dragon in the belly, doing no damage to the armored Dragon scales.
"Weak human!" the Tier 8 Dragon growled superiorly, before his face scowled in pain.
On his belly, a Formation Array spread out then collapsed inward, crunching his legs and stomach into a single point.
'The new Dark Matter-Gravity Array works just fine.' Pef noted as his sword slid under the chin of the Elder Dragon and took off his head with a flash of Dimensional Slicing.
A lazy spiritual claw grabbed the fleeing Dragon soul as another pair of ghost claws eviscerated the headless Dragon and took out his still-beating heart, holding it out like a medal.
Pef collected the trophy in his glove and moved away, landing in the middle of the Dragon Army.
"Hello there!" he exclaimed with a wide grin. Classics were to be respected, after all.
He spun his sword in circle, while launching a million Voidswords out like a hurricane, obliterating the weaker Dragons in a single strike.
"And good-bye..." he muttered as he appeared in front of the last Elder Dragon and struck down with a Dimensional Slice, cutting him open like a melon.
Behind him, the million-strong Dragon Army collapsed as if their strings were cut, raising his cultivation level once more.
Added to his other Dragon kills, three more Stars rose his cultivation, equaling Fairy Kalima without 6000 Chaos Cycles to waste. Cultivation was hard enough, even without wasting so much time.
Lord Serghoul arrived beside Pef to collect his own prize, fine tendrils of Death Qi trapping and slowly digesting the Elder Dragon's soul.
'Our loses are 1.2 million Ants, and 3 Tier 7 Captains. Less than 1 percent' the glove announced content, as it scanned the quieting battlefield.
Only one fight still went on, the wounded Elder Dragon surrounded by every Tier 8 in the Legion, plus Kalima.
And still the Dragon fought bravely, even as hundreds of cuts and gashes marked his body, spraying blood like a giant hill-sized fountain.
Pef glanced towards the spirit Taotie and shook his head, preventing the Taotie from stealing the kill. 'Be ready, old badger. The hard part comes soon.' he warned the monster, while his fingers danced on the fabric of space-time, repairing broken arrays and laying more Formations.
Then, with a flash of insight he anchored the last Formation into the bodies of the Legion Ants, giving it nearly a billion more nodes and a slightly better recovery rate, if the Ants survived.
'This was a great fight!' the Heart Ruler exclaimed as it flew in circles around Pef and paraded his awesome body.
'And so it was, big guy. We'll probably all die very soon...' Pef murmured inward, noting how the entire Legion still hadn't managed to bring down the last Elder Dragon, even with Kalima to help.
'The General says there's a good chance for victory.' the glove added as a morale boost.
It didn't say the odds though. One in a billion may sound a bit small for his human host.
