The research team made another startling discovery.

At the height of the war between Urnos and Thuron, two prominent names came up often: Lovrhan, king of Urnos, and Thuron's queen-mage… Irelda. It is the same name that has been stuck in my memory ever since my three-day sleep after visiting that lake, and a chill crawled down my spine as soon as the research team mentioned that name.

Lovrhan and Irelda were once lovers, but their kingdoms had long been at war even before they were born. They tried to stop the conflict and plead to their parents, but their pleas fell on deaf ears, and the war continued.

One day, the two lovers decided to leave everything behind. But they were caught on the day of their departure by Urnosian soldiers, and the two were separated. Lovrhan was executed by his brother, Gamrhan, for treachery in front of a grieving Irelda.

The woman was about to suffer the same fate, but in rage and grief, she unleashed a spell that destroyed all living creatures in the capital of Urnos, leaving nothing but the city itself unharmed.

The research team stopped after that, unable to decipher the next pages. They told us that the last entries would be quite easy, but they would need more time.

We returned to our tents with more questions than we would like. I know their stories were intertwined with our current situation, but until we reach the capital, we can only guess.
