We suffered thirty more casualties today, probably our heaviest loss yet since the beginning of this mission. But we didn't got the chance to bury them. There was nothing left but a few bits and pieces of their body.

The attacks were fiercer, and the waves seemed to increase with each one. We repelled the last one three hours ago, but more are on the way.

We convened with all the commanders, and we all agreed that Caltina will soon be a death trap. Thus, we must retrace our steps and return to Arlonia before none of us ever did.

It is almost midnight now. We will soon be moving out. Our target is Arziron, where we hope to rest a little before heading toward that village we stayed in a few weeks before. It would take us days, maybe weeks, while we fend off the attacks we will encounter certainly on the way. And we will lose many good men and women, but we have no choice.

This is our only hope for survival.
