Day 4,567
A three-day journey took us to yet another signs of civilization. This time, it was a small village.
I have to give credit to these Lovrhanians, as some in the expeditionary force has began calling the mysterious people who built the tower, and now this village. Their skills in masonry are far more advanced than those in the Known Lands, especially the Empire. And dare I say it, even better than the dwarves.
This time, we found many clues, though we can't understand them. Books, scrolls, letters. They are all written in the same ancient language as the one from the old tower, and our research team is now focused on deciphering them.
But more than that, we discovered that the village has an armory and smithy. No weapons or armors remain in them, but the smithy looks to be functional despite being abandoned for probably hundreds of years, if not thousands.
We set up camp inside the crumbling village walls. And for the first time since this expedition, we felt relatively safe and secure. Adren plan to stay in here for another day, hoping to find out more about Lovrhan. We didn't protest—we need some rest, and this seems a good spot.
As I write this entry, I'm inside one of the abandoned stone huts together with Eina and a few others. It is small, I admit, and dirty when we first found it. But with some help, we managed to make it a little livable.
Tomorrow, we plan to explore the nearby mountain for more clues after seeing what looked like another tower. Who knows what we will find this time?
