It’s been a week since we left Arziron.

We repelled a group of Lortuka yesterday. The ferocious wingless birds proved easy to defeat, and we were soon feasting on roast Lortukas. They tasted just like chicken, and I will admit that I enjoyed the meal.

We only bought provisions good for another week; thankfully, our research team has deciphered an Urnosian book that has information of plants and trees native only to this land, some which are edible. We found quite a few strange fruits around the area where we are, so we began to experiment. They also taste quite good, sweet with a little sourness in them.

The day passed uneventfully, though tension in the still remained. We still have a long journey before we reach the borders, and it is already a miracle that we are still alive.

How long will this miracle last, I do not know.
